Lovely budget friendly option

Perfect location for us - we stayed for a wedding nearby. Gouvia is small but lots of shops and restaurants within a few mins walking, as well as the beach also within a 5 min walk. Staff were friendly and breakfast was also nice. One review said no fruit, but I can happily report there was melon / watermelon every day on offer as well as cooked options and pastries.

The shower wouldn’t stay in the wall fixture and was sometimes quite cold but not a major problem.

Very good

The hotel was clean and in the perfect location just a road down from the buzzling area of guovia that's packed with restuarants and bars. Staff were very helpful and the pool is an awesome addition!

They make you throw away your dirty toilet paper in a bin and not in the loo which I wasn't expecting and the water is very chlorinated so you can't drink it. Breakfast was a bit limited but OK.

Eveything went well. The staff is very nice and caring. Breakfast is fine. Romm is large.

Gouvia is situated between the sea and a road. So when the window is open, we hear the sound of the road. That being said, most of the time the window is closed. And when on the balcony, the noise is not a nuisance.

Very good

The owner is extremely nice. We had to push our vacation a year due to COVID, and they agreed with no issue. They helped us get rides to and from the airports, explained about the busses, and suggested things to do. The rooms were very clean, better than the standard we've seen at family run hotels in Greek Islands.

The breakfast is somewhat basic. My daughter didn't find something to eat, though I was OK.

Good location and perfect for a a short stay but needs updating for the money paid.

Nice breakfast with a clean pool and the location is very good for catching buses to other parts of the island. The owners were welcoming and the place was nice and quiet.

The room was quite small and the bathroom needed updating.

Pricy for what you get

The swimming pool was a really nice treat. Location is perfect! The breakfast was simple but tasty.

We booked a room for 3 people. We got a double bed and some kind of folding bed for our daughter (17). It was not comfortable. The room was too small for three people - especially regarding the price. There were a lot of mosquitos in our room and the hallway. Some kind of repellent should be used. Overal pricy.

Very small rooms. Old, worn and gray towels. Only 4 small bottles of shampoo and 4 small bottles of shower gel for 4 people for 10 days. Very poor and poor quality breakfast (eggs, a type of cheese, sausages, a type of ham, olives, yogurt, milk with cereals). No fresh fruit of any kind.

Very nice and full breakfast with many choices. The staff was very helpful, kind and keen to help. It was a very nice and friendly place.

The hotel was clean and very good for the price. Breakfast buffet was great. The best is the staff. They are super nice and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The vibe is of a small family run place.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Breakfast included. Parking for cars next to the hotel. The property is located in the centre of the town - 3 minutes from streets with restaurants.

The hot water wasn’t that hot, more like “lukewarm” but ok, warm enough for us.

Fantastically hospitable

The staff and the owner were really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. All Covid precautions were in place and the hotel was super clean. Can highly recommend

Just the ticket.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, as were the owner and his wife. Buffet breakfast was served by the staff, it was plentiful and you could have as little or as much as you wanted. The WiFi in the hotel was free of charge and was excellent. It was ideally situated for people like me, who don't drive as it was on a main bus route out of Corfu town.

The toilet bin was only emptied every other day, when the room was serviced. This seemed strange in such hot weather and with Coronavirus around.
