We had a wonderful week swimming, hanging out on the expansive dock and playing games in the basement!

We had a great time in this beautiful house. The host was wonderful with easy communication and a lovely attitude to ensuring we were comfortable. Highly recommend it.

House was perfect to accommodate all your family and friends. Plenty of space and things to do.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake Anna house. We had plenty of room to sleep, play, prepare meals and eat all together!

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our group of 13 and the setting was ideal. The cool November weather prevented much water activity but at least one person took a kayak out and had a great time. We had no problems and were appreciative of the willingness to accommodate 3 dogs -- a plus that is very hard to find. The appliances we used all worked. It was nice to find that all the light switches were labelled -- something we haven't found at other rentals over the years. We would certainly use this place again.

It's just like it looks in the pictures, and the backyard/lake view might be even better. With 12 people we didn't really even use all of the space well. Communication was really great.

My friends and I stayed here last year, and loved the location so much we came back this year!

We came to the house for a weekend retreat and it was lovely. House was very clean and beautiful- great access to the lake and a beautiful bonfire pit.

Our (very large) family really enjoyed our stay. Amy was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. The house is very spacious and everyone enjoyed the Kajaks, ping pong table and the huge fire pit.

There are a lot of amenities at this beautiful and clean home. Amy's house was perfect for our big group (13). We loved the lay out of the dining tables. It is really difficult to find a place that allows so many people to eat together, so this place was perfect for us. With large parties, you need to cook a lot. So I loved that the kitchen has two ovens, and a grill. The view was beautiful in the backyard, with the dock. I have never seen a fire pit that big at someone's home before, and we made good use of it. Although we didn't play with any of the games, we thought it was cool that she had so many retro video game consoles. Amy was an attentive host, and very responsive to any calls/questions we had. The main things we would have liked to be different are the check in (4pm), and check out (10AM) times. With a 4pm check in, we wished we could have checked out later at least. It's a nice place afterall, so we wish we could have had a little more time there.

First of all, I would like to thank Amy for being so professional and polite. I really appreciate the way she followed up with me. We were all together 22 of them including adults, teens and kids.
This place is beautiful, spacious and exactly what I was looking for a big group. We do this every MLK weekend and will definitely visit next year.

A group of friends and I always plan a trip each winter to get out of the hustle and bustle of the DMV life and absolutely love coming to this house. We’ve stayed here now 3 times and each time is truly more enjoyable than the next! The house is a very fair price for the amount of bedrooms and amenities jr offers! The kitchen is very well stocked and huge, making it easy to prepare meals and snacks for large groups. We loved the basement and the guys had a ton of fun playing pool while the girls ran into the hot tub! Very clean home overall and the property itself is well manicured. We love coming to this property every year and have truly never had any issues. Cannot recommend this house more!

We had a great time at this property. The highlight is the outdoor area - equipped with a volleyball net, a firepit, dock and hot tub. We had little kids with us who enjoyed running around and watching the boats pass by.
If you are looking for a place to bring together a group, this place is great. Just be prepared to bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, sheets (only fitted provided), and extra trash bags. We came with these things so we didn’t have issues.

We spent a week here and had a blast. The home met all of our needs, just had to bring clothes and food. Home is very well furnished/equipped, tons of games and we used everything: pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, hot tub, firepit, golf cart, dock and beach. Amy was great. 5 stars all the way around, thanks.

Excellent location, house, and property manager
This property was perfect for the event I had for my work celebration. The property manager was excellent in working with me to allow for hosting this event. The views were beautiful, there is so much to do on property, and everyone had the perfect day on the lake. I highly recommend this location.

Great, but dirty hot tub…
Beautiful property and overall stay. However the listing promises a hot tub which the property does have, however it was not very clean and no one ended up going in because of this.. however the basement, the bedrooms and the property as a whole was very clean and we all had a great time.

Great getaway
We enjoyed a family gathering (10) very comfortably at this Lake Anna home. Home has more than ample entertainment - games, pool table, ping pong, hot tub etc.
Everyone felt like they had enough space for privacy and large spaces for everyone to gather. The property owner was very attentive and welcoming.

Spring break
Overall, this was a good place. It had multiple amenities which included a great fire pit and kayaks–2 available with life jackets. It had a hot tub, however we did not use it so I cannot comment on it.
I would have appreciated some amenities though like a coffeemaker or at least a hot water Kettle. The description did mention that we were to bring our toiletries like soap which we did. However that was assigned to 1 person. Therefore people who arrived earlier, did not have any soap to use in the bathrooms. At least availability of a soap at the entrance bathroom would be appreciated. But my greatest disappointment was in the overall quality of the place for the price charged. We paid $750 per night. The carpets were old and worn out. They did not appear to be clean. There was overwhelming smell of a freshener in the basement that actually did not allow it to be a comfortable place to hang out. The cabinets in the kitchen were not very clean. I expected better quality for the cost.
That said the location was great. The fire pit and the kayaking made up for all and we had a great time. The property manager was great and communicated promptly.

