Sehr erholsamer Urlaub!

Super freundliche und liebevolle Menschen führen das Hotel. Die Anlage wird toll gepflegt und der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend! Der Blick vom Balkon auf Ort und Berge ist schön. Das Frühstück wird von den Besitzern frisch zubereitet: selbst gekochte Marmeladen, frisches Obst aus eigenem Anbau. Das gepflegte Zimmer war ausreichend groß, mit Kühlschrank, Klima und bequemen Betten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!

A very quiet place, nice pool, very clean and the owners were very kind. Nice breakfest also, the hotel was really good for its value. Rooms were as shown in the pictures.

good value for money

comfortable beds, nice but simple room. AC worked very well and nice fly screens at the balcony door. if you are good by foot you can easily walk to Zante town in just 10 mins (down & up the hill but totally fine!). staff was very friendly!

Very satisfied with the stay

We booked Lofos Strani almost last minute grabbing the only room left in the mid-August (3 nights). The hotel is very nicely located on the hill above Zakinthos town. It's quiet (with exception of some kids in the pool). The room was OK - it has ensuite bathroom with a shower. There's also a TV and refrigerator. Small balcony is a nice place to sit in the evening sipping wine. The pool looks good and provides a refreshing dip in the summer. The breakfasts were good - enough selection for everyone, food in most cases tasty. It's served under the roof (in area close to reception), so no scorching sun. Parking is large and we did not have any problems with finding a free place during our stay. All in all - very good stay.

Location on the hill means it's quiet but it also means that there's only one restaurant in the neigbourhood. To have some more options you have to walk down to Zakynthos town and the way back is... yep, you're right - unfortunately up ;-) If you have a car, my advice is not to drive to the town - parking there can be an absolute nightmare in the summer.

unforgettable vacation

my friends and I were very enjoyed to stay in this hotel. the staff and the owner were always tender. They contribute make our vacation wonderful. the photos make the reality perfectly.

Good hospitality!

Family business, very hospitalized by the owners, willing to help with everything. Not very far from the center, have it's own private parking. Good price for few days. Basically you get what you pay for.

The furniture are a bit old,( the bed not that comfortable) .

Tiresome stay

Hearty breakfast, accessible location not so far from the center. The staff is very kind and clean room.

The room on the ground floor is very noisy. The noise is coming from all directions. Uncomfortable bed. We came for relaxation and peace, but We didn't have it.

Exceptional

I recommend this hotel, very good breakfast in the shadows of palm trees, homemade desserts. The Staff helped us with all issuses. The pool is nice, everyday clean room. If you dont mind a little walk up the hill its close to city centrum. No problem with parking car/other vehicles. Mini market 1 min away.

Place is like a garden with rooms scattered all around. Staff are super super nice, you feel like ure at home! Breakfast was amazing and for just €4 it also includes 3 types of eggs, bacon, bread, home made cakes, the lady bakes them herself (orange cake is to die for), waffles, croissants, homemade greek yogurt, olives etc etc. They even gave us bread for free to make sandwiches for lunch when we asked them! Pool is big and spacious pool area. Far enough from the hussle and bustle of the city, free parking and very central area can reach most island in half an hour or less.

Only thing is that some rooms' furniture is quite dated although everything is fully functional. Overall we did not mind this at all and i believe they have already started some rooms renovations.

i really liked the balcony and there is food and drinks that can be bought in the lobby, also a mini market very close by

unfortunately the room was badly soundproofed and one could here everything outside, even when the windows were closed

Very cosy and comfortable place with friendly hosts and beautiful sunsets

Extremely hospitable and caring hosts, unforgettable sunsets, perfect evening tranquillity. Every morning, the host would greet you with a smile as you came for breakfast in the conservatory, where a large buffet with a Greek hot-cold menu and, every morning, a different kind of Greek cake, freshly baked by the hostess. Unbelievable value for money! The surroundings are extremely well maintained even in the hottest season, with lots of greenery, a clean warm pool with sunbeds. The rooms are very tidy and have everything you need. Plenty of privacy, quiet and cultured neighbours who respect the rest and peace of mind of others. The best impressions, highly recommended!

