Good value for money but still room for improvement
The breakfast changes every day, there is only one option per day, in my opinion the breakfast options were tasty and good portions. The room was clean as well as the shared bathroom/shower facilities which were cleaned every two days. The staff is very kind and accommodating. The location is fantastic for exploring Antigua by walk. They also offer low cost tours at a good price. We took the Acatenango tour.
The quality of the mattresses, blankets and towels varies a lot (we stayed in 3 different rooms in 3 different opportunities). Often the mattress was very old, and the same with the towels. The bedrooms can be very cold during the night, needing extra blankets to keep warm. They provide “drinkable” water, however we have doubts of the safety of the water, I have no doubt the water is clean/safe enough for locals, but I would recommend foreigners to buy bottle mineral water instead.

Awful
A whole bus of people came here at 2 in the morning and woke me and my partner up by yelling across the hostel, banging on our bedroom door trying to get in, playing loud music, and looks like the hostel overbooked. We had a hike the next morning early at 6am. The staff did nothing to quiet the crowd down and is honestly one of the worst stay experiences I’ve ever had at a hostel ever, I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all if you like sleep. We were told by another local person staying here that this happens all the time. I think if we stayed at a party hostel it still would’ve been a better experience and more respectful at night, truly awful stay.

Nice budget hotel in Anitigua
The staff had a nice friendly vibe. The breakfast in the morning alternates so you don't have to eat the same thing every morning! I liked having my own entrance it felt a little like an apartment.
The room I was in was next to the shared bathroom. That is fine but there was no number on my door so people kept mistaking it for the bathroom and a few times people just opened the door and came into my room. I learned to lock it while I was inside but a number on the door to indicate would be nice. Also the door handle wasn't the best lock could be a little more secure.

Antigua soñada
Lugar accesible. Histórico. Cómodo. Barato.