Enjoyable stay over the holidays.
This was a large enough house for 9 adults and 4 toddler/infants. We enjoyed the property, fire pit, sunsets in the lake and salt water hot tub. Amy was easy to communicate with and quick to resolve issues as they arose. A few things to note for large groups, there are really only 3 bathrooms to shower/bathe in; considering the extensive checkout cleaning process we felt the house should have been cleaner upon our arrival as we found we were cleaning things that were dirty prior to our stay.

Great place for family together
We had a 4 generation mixed age group from 88 days to 88 years. Kitchen was spacious and well equipped. Great spaces for visiting & play, inside & out. We kayaked, bonfired (bring your own), and had family game tournaments. Plus more puzzles and games than I’ve ever seen in a rental!!!
Downside of no paper products was well disclosed but a starter roll of TP and paper towels would be recommended to host.

Great Lake spot for a large group!
A large gathering of friends, 17 people including 5 year olds, stayed. This place is great! So much room and activities for all ages. The beach and dock are so nice. The fire pit is enormous, you could have like 4 different fires in it lol. The house is so big that we didn't feel crowded at all. The host even came out on Saturday to look at the hot tub after we expressed concerns about the sand in it. Overall a great weekend in a wonderful house. Thanks!

Beautiful property with so much space!
The house was perfect for our group of 10 friends! Everyone had their own bed and we were happy to find the bunk beds were gone (if we’d brought kids that might have been different). The dock was perfect for relaxing during the day and the fire pit was well stocked a huge for night time star gazing!
Plenty of indoor space for meals and nice open kitchen so the cook wasn’t left out of the conversation.
We look forward to returning with our families soon!

Good times!,,
The house was large with plenty of room to move around and have quiet time if needed. Location on the lake was very nice and close to a small marina and restaurant. The house was tastefully decorated but perhaps more furniture then needed. Hundreds of tapes, dvd,s, puzzles etc were available. Master Bedroom was very nice but the bathroom needed some finishing work. Outside deck was very large and adequately equipped. Games room in the basement was large and split into two areas. The dock and deck. Wood needs a little TLC , though very enjoyable. We had a wreat family vacation and a lot of great memories made

Great Place, Great Host!
Walking into the house we were wowed by the spaciousness. The pictures don't convey how big the house is. There were 10 of us in the group and we were all comfortable, with plenty of room to spare. The view of the lake is spectacular. The deck has ample seating to relax and enjoy the view and has a gas grill. The swing on the boat house roof was a nice place to sit as well. The house has just about everything you need. A closet full of puzzles and games (for kids and adults); tons of DVDs; classic video game systems and games, multiple TVs. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils, microwave, electric stove with oven and a convection oven. All the drawers and cabinets are marked, as well as the all of switches that control the lights, fans and fireplace. It was a little chilly in the evenings so we had to turn on the heat. The heating system is great and it didn.t take long for the house to warm up. Plenty of hot water, even with multiple people showering and the dishes being washed all at the same time. The hot tub was fantastic! The temperature was perfect. We've done multiple trips as a group and this was the first location where everything worked properly and all of the amenities met our needs. Amy is a great host! She was in contact the entire time starting from the booking all the way through to the end of our weekend. We definitely want to go back again!

Fantastic home and property! We will be back!
A group of 14 of us stayed at this property as a college reunion as we are all spread across the east coast now. The house was absolutely stunning and the property it was on was even more beautiful than the photos! There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and never feel like we were cramped. The kitchen was very well stocked and the beds in the rooms were very comfortable. There were always plenty of places for us to all sit and hang out, eat meals together, and be outside as a group. I would highly recommend booking this house as it is a great deal for the money spent! Amy was also very responsive and made the check-in process very easy. Thjank you again!

You are in for a treat!
What a lakeside paradise! We instantly felt the stress leave our shoulders as we pulled into the driveway. The property is exactly as pictured (possibly even better) and is IMMACULATE. We had six people and two dogs in our party and there was space for everyone to have privacy for doing remote work/schoolwork/ Zen coffee moments on the dock. The firepit was well stocked and easy for the novice survivalist to get a warming fire going for the chilly evenings. The game room was exceptional place for our adult children to connect. The dogs had a great time - be prepared to keep them on leash, though. There are just too many smells to follow and squirrels to chase! We loved the foggy early morning walks in the neighborhood - so quiet and peaceful. Internet was fast and consistent throughout our stay. Kitchen well stocked. Overall, it was one of the best rentals we've stayed in in a long while and we would love to come back.
