Please note we will occasionally negotiate, if it is in the interests of both parties. Secluded family villa located in the sought after area of Coveta Fuma, near to El Campello. This perfect family villa offers spacious, light and airy accommodation on one level, with spectacular sea views to the east, south and south-west, and a private swimming pool, which has the option of being heated (see rules and policies/house rules/custom rules). Note that heating the pool can take several days depending on the water starting temperature, the air temperature, if there’s a breeze, the hours of sunshine and whether or not the pool cover/thermal blanket is in place, with the latter being the only variable that we have control over, and so it is in your interest to give us as much notice as possible.
We will always do our best to accommodate your arrival and departure requirements, whether that be an earlier or later than 4pm check-in, or an earlier or later than 10am check-out. Note that very late arrivals after 9pm can be accommodated for a late check-in fee of 100 euros, payable on arrival.
The villa has awnings for those who prefer the shade, and many cool areas of the garden in which to sit. It also benefits from hot/cold air conditioning, a large wood burner in the lounge, and has additional heaters for the cooler months. A travel cot is available on request.
Being located only a 20/25 minute drive from Alicante airport, the location could not be more perfect, and we are pleased to offer a basic welcome pack for your convenience on arrival.

My self and my family had a great holiday at this villa.
The house is 10 minutes walk from the tram that took us to El Campello (for beach or shopping) and on into Alicante (for city buzz/harbour/beach) and even out to Benidorm (we were curious!!), so everything is within easy reach.
The villa was also only 10 minutes walk from a plaza with numerous nice(ish) restaurants and watering holes.
The house was very comfortable, with air conditioning allowing us to sleep in the heat, and the pool was also great to help us cool down.
All in all, we had a great holiday, and would love to go back some day.

First impression was very good, nice clean property with plenty of room and lovely pool and garden with lovely flowers.
It was very warm during our stay and the pool was used often.
The property manager gave our party some very useful information concerning food orders.
The nearest tram stops were just over 5 minutes walk from the villa and as we did not have a car hire it was used regularly.
I have to say that the villa was very nice and well equipped and our party had a very enjoyable time there.

We have arrived home from another great stay at Villa Carlanna. Very clean, well equipped villa. We love the area as it is perfect for our family holiday- offers some restaurants in close proximity, convenience shop and easy access to mainline transport for longer excursions, if no car. Candy & Bonnie very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable at check in/out and throughout stay. No doubt will be back again!

Just home from such a wonderful stay. There were 5 adults and a three year old in our group. Lovely welcome pack awaited us which was a great gesture
Candy was a fabulous host and couldn’t do enough for us. We were able to WhatsApp her throughout our stay for questions or queries or even help with taxis.
There is online supermarket app ( Candy will send you the link) or if you’d rather walk, a shopping trolly is available and it’s 20-15 minutes to nearest supermarket which has most things, including fresh bread and pastries but is bit limited on fruit.
Supermarket next to the tram stop, which takes you into Alicante, Benidorm, El Campello all very cheap and range from 15-40 minutes on tram.
Also within same walking range is village square with nice bars a various restaurants.
Such a quiet location with incredible sea views.
Everything we needed to cook, drink, chill was available. All towels were included as well as pool towels. Bring mosquito spra as mosquitos were around.
There are lovely little bays within 10 -15 minute walks although not sandy. And water sports nearby that we would have loved to try if we had more time?
Being able to wash your clothes was a positive.
The lockable pool gate was amazing for the three year old. We felt so safe and secure in the villa.
The air conditioning in the bedrooms was perfect and enabled you to sleep soundly.

We had an amazing and relaxing time at the Vila! The views from the balconies were stunning, we loved eating out there and chilling by the ( very warm )private pool!
Communication with David was great from the outset and then latterly Candy.
Candy kindly organised our airport transfers with a local taxi firm who were very reasonably priced. She also gave us info on things to do and see and of the Mercadonba App where you can order your groceries to be delivered which was a god send!
We spent a lot of our time at a lovely clean local beach 10 minutes walk away.
Would highly recommend staying here and we hope to come back soon!

This was our second stay in this lovely villa. Very spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Made good use of the pool as the weather was very hot. Very quiet and peaceful even though there are neighbours nearby. Easy access to bars,restaurants and a small but very well stocked supermarket. Short walk to the tram if you want to travel further afield. Thanks to Candy for making us feel so welcome and recommendations of places to visit.

