This was the first time we’ve ever had to pay a bond to stay at a property and we’re always on family holidays all year

Clean and had great facilities

Owner will ask for a $500 bond before your stay. Even after 3months we still haven’t received the bond back. We left the property in the same clean condition so not sure what happened.

It is a very Australian warm house.

New clean roomy house. Good quality beddings. Plenty cooking gears. The back yard, dinning room, living room and kitchen are in an open area. The owner leaves plenty daily use cooking materials, such as rice, salt, oil, coffee capsules etc. We can feel the owner's touching and warm hearted.

Perfect

Sullivan's Retreat is perfect for a weekend getaway. Our stay was for 6 adults and two toddlers. The kids were so comfortable and the whole property was just divine. Exactly what we needed after a rough few months. Bedrooms were clean, warm and very comfortable. Kitchen was so well equipped with pots and pans, plenty of crockery and a wide range of condiments. We were left wanting nothing. The host, Andrew, was very available to patiently answer all of my questions leading up to the stay.

Comfortable accommodation but unwelcoming hosting

Beds comfortable. Parking for 3 cars.

That a deposit of $500 was added to the reservation costs without being clear in approval process. When I investigated this information was buried in the “important information” section third paragraph. It took 10 days from checkout to refund. Signs all over house about what not to do. Had to put out rubbish even though not a bin night. No milk for tea or any biscuits/snacks. Towels thin.

Clean. Spacious.

A few issues that should be sorted. Front door was very hard to lock. Toilet holder was lose and hanging off the wall on the upstairs toilet. The Wii didn’t work - might have been a battery issue. Bringing bins to the road as a request wasn’t luxurious at all. The prize for the property didn’t match the luxury experience we were hoping for.

Nicely decorated beach house in a great location

The house was in the best location within 5 minutes walk to town centre. The whole house was nicely decorated with a beach feel. The 10 ppl dining table in the kitchen was very spacious for our party of 7, while the kitchen was fully functional with a walk in pantry full of basic necessities. The beds were extremely comfortable and we all had sound sleep. Although the backyard was on the small side but it had artificial lawn which makes it easy for kids to run around. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

Amazing trip

The house was amazing, we had an excellent stay here. It has a great location which is close to the pier and the peninsula hot springs. The house was very clean and tidy, all the dishes were well washed. The landlord is very nice and always responds to our messages quickly and effectively ( thank you!!). Overall, we all recommend you to choose this place if you are looking for a clean and cozy place to stay.

It would be great if there will be more sufficient hot water supply.
