This lovely, comfortable home made us feel like we were experiencing the history of Trinity without sacrificing modern comforts. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The beds were hotel quality and very comfortable. Everything is a short walk away, and Trinity is also a great base from which to explore the rest of the Bonavista peninsula. Such a wonderful, unique place to stay. We will never forget it.

This cozy cottage overlooking the beautiful town of Trinity was absolutely perfect for our family of four. It was so quaint and had so much character, I cannot overstate its appeal. The eclectic mix of artwork added to its charm. Thank you, Danielle, for creating such a memorable stay!

Beautiful old house with loads of character and charm! Great location overlooking Trinity with views of the lighthouse and the harbour. As an added touch we received a beautiful Adam Young coffee table book as a complimentary gift during our stay. We would gladly rebook again!

The location was fantastic, walkable to everything in Trinity. House is clean and charming with loads of character and the kitchen was well stocked with every thing (utensils etc.) you’d need to cook your meals or bar b que. The deck is great overlooking Trinity and a view of the ocean. Highly recommend also seeing some shows at the Rising Tide Theatre which is a 5 minute walk from the house.

Everything about our stay was perfection. The home is so beautiful and charming. The location is great and the views are beautiful. We would absolutely recommend Rebecca's home to any visiting Trinity. The beds were comfortable and the home was very clean. Thank you for a great stay!

Everything was terrific. Warm, cozy and user friendly. The only thing that surprised us is that the third bedroom
was really a loft , near the other two bedrooms. It was in the open. Otherwise we had a great stay in a great home.

We saw lots of whales and a whole island of puffins. Weather was sunny and warm with a nice comfortable home to return to in the evening.

We had a delightful two nights in Trinity. The home was comfortable and absolutely adorable. The view is breathtaking. I only wish we could have known more about the history of the home. We would absolutely stay here again.

If you love the character and charm of old houses with all the modern amenities this is for you! The owners have done an amazing job keeping the home true to its age … it really felt like I was taken back in time. Aside from it’s obvious charm the house was clean, comfortable with all the amenities you need. Who has a fireplace in the largest bathroom I’ve ever seen!! Situated on a hill you have incredible views no matter which way you look. The whole town is walking distance and makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time …. The host was very responsive. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your splendid home!

We really didn't like our stay in this house.
Firstly, we were informed that there were earwigs and humidity bugs when we called from Clarenville. I had read in the comments that there were some, but I didn't realize how many. In one evening, we killed around 50. It was horrible, they were everywhere: on the counter, in the curtains, on the tables and all over the floor. Normally I would have expected around ten, but we were nowhere near that number. Secondly, the local person told us that all the houses in Trinity had this problem. However, we rented two other houses this week and we found no insects...
There is a strong smell of damp in the house, especially under the kitchen sink; the smell was sometimes unbearable.
Cleaning in some areas had not been done for a very long time, which meant that the house, in general, was very dirty.
Finally, among the broken windows, there is one that is slightly offset, so it becomes sharp. It's not very safe.
I would have liked to be informed in advance of the real condition of the premises, because I would not have rented it. We lost a lot of money and a day of travel finding another place to stay. It was a frustrating experience. I wrote to the owner after my trip, but i didn't have any return.

A stunning view of Trinity from the comfort of the living room in this lovely and spacious cottage style home in Trinity. It felt like stepping into a family cottage handed down through the generations with bits and pieces from every decade for a hundred years. We loved the old cottage feel with the comforts of today (internet, wifi, heat and plumbing!) The location was perfect for our 24 hour stay. We appreciated the coffee, tea and sugar in the kitchen, the abundance of clean towels and soap in the bathroom and the spacious bedrooms. Thank you for providing a home away from home for one night in your beautiful, historic town.

The property is an authentic old home in a very authentic community. Enjoyed the area very much.

Clean and cozy cottage feel. Enjoyable and comfortable. Some squeaky hinges could need some wd40 but everything was great. Able to use the bbq which was extremely nice!

Fine old house near all the attractions

We have never stayed in a historic home before, and this one is so very charming, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect for our adventures on the Bonavista Peninsula; and we really enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants, shops, and all that Trinity has to offer from this house. The views from this house were amazing as well. Check in and out were very easy, communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommend.

Wish we could have spent more time exploring the town but feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend two nights at this property.

We felt welcomed right away and really appreciated Dot flexibility on our late arrival and helping us find the place. Thanks to Rebecca for the suggestion on place to visite in the area. Especially Random Passage that we wouldn’t have found without Rebecca’s recommendation and that the all family really enjoyed 😁 . We really enjoyed staying in this lovely house

Clean, comfortable spot in a beautiful scenic town. Would go again!

Pros: great location, picture perfect views of Trinity; beautifully restored property stepping back in time with gorgeous artwork and artifacts on display; lots of kitchen supplies and lots of linens - (though a keurig coffee pot would be nice).
Cons: earwigs! lots of earwigs; uncomfortable single beds in loft area (I'd suggest comfy mattress toppers for each bed and the placement of a curtain rod on the side of the outside bed and at the bottom, fastened to the chimney in that area, to create privacy at night, while being drawn back during the day to provide an air of whimsy); a more updated bathroom upstairs would be ideal.

We loved this saltbox home, especially the main living area with it's chimney in the middle. There are 2 private bedrooms with comfortable queen beds and 2 additional single beds in the upstairs area. These may be more suitable to children but our entire group of 4 adults were managed fine which each having their own bed. The deck and the view off the house are amazing. Instructions to the house were perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Trinity and would have liked if we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

Our family of six enjoyed this charming and historic house overlooking Trinity. It had great views of the town and harbor. The house is well preserved and has wonderful woodwork and lovely decor. The location was great for walking around Trinity and hiking the Gun Hill Trail. It also provided easy access to the beautiful Skerwink Trail and other Bonavista sites.
4.8
We really enjoyed our stay here. The old house is delightful, comfortable and had everything we needed. Location is excellent. Trinity had some great shops, restaurants and historic buildings to visit, and nearby Elliston, Bonavista and the Skerwink Trail were all well worth the stop. Would stay here again!

This is a wonderful place to stay! Somewhat rustic (in fitting with the small village of Trinity). The house has everything you could imagine ever needing - from cooking equipment/supplies to laundry facilities - Everything! The beds are very comfortable, a great shower, and the book library is incredible. Plus, did I mention the deck that looks out over the town? Highly recommended!

We could tell it was an old house. I wondered what the history was. Thanks for the Young studio book. Renovations good to do. Thought the twin beds should be walled off to make another bedroom.
Great location.

Adorable salt box house with an authentic feel. We were all very comfortable with lots of space to relax and lovely views of the town. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the lighthouse with the fog rolling in. The house was well equipped and thoughtfully decorated in a local theme. Within short walking distance of great cafes and restaurants. We appreciated the advance information about checkin and local amenities. Highly recommend.

Hope this lovely old home is taken care of for many more guests to enjoy! Thank you Rebecca. We truly enjoyed our stay.

This cottage had beautiful views from all windows! It’s beautiful inside. It is rustic with all conveniences. The floors creek as you walk around and are reminded of the history here. Beds were very comfortable. it’s close to everything. Right behind is the Eriksen Premises where we had a lovely breakfast. Also has a great gift shop!! The driveway was a little tricky but host made us aware of how to handle it! It was nice to have the driveway beside the house! It seemed to us that Newfoundlanders drive a little too fast around corners. I’m sure they are used to it but we weren’t!!! The host left a complementary book for us! We would definitely stay at this VRBO again. Lovely.