From the exceptional hospitality of both David and Candy to David’s delightful, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean villa, our stay was perfect.
The views are stunning and the location ideal. The small village of Coveta Fuma has everything required (including a great beach) and the tram means car hire is not necessarily required.
Without doubt, the best villa of the many we have rented!

We’ve just returned from a gorgeous week away in this lovely villa. We were a family of 6 & it was just perfect with all the amenities you’ll need. The Villa has a lovey veranda with beautiful sea views & gorgeous sunrises & sunsets. The veranda has comfy seating overlooking the pool which we paid extra to heat. The pool was large enough for kids and adults to play in with plenty of loungers & umbrellas. The Villa also has plenty of other seating areas to spread out if you want a bit of peace & quiet. We particularly liked the one area out front. The Villa was located in a quiet neighbourhood a 10 min walk to a small supermarket which did lovely warm bread & pastries a couple of bars restaurants & a small beach, although some roads are hilly. The tram stop of Coveta Fuma near the supermarket is so cheap to travel on (€9 for 6) although sometimes it’s standing room only. We used the tram to travel to the beach at El Campello, Alicante & Benidorm.
Candy was the perfect host offering that personal touch contacting us before the holiday to arrange taxi transfers to & from the airport & despite the very late hour met us at the Villa to show us around. Candy also send us details of a large supermarket if we wanted to order online, plus during the holiday sent us plenty of ideas & places to visit. And thank you to Bonnie who oversaw our departure.

Perfect holiday in a nice house, but it would be nice if you could change the cushions in the sun chairs outside ass well as the dining chairs. They are very worn out.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Villa Carlanna. The Villa was perfect for our family, it had everything you may need (even a wheelie trolly for taking heavy items home from the shop!). Air conditioning in the bedrooms was a delight at bedtime. The Villa was within walking distance of a few bars and restaurants that also has a children’s playground within view of the bars, this was great for our children (aged 2, 7, 9 and 10). We found no need to hire a car, we used the tram, which was within walking distance of the Villa, for days out in El Campello and Benidorm, it was very efficient. David was super quick at replying to any questions I had and Candy was very welcoming, she checked us in and out very quickly. We are missing the beautiful sea views already and can not wait to return. Thank you David and Candy.

We have just arrived back from a wonderful stay at Villa Carlanna, the Villa is exactly what we hoped for, well equipped with everything we needed and more, the swimming pool was superb especially during what was an extremely warm stay, the air-conditioned bedrooms were an absolute godsend when you were in need of a break from the sun and the views out to sea were outstanding and perfect for sitting down for a family meal or a few beers!!
Candy was very attentive to all of our needs providing some great information to all the local attractions before we had even arrived! She was excellent and we can safely say it's the best experience we've had before and during a stay, we felt very well looked after.
The location of the Villa is good and the tram service is great for exploring and easy to use, we ventured into El Campello on a few occasions but our favorite stop was Villajoyosa which was beautiful!!
The local square has a few nice bars/restaurants (Singapore Garden was amazing) and the local shop has all you need.
Overall a superb stay which the whole family enjoyed!!!

The property is well equiped and maintained. It is located in a quiet residental area and has great sea views. It is in a good location with local pubs, restaurants and a shop within 10 mins walk. Strongly recommend hiring a car to explore the area.
The property mamager (Candy) was very helpful and responsive. We had a great hoilday and would love to go back again.

We stayed for two weeks at the beginning July. On arrival we were met by Bonnie and shown around. It was extremely hot during our stay so the air conditioning in the bedrooms was much needed. The pool is a real gem with a lovely temperature and private. There are other villas very close by, but they don’t interfere with your views out to sea. Issues raised during our stay were quickly sorted out by Candy and Bonnie.
It should be noted that whilst there are local bars not far away the walk to them is down/up quite a steep hill. The pool area would benefit from a second umbrella although there are other sheltered areas around the Villa.

We had a lovely stay in Villa Carlanna. A really well equipped kitchen, plenty of shade options for outdoor areas, air con in the bedrooms is very efficient, pool area is very nice…they have thought of all of your potential needs, even down to a wheeled shopping bag for market days etc (you really should use it- everyone has one!). Check in and check out we’re very friendly and speedy- we were given lots of guidance and links for places to go and invaluable advice on where to spend time before our late flight home, couldn’t ask for more

Lovely located property. Tram nearby so able to travel easily up and down the coast. Its a very quiet neighbourhood with just a couple of restaurants 10 minute walk away. Everything you need for a relaxing pleasant stay is there.

