Netter Aufenthalt für eine Nacht bei unserer Islandrundreise

Super Hotel an einem doch etwas entlegenen Ort. Wir hatten Schlechtwetter bei der Anreise und als am nächsten Morgen die Sonne schien haben wir erst gesehen wie atemberaubend der Ort ist. Tolles Abendessen zu islandtypischen (teuren) Preisen.

Da muss man schon ein wenig suchen, aber wenn ich etwas kritisieren kann dann vl die für mich zu weichen Matratzen. Aber das ist subjektiv, also jemand anders mag das vielleicht.

unbedingt zu empfehlen....

Wunderschön in einem Tal gelegen, abgeschieden und friedlich. Eine mega Überraschung war das fantastische Abendessen, sooo lecker!!!! Das Frühstück bot eine gute Auswahl, selbst für die Kinder. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer, perfekt für eine 4-köpfige Familie.

Mega miejsce na obserwacje maskonurow! Cisza i spokój i piękny krajobraz!

Najlepszr miejsce w jakim bylismy na Islandii, pomimo, że jest bardzo skromne! Ale jest cisza, spokój, uprzejmy personel, pokoje ciepłe i czyste a co najważniejsze maskonury 10 min drogi od hotelu! Równiez swietna destylarnia i restauracja, berdzo dobrze wspominamy to miejsce na naszej round tour.

Great stay after days of camping, the price can be lower.

Our stay was pleasant, the room was clean and quite.

A couple of additional items could have been added (electric kettle, TV). The price is a little bit higher than the quality offered

Authentic Icelandic countriside experience.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good breakfast, excellent dinner. Beautiful location, but hard to reach.

It was okey for one night.

Room was good and borgarfjörður is a beautiful place.

It was really, really noisy. As some tourists were leaving 5-6 in the morning talking in the hallway it woke us up and it fellt like they were inside the room.

Puffin adventure short stay.

Large family room that was quiet, yummy breakfast that the owner ate alongside us, close to the puffins!

amazing location

the location is amazing! the views arround, good to walk or drive arround, very near to see the birds a puffins watch place. the food is outstanding! Buffet style, the breat is home made. very friendly owner and staff. good wifi.

noisy hallways, bathrooms need renovation. uncomfortable shower curtain. the hallway to the bedroom is used as a furniture storage and late cleaning in the night of the common area is very noisy in the bedrooms on the same house of the reception.

Puffins!

Great location near puffin colony and they have a webcam. Comfy beds and helpful staff

No blackout blinds, restaurant closed as not enough people but restaurant at the other hotel was great. Breakfast rather average

very comfortable stay

The rooms were very clean and the staff super friendly. The shower was strong and warm and the breakfast was great, many different options and all fresh.

I’m quite tall and the bed sheets were a bit short for me, but the rooms were warm so not a problem at all

Excellent stay!

Staff was great. Lady at night checked us in was very friendly and made us feel like we were home away from home :)

Everything was great, the only thing I didn’t like was the hot water was not consistent . It was spotty warm/ cold.

Excellent base for hiking in the area

Our room had a beautiful view on colourful mountains and two old-fashioned big and very comfortable lounge chairs! The food was good, too

Nothing special but practical

Good bed (decent size, firm mattress), good shower

Very noisy (I could hear our neighbors use the toilet and hear them talking), no facilities in the room (no kettle to make a cup of tea), room is not cosy, massive breakfast space (too big for our liking).

Great Location to see Puffins, Visit the Hidden People, and go Walking

The owner met us with a big smile and the keys as we walked in. Considering it was the weekend of a music festival that took over the whole village, and it was very busy, that was a lovely touch. The hotel is at the end of the village, but the village is so small that everything is walkable. Breakfast was good, too. We would definitely go back.
