Top Lage

Superb
Very nice Pension right next to the start of the Bodethal Canyon, the deepest Canyon of Germany, complete with a hiking path, as well as many other hiking possibility's right from the frontdoor, The lady who runs the pension is very friendly and likes a good chat or two, also very knowledgeable of the area and gave loads of great advise among many interesting insights to the past and present of the area, should note thou that she doesn't speak English (English wasn't among the subjects thought in the schools of the DDR...) so if you don't know any German it could be a little difficult maybe, good working wifi. Really liked the house and my room, old fashioned but very well kept and extremely clean with all the usual comforts (as well as a very cool 3 in 1 toaster, waterheater and coffemaker :D ) , great breakfast and parking just outside, and very very calm location, there are not much around but there is a good restaurant just across the street.
Not a negative for me but international non-german speaking guests should be advised that the owner doesn't speak English