A lovely villa with an absolutely incredible view directly to the sea! We spent a relaxing holiday by the pool barbecuing and admiring the view.
The villa was well equipped and there was everything we needed and there was plenty of room for six people, although we spent a lot of our time outside sitting, laughing and playing.
Alicante and Benidorm were easily accessible from the tram stop (Amerador), which was about a ten minutes’ walk away from the villa, and we visited both places during our one-week holiday.
There was also a small grocery store (Supermercado Udaco) and a few restaurants nearby. We visited the grocery store every day to replenish our food stock and on the last night we ate at a nearby restaurant (Restaurant Cala Blanc) - the food was good and affordable!
All in all, a wonderful holiday in a wonderful milieu!

We had an amazing time at this wonderful villa. Superb villa, clean and tidy with amazing views and everything we needed and more. The pool was a good size and we had it heated which was needed as we went early April. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday. We will be booking again in the near future.

The property was clean and well equipped. Lovely views and the pool a good size. We didn't hire a car as we had read about the tram stop being nearby. It's a ten min walk, although hilly, an easy walk. We found the tram, cheap, clean, cool and easy to use. We went as far as Benidorm (Aqualandia) and El Campello in the other direction. We explored different beaches along the coast, rock shoes are a good idea for the more local coves. Candy was a great source of information and very helpful, she organised our transfer from the airport to our villa and back again. All in all a great holiday.

We loved staying in this lovely villa. The layout is perfect. Very comfortable beds. Lovely shaded terrace. The pool was perfect. Candy was really helpful, met us at the villa on arrival, is available for any questions. Communication with David was also great.
The villa is about 5-10 mins walk from some lovely restaurants. The tram was really close and great for visiting other towns along the coast. We would highly recommend.

The villa was splendid, we had no complaints whatsoever. The sea views from the property were breathtaking, you have to see (sea 🙃) it to believe it. As we didn't hire a car we relied on the tram service which was reliable, frequent and reasonably priced. The villa had everything we needed and more. No hesitancy on giving it a 5* rating.

We stayed for a week end of May 2022 myself and 5 friends. The villa Carlanna was beautiful. Fabulous pool and 3 spacious bedrooms with air conditioning. Candy the property manager was really attentive and gave us lots of information about the area and things to do around about. It would be better to hire a car if you want to see the sights and have days out. But we enjoyed restful days by the pool and taking the tram just 10 minutes walk away for days out to the many beautiful beaches and towns nearby. Lovely plaza close by with a selection of bars and restaurants and a beach with paddle boards, canoes and boat trips also 10 minutes away. Would highly recommend it and would love to come back.

We had a great time. Very nice and warm welcome by Candy. She gave great tips to visit, for different interests and helped with all our questions, as did the owner. The house was beautifull, with different lounge sets, both in the sun and in the shadow, great! Very nice pool! The view is amazing.

Great communication from booking, upon arrival and throughout our stay. Amazing villa, very homely and everything you could ever need. This villa is about 30 mins from Alicante airport, 20 mins from Alicante itself and a 10 min walk from local bars and a mini mart.
Candy made check in really easy and was a pleasure to deal with. The villa is a decent size for 6 adults, with an excellent terrace and pool area - unfortunately the weather wasn't really warm enough to enjoy the pool or the barbecue. The decor is starting to look a little tired, but other than that it has everything you'd need.

The villa is spacious, clean and well equipped. The seaviews are even more outstanding than they appear on the website. The tram into El Campello is regular and easy to use. There are a few bars and restaurants well within walking distance (very friendly staff). We have to give special mention to Candy, the villa manager who went out of her way to help us obtain our covid lab results prior to flying home.

Very enjoyable stay
Candy and David are awesome and will help you, in any way they can, also very quick in responding on questions.
The villa is very nice in a quit area, for good night sleeps, the birds in the morning adds to a peacefull stay, the veranda is just great we spun a lot of time there.
Bars and restaurants and some nice beaches not to far away.
The pool was awesome with plenty of beds and chairs.
Also a nice bbq place for nice evening meals.
Thanks for everything David and Candy, when in the area we will curtenly book again without any doubt.

