The locagion is excellent, in the center, walikng 3 min to all restaurants, etc , there is a supermarket shop attached to the house, farmacy is at 3 min ealk, and also the busea and moto that go yo all destinations stop right in front of the hostel. The owners are super nice, helped keep my bags after check out,

There is no hot water to showe, but this is an issue in Minca lall over so far i only found one of the 3 hotesl i stayed had warm water , costeño river . But the value for money is excellent. Alao there is no mosquito met, but i did not have any in my room and anyway i used lots of repellent .

Very friendly people.

Bed too hard so slept with the 2 big pillows underneath. Sorry for the NEGLECTED little black cat, kept outside, SKINNY and STARVING while all the others got food and water inside. I stole food for it every day!

Great stay with friends

Location is great right in the middle of anywhere you need to walk or go. Staff was super friendly and the courtyard is a great place to hang out.

The shower. The shower was terrible. It can barely be described as a functional shower. It is the worst shower. The absolute worst shower.

Great oasis in Minca

Great oasis in middle of Minca. Very nice and frindly owners, nice patio with pool. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Great value for money. We planned to stay 1 or 2 nights and at the end stayed 4:)

This was a great choice for a budget hotel in Minecraft. Lots of cats a simple kitchen if you want to cook and a store right in front. Located right behind there the collective arrives from Santa Marta

Great place to stay at in minca, right at the center of town, literally a minute walk to the bus stop to Santa Marta. The Owner's are really nice and helpful. They own a supermarket just outside the hostel so it's easy to get anything you need. Rooms are nice and there's a nice garden to sit in.

Only - is that they shut the power in Minca city that day and we didnt know about it so we couldnt charge our phones for a 8 hour busride

Great location, nice hosts but with cats and insects

The hosts were super friendly and it’s in a great location, with the owner’s shop also next door. The room was spacious with a private bathroom, and then a nice communal space outside where we met some other travellers. It was a nice quiet place to chill in the day too, and the room had a good fan.

It wasn’t the cleanest with lots of insects and a gap under the bedroom door meaning we had an ant trail in the room. Also they have resident cats which wasn’t our preference and there is cat hair on a lot of the seats / tables in the communal area (each to their own on that!).

Great Stay!

The owner is the best! This is in a great location and is a clean cheap place to stay close to the main square. There is a fan in your room and you can get your laundry done too!

Showers are cold and that never gets easier but many places in Colombia are this way so your options there are limited!

Great location. Rooms are set back from the road behind the supermarket so it's very quiet at night. Close to shops/restaurants/bus stop. Double room is spacious and comfortable.

Unpleasant experience

Firstly - my advice to first time visitors to Minca (especially solo travelers) is to arrive early in the day. Poor lighting and many small roads leading to accommodations. I’m a regalar booking.com user but had a terrible experience here. I booked a from online for the same night, pretty much straight away I showed up to check in and was told there was no room for me even though I had a confirmation etc. I completely understand things happen but what annoyed me most was the attitude and rudeness directed towards me, absolutely no responsibility taken or effort to help me find alternative hotel etc. It was already dark and public transport leaving Minca finishes up early. Minca has limited and overpriced accommodation in my opinion, especially for those on a budget. Most of the accom also seems to be occupied. Consequently I was forced to leave Minca that night and take private transport to Santa Marta. The property needed to do more in this situation.

Localisation next to the bus stop, nice view, staf nice and friendly (with the exception as written below)

Pool had no water. The door to the bathroom (room 103) does not close completely, the toilet seat (connection to the toilet bowl) was broken - we mentioned this after check-in, there were no other rooms available so we decided to stay. We were surprised that after our stay, as we left Minca, the owner wrote to us on whats-up that he wanted to charge us for the broken toilet seat. This mainly influence the rating as if not such bad surprise at the end raiting would be 8+