Our stay at Lofos Strani was great. A clean place, a very good servis, friendly people. The morning was served very fresh and testily. We went there with our car, but Lofos has a good locations to enjoy the island. We enjoy a lot our stay there with a roon for 5 persons, with e private a and very nice veranda.

relaxed 7 days that I would gladly repeat

Staff! Nice and ready to help! I liked that the property is located on a top of the hill so there’s almost constant wind + the property has a lot of olive trees, palms and other greenery. The pool is a very nice bonus too.

mosquitoes! but, it is summer and it’s just no escaping them. at least there are mosquito nets so if you take care with keeping them closed you’ll get to minimum bites per night 🙂

Everything was perfect! Room is cozy, bathroom is well-equiped, the balcony is nice. The pool is very nice and clean. People here are very friendly, helpful and professional. They helped us with any problem we had. Food is made by them with love and passion. Location is very good, there is close to Zakintos and other main cities. I highly recommend visiting Lofos Strani, it's very nice place. If I come back to Zakintos there is no other option for me than staying there!

It was hard to leave this place

Everything was perfect- the staff, yummy breakfast, very nice room(especially the balcony), a lot of space to sunbathing. We also enjoyed spending time at the pool. Less than two minutes by foot there is a shop, when you can find everything you need. It is also close to Zante Town, you can even go there by foot (but be careful because there is no sidewalk). I really recommend this place! ❤️

I enjoied my stay.

The location was very beautiful and well organized. The room looked very nice, spacious, with good beds, nice paintings and very clean bed sheets(these are changed and refreshed every day). The room is cleaned daily. The bathroom loos very nice and modern. The balcony is also very nice. The beakfast was also very good. The staff was excelent we were helped and received good advices about the area. I truly recommand the location!

We loved the rooms. They were very comfortable. The location was also good as it was 10 minute walk to the city center. The staff were also helpful.

They lock the hotel after 12 midnight.

Exceptional

It's the second time we went at Lofos Strani. We were last year here. Everything is perfect: - the courtyard (many palm trees) - very good breakfast - very nice and warm swimming pool - very nice staff Definitely we will come back soon. This island is great.

The beds are not quite comfortable.

Excellent personnel, bad apartment

Excellent personnel, family-like approach, pool with free beds, discount 15% in very good restaurant in walking distance with great meals. Very good service during breakfast. Great fruits from the owner's garden. However, ham, cheese, and esp. coffee of poor quality. Regular cleaning of the rooms. Private whirlpool in the apartment. Quiet place.

Salty water in the bathroom, shower, whirlpool, pool and even in your hot water for a cup of tea during breakfast. Completely non-functional air-conditioning in the apartment room. Continuously leaking water (hopefully water) from the floor at the toilet - feeling disgusting like WC at a rock fest somewhere in the fields :-(

Deserve more than 2 stars

The quiet place, the nice landlord. Sheets towels exchanged every 2nd day. The pool is nice and clean.

A bit far from beaches, hence the low price. But thanks God that are plenty of cars and scooters to rent

An excellent service and welcoming host

This is a wonderful hotel. It is located just a little bit outside the town (on the hill) and you have to walk around 1,5 km to reach the city center. To go to the nice beach is around 5 min with taxi (apr. 3-4 km far away). But EVERYTHING else is so cozy and peaceful. If you have a car, this is an excellent place to stay. The host is so welcoming and helpful. He helped us with everything. Prepared for us coffee to take way for free, arrange a taxi, sent us back home with bottle of local wine. The pool is very clean and the setting is so relaxing. The room is basic furnished but you have everything needed to spend a great time. I strongly recommend it! A small Cafe and mini market just 200 metars away of the hotel.