We recently stayed at this property and it is a large clean and quiet villa in an exclusive part of this coastline and thoroughly enjoyed it. The area itself is very quiet and those with families might need to ensure they can keep some food in as the opening times and menu of the local restaurants seems to change daily however if you are looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy a stunning view with your own spacious villa and swimming pool then this is definitely one to consider.The villa itself is a little dated but is clean and has the latest appliances etc so it is more than suited for visiting families and the pool is fantastic during the very hot days and the sun lovers will adore the various garden areas and sitting outside to eat on the veranda. It has AC throughout the bedrooms and a large fan in the living area and as it was 35 deg when we visited it we have to admit it was a bit too hot to sit in the living area as there wasn't a breath of wind however the coolness of the rooms more than made up for this and great for sleeping.In truth the only negatives were small ones such as one day there was a noisy neighbour with a chop saw ( but a total one off), the ants were pretty lively and there seemed to be warnings relating to extra charges - None of which were applied so don't let this put you off as presume its to prevent people being daft in the villa - however these are all minor compared to the simply stunning views on 2 sides of the villa straight out to sea and really wish we had booked there for longer. I'd strongly recommend getting a car as it was great to travel about but there are a couple brilliant coves and beaches a few minutes away from the house as well as some stunning big mansions on top of the hillside if you just fancy a local holiday.From the moment we landed until the day we left the owners representatives were on hand and even left a bottle of bubbly for us so they really work hard to make you feel at home and it made a big difference .definitely recommend

The villa was lovely and clean on arrival and were shown where everything was, by the property managers Maureen and Brian. The villa is advertised as secluded, but there are properties on 2 sides. Although it is not overlooked. The villa definitely needs air cond. in the living room. We could not feel any sea breeze and when we came back from a day out had to use the bedrooms to cool down. We did not feel comfortable sitting on the verandah at night as we had been warned about mosquitoes, although we were given a spray to use The villa was advertised as having basic sky package. 90% of the time we could not use the tv as there was no signal irrespective of which channel we were trying to watch. We tried at various times during the day to use the tv and had the same message. This was a real disappointment.The pool was lovely and the walk to the tram stop and shop , although hilly, was not as bad as I was expecting, although we were getting slower by the end of the week!

We flew in from the Far East, so very tired. The location, so close to the airport, was a godsend. We were all wrapped up in bed within two hours of landing, and the villa's accommodation was tremendous. Very comfortable, with a lovely pool and a nice view across the rooftops to the sea.
The villa is located very closely to the marina and there are plenty of bars and restaurants to keep the family happy. We are also very accomplished golfers and there are several excellent courses within a short driving distance from the apartment.
The area is quiet and family-friendly and yet the locale still buzzes in the evening. The weather was scorching hot (just what we wanted) and there is a lovely, relaxed feel to the apartment. All mod cons are provided and we will definitely be back for a return trip!

We stayed in the villa over the easter half term and it was great I would highly recommend to anyone.
The villa is in a convenient quiet location but within walking distance to the main coastal train line, we did hire a car but as you are so close to the train station this wouldn’t be necessary. Within walking distance of the villa is also a supermarket, along with a few restaurants and there is a great children's play area just in front of the restaurants which my little ones loved.
The villa is very spacious and immaculately clean and has every facility you would possibly need. We particularly made use of the outdoor barbecue area and the pool is fantastic and very safe for my 2 children aged 1 and a half and 5, fenced off with locks on the gates. The villa has 2 modern bathrooms with showers in both and air conditioning throughout.
The villa is within walking distance to a small pebbly beach although we preferred to travel into El Campello (5 minutes by car) as there is a huge immaculate beach there with lots of eateries and plenty of shops.
We also enjoyed day trips to Benidorm (25 mins in the car) to the Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia water park and Mundomar with the dolphin show at the top is definitely worth a visit.
We all enjoyed our week and are definitely looking to stay here again next year, I would recommend this villa to anyone.

Having previously stayed here in Summer 2011 I had no hesitation in booking this for my winter vacation. The location is ideally suited for either a peaceful relaxing stay in a traditional Spanish setting with the beach close by or the local train can whisk you to bright lights of the resorts. short distances to the airports too.
The weather was perfect in January,around 18-20c allowing my golf handicap to improve marginally .
The villa itself was immaculate and extremely spacious with all the amenities you would expect at home. Many an evening was spent firing up a bbq and enjoying the still warm air.
The village itself has a supermarket a few minutes walk away and the local square has a few restaurants and bars .
I would recommend this villa to both families and couples, and look forward to coming back in 2013 >

We were looking for somewhere that was perfect for an early summer getaway for my wife and I along with our elderly parents and two children. El Campello provided us with our perfect family holiday. The kids played in and around the pool most days while were at close hand relaxing on the veranda overlooking the ocean. We barbecued with the family most nights before taking a leisurely stroll to the local bars while our parents preferred the tranquil moments watching the sunset(babysitting!!!)poolside. The seven days flew in so next time we will need to stay a little longer. The olds might even take a longer extended winter break next year!! Thanks El campello!!!!!
