Der moderne Neubau ist mit allem Komfort (z.B .: komplett eingerichtete Küche und zwei Bäder) ausgestattet. Die ruhige Ferienwohnung liegt am Hang eines Hügels und hat einen grandiosen Blick über die Stadt und die Ria (Fjord). Wegen der Süd-Ausrichtung ist sie auch an bewölkten Tagen sehr hell. Das Glanzstück der Wohnung ist die 40 qm-große sonnige Dachterrasse. Genießen Sie sowohl tagsüber wie auch nachts den einmaligen Panoramablick über die Stadt und die typisch galizische Ria-Landschaft mit der Mündung des Lérez Flusses.
Die Lage der Wohnung ist strategisch sehr günstig: man ist in wenigen Fußminuten in der Altstadt von Pontevedra und durch die 1,5 Km entfernte Autobahn welche Galicien von Norden bis Süden verbindet, können Sie Vigo in 15 Minuten, Portugal in 35 Minuten und Santiago de Compostela in 40 Minuten schnell und ohne Stadtverkehr erreichen.

There is so much experience/learning that we have been able to do. From Santiago to Portugal, the Atlantic islands, the supply of supermarkets or the many good restaurants in terms of seafood or BBQ. Quality and prices are quite good. You have to enjoy the homemade lobster, oysters, fish variations prepared and enjoyed on the great terrace. The area and landscape invites you to visit again.

Balcon de Pontevedra is a nice, clean and complete apartment: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. The living room is not that big, but that is more than compensated by the spacious roof terrace with a view of Pontevedra, the Ria and the entire area. The photo you see when you look up Pontevedra on Google could easily have been taken from this balcony. The apartment is on the fourth floor of a new apartment complex, accessible by a lift. For a modest surcharge, you can also use a parking space in the parking garage. Small supermarket around the corner, shopping center (with large supermarket) and the historic center of Pontevedra within walking distance. Excellent base to visit the immediate or further surroundings (Combarra, Vigo, Santiago or even Portugal). Angel is an enthusiastic and hospitable landlord who is happy to give suggestions about what to visit in the area. We had a great time for three weeks. Thanks! Wim & Sini

This was the perfect apartment and location for us (we don't mind walking and enjoyed being a little walk away from the old town.) It was an easy 20 minute walk for us to the old town. There is a steep uphill section on the way back. If you have a car, you definitely want to.pay for the garage parking. You won't really have any other great options. Angel was a great host and you should definitely follow her dining recommendations. The only thing I would make people aware of is that the neighbors have a small farm next door with a large group of roosters and dogs. If you are a light sleeper, I would bring earplugs or a noise machine (we just played sleep sounds on my phone). We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The apartment is clean, modern, stylishly decorated yet cozy. The large patio offers a grate view of the city. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. All types of stores (grocery, general merchandise) and restaurants/cafes are within walking distance. The parking garage is worth the small additional fee. Angel was a great host. Very helpful from our initial inquiry and throughout the stay. He responded quickly to all questions. We recommend highly without any reservation.

We hadden een fijne vakantie in dit verblijf. De woning is gezellig ingericht en zeer comfortabel. Vanaf het terras hadden we een schitterend uitzicht over de rivier en het stadje Pontevedra met z'n vele pleintjes en restaurants, dat op 15 minuten te voet te bereiken is. We hadden het geluk om daar ook het jaarlijkse middeleeuws feest mee te maken, een belevenis!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, l'appartement est tout confort, bien insonorisé , avec une grande terrasse très bien aménagée, qui le grand plus de ce logement. Nous avons découvert Pontevedra durant les festivités, avec ses concerts, ses feux d'artifices , et sa fête foraine. La Galice est une région magnifique Nous conseillons vivement ce logement, Monsieur Roche est fort sympathique et soucieux du bien être de ses locataires

Lovely apartment

The apartment was lovely and well furnished. Large terrace overlooking Pontevedra was great, lovely place to sit and was really useful as the apartment was quite compact. Only a few minutes walk into Pontevedra over one of the bridges. It is on a small steep hill so may not suit everyone. Pontevedra is a lovely town, with the centre traffic free. Only downside was the owner charging us more once we had booked it and we had to pay this locally.

