It was a beautiful location. Very peaceful and the staff were friendly and attentive.
The room was lovely. The little treats were a nice touch.
Nothing! It was a lovely stay...just too short. We should have stayed longer!

Nothing. TERRIBLE experience!
Terrible experience. Booked for wife, me and little baby. Mentioned it by phone, all ok. Prepaid everything. Arrive at the hotel after a long drive (and difficult road, hotel is hard to reach). Sent away immediately, "no baby policy", despite what they said on the phone. Threw us on the streets with a six weeks baby on our arms, in 38 degrees heat. And the worst thing is: no apology, not even one euro back: they kept all our money, but did not let us in.

The staff were all so accommodating and friendly. The location and our ability to walk into town was great! Amazing breakfast—too much wonderful food!
There was a large closet with hangers but no shelves or drawers to store clothes.

Some rooms are located in shady location
No windows, low privacy level, no coffee machine
Location is challenging regarding car and slope to the city

service was exceptional
difficult to reach by car, but if you want to stay in center of town, it is expected

The breakfast was outstanding - several choices (including a wide variety of fresh pastries, pancakes, oatmeal/porridge, yogurt, fresh fruit) and a very attentive wait staff that ensures customer satisfaction. The breakfast room is casually elegant and features restored murals from the early days of the monastery.
Everything was perfect. The location is ideal - so close to the village center with abundant high quality restaurants and unique shops.

Facilities, personnel in reception and spa, the spa, location, quietness, excellent breakfast.
Would be perfect if there was some ’light food’ available (other than breakfast) via room service, for example.

Great hotel. Located inside an old citadel. Breakfast at the highest level. Lovely and kind staff. Especially the manager Marozio who gives personal attention to every guest. Highly recommended. You can also enter with a large vehicle. Attention that the spa costs money and so does the parking.

Decor of room was calming and loved the city
An easier way to get to it and better sign in front and heated pool not able to use outside

Location. Ambiance. Staff. Breakfast. Help from Staff.
Would like a menu in English.
Walk from town is short but steep so be careful if you have mobility issues

Simply amazing from the moment you step through the door right up to when you leave. The two girls, Julia and Susanna on the front desk couldn’t do enough for us and enjoyed the recommendations for restaurants they provided.
The rooms are beautiful and I had some incredible rest in the comfortable bed.
Breakfasts in the morning are a feast of supreme quality.
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Hope to be back and sad to have left
not the easiest to find inside the city walls