Wunderschöne Wohnung an der Peripherie von Pontevedra. Toll eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet (bis auf einen fehlenden Staubsauger) Angel, der Vermieter, ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Reservierung problemlos. Empfehlung: dringend den Tiefgarageneinstellplatz, den Angel besorgen kann, mitmieten — es sind keine frei verfügbaren Parkplätze vorhanden ! Traumterrasse mit wahnsinning tollen Blick. Betten hervorragend, man schläft sehr gut. Wir hatten die Wohnung als zweite Ettappenbasis für den Caminho Portuguese gewählt. Meine Frau als Pilgerin und ich als Begleitfahrzeug—Fahrer. Ich habe sie Abends abgeholt und morgens wieder zum letzten Punkt der Pilgerreise gebracht. Pontevedra ist super zentral gelegen, man kann von hier die komplette Strecke spanischen Grenze bis Santiago de Compstella abdecken. Der Pilgerweg führt mitten durch Pontevedra. Hier ist eine der wesentlichen Kapellen, die der jungfräulichen Pilgerin, das zentrale Pilgerziel. Diese Kapelle ist ca. 30 min zu Fuss von der Wohnung entfernt. Ebenfalls empfehlenswert ist der Strand „Playa da Rodas“ auf der Illas Ciés vor der galicischen Stadt Vigo . Dieser wurde als „schönster Strand der Welt“ vor ein paar Jahren von der englischen Zeitung „The Guardian“ bezeichnet. Wunderschöner Sandstrand mit türkisfarbenen Wasser.

Magnífica cada con maravillosas vistas

Magnífica cada con maravillosas vistas

La casa está muy limpia, tiene todas las comodidades, está muy bien situada para hacer turismo por la zona (hay millón de cosas por ver, muy cerca, y muchos restaurantes en los alrededores, incluido un estrella Michelín) e ir a cualquier playa y a cinco minutos de Pontevedra. Hay un centro comercial al lado. Tiene wifi, el barrio es muy tranquilo y las camas muy cómodas (hemos dormido como bebés) y las vistas desde la terraza simplemente inigualables, tanto para comer fuera como para sentarse en las tumbonas y relajarse. Ángel y su mujer son encantadores y la comunicación ha sido perfecta en todo momento. La relación calidad-precio es estupenda. Volveremos.

Magische Ferienwohnung in einer wunderschönen Gegen

Wir haben zwei fantastische Wochen in der Ferienwohnung "Balcón de Pontevedra" verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr hell, gemütlich eingerichtet, perfekt ausgestattet und der Ausblick von der riesigen Terrasse ist so wunderbar, dass man den ganzen Tag da sitzen bleiben könnte- was wir auch an manchen Tagen gemacht haben-. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt: in 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht man die Altstadt von Pontevedra. Man kann aber auch von da auch schnell raus aus der Stadt um Ausfluge in den nächsten Städten und Stränden machen. Es gibt auch viele schönen Wanderwege in der Nähe. Sehr empfehlenswert ist der Weg entlang des Flusses Lérez (Richtung das Dorf Lérez), welcher praktisch direkt von der Haustür startet. Die Vermieter (Angel und Maria) haben uns sehr warm empfangen, gaben uns sehr nützliche Tipps und waren immer bereit unsere Fragen zu beantworten. Vielen Dank! Wir freuen uns auf unsere nächsten Ferien in diesem magischen Ort.

Very convenient and friendly

We spent a beautiful time in Ponteverdra. The view from the terraze is amazing espacially at night. The appartement was convenient and comfortable. Mt Angel Roche is very freindly an attentative. Everything was fine.
