Beautiful property just on the beach with lovely snorkelling at your doorstep.
Fantastic sunsets every night from the patio.
Everyone very friendly and helpful especially Smiley!
Property manager Mike very quick to respond to any questions we had.
The lady who cleans also very nice and helpful.
Would recommend to anyone who loves the beach, snorkelling. Cocktails from the beach bar next door.

You will not be disappointed staying here. Excellent comms from initial booking process to pre arrival on the island and whilst you are here. Thank you Mike, the best, most attentive property manager I have ever had.
Thank you too Smiley and Francis, house and ground keeping.
Bedrooms MORE than big enough, each with en-suite. Living area is bijou, beautifully decorated with a very modern but classic, beach house vibe
The outside decked area, seating, pool, chill out zone and outdoor kitchen SUPERB
Your own beach access, next door a beach club that serves fabulous food for those days/nights in and the boys on the beach could not do enough for my family, thank you Chris
Yes it’s Highway1 but you are in an enviable position, central for all the west and south coast. Bus stop literally outside for when you want the fun of the reggae bus, a must plus walking distance to Cabane and Cliff, supermarket and 5 mins in the car to Holestown.
We are a family who love Barbados, travelling with a teenager and older son plus daughter in law. This is perfect for that mix of a group, and I’m already checking for our return!
Thank you Lucy

Thank you for sharing your villa! House manager Mike and his wife Shakila-great! Smiley - great! Any requests they will assist! Villa-located on main road, behind secure gate. Once it closes, private paradise! Outdoor living space-fantastic. Plenty of lounge chairs/seating areas. Main dining outside, under overhang. Villa-amazing views of the ocean while also private from beach below. Elevated and privacy protected by shrubbery but not toddler proof. Access to beach through private gate. About 4 steps down from gate to the beach. Ocean beautiful/calm for 5 days; great for all ages/abilities. Wavy for 3. 2 of those were fun for my kids; boogie boarding, riding the waves. 3rd wavy day was wild but fun to watch! Upscale beach bar next door is lovely and owned by villa owners. Mike manages the bar and as such you will have Lounge chairs set up for you every day and beach bar service. The music is subtle. Food is excellent. Villa has what you need. 2 BR upstairs (14 stairs) ea. with private bath.1 BR downstairs; shared main bath. Small kitchen prep area, island seating;small living area. BRs have AC. We left it off all day and opened Villa glass doors. Turned AC on for bedtime and kicked in quickly. Only down side I would say is street noise. Really depends on your sensitivity/tolerance. You don’t hear it at the beach but can in the outdoor area and/or at night in BRs. Main road runs along the coast & villas r on the beach sooo. Jordans grocer walkable.Bus service at gate! Go4it!

From the moment that you arrive you will be blown away. The property is accessed through an electric gate and you are transported into your own Oceanfront Resort. There is an outdoor grill, two outdoor seating areas, a private gate to the beach, and a luxurious pool in the center of the courtyard. The pool was the center of our time spent at the house. There is something very relaxing about hearing the waves crashing just feet away from the cool refreshing water of your own private pool. All three bedrooms are air conditioned, and the shared areas of the house (living room & kitchen) are not. But there are lots of doors to open up to let the ocean breeze in. The master bedroom has a walkout balcony to watch the beautiful sunsets. The Wi-Fi in the house was fast and reliable. The TV in the living room works and we were able to plug our fire stick into it. The stove is electric, and the fridge is a large American style unit. The house comes with three full baths. All had great water pressure. The house management team (Mike, Smiley, and Shantia) we're all excellent and took great care of us. Mike arranged airport tansportation to bring one of our guests in, and coordinated several other solutions for us as well. The Bikini Beach Bar is located immediately beside the house. It is a very chic Oceanfront bar. However, we did not spend any time there because we had our own private resort. The beach in front of the house is small, but very beautiful. There were a few stormy days tha

With the easy access to the beach, the beach bar next door and the private pool, we felt we could have stayed there for weeks. Near plenty of good restaurants. We loved our stay at the villa.

Lovely house with direct access to the beach, nicely decorated, clean, with very good quality domestic appliances and well equipped kitchen. One of the best feature of the house is the different outside areas: dining area outside sitting room, pool area, sofas and table with big parasol next to the pool and barbecue area. Good location, within walking distance to a supermarket and local restaurants. Manager helpful and promptly available when needed. I thoroughly recommend this property.

The property is exactly as promised. Mike the manager was extremely responsive and Richelle, the housekeeper was perfect.

Family fun
We had a fantastic week at the Indigo Bay villa. It is truly magical being so close to the beach and listening to the waves crash against the rocks. Mikey the property manager was incredible, he couldn’t have done enough to help us. Would highly recommend

ok
the Villa was ideal except for being next to the main road and the pool area being smothered by diesel fumes! What’s more the beach had been eroded by strong currents such that it was challenging to climb down onto the beach and even more precarious to climb back to the Villa. Furthermore their was considerable noise from the development of the property next door (owned by the Villa owners) created a lot of noise and oversight of the property causing invasion of privacy! I’d recommend updating the pictures on line to show the view from the deck outside the living room looking across the pool so that the new bar next door adjacent to the parking space is In the shot.

Beautiful beach side villa
Very well appointed villa, beautifully furnished with everything you could need. Outdoor space is very large. Paddleboards and sea kayak were great. Right on the beach, lovely little bay with good snorkelling on the reef. Walking distance to Il Tempio and Cariba - both great, and only a few minutes drive to Holetown (or bus stop outside). The house manager sorted some shopping for us which was there when we arrived. Only downside was road noise in the two smaller bedrooms next to the road - occasional car at night and buses etc from early morning. But the location and villa facilities outweigh that. Would love to stay there again.

SPECTACULAR!
This property is nothing short of amazing. I was extremely pleased that I found this gem for a milestone birthday celebration with friends. Everything and more than I expected--the photos and description very accurate. The view, the beach, the house, the attentiveness, the restaurants. It was a trip of a lifetime. Thank you Lucy and Mike for making our trip so memorable. I hope to see you again!

We could not have asked for more…
We had an exceptional holiday at Lucy’s house in Fitts village, Barbados. There are many highlights to the house, the most obvious one being the fantastic terrasse which includes many sections: the very nice pool area, the facade to the beach area to appreciate the sun/sunsets, the shaded lunch area, the large BBQ area, and another lounge area with a large parasol. Location is also exceptional, in between Holetown and Bridgetown, and an easy ride to anywhere on the island, including being close to many good restaurants (La Cabane, Quattro Pasi, Cala Roca, Il Tempio) and a supermarket. Lucy and her staff were great all along, Lucy was especially patient with us before we even arrived because our trip was at risk because of COVID restrictions back home. Any issues we had during the stay were quickly handled. Other reviews have mentioned the fact that the house is smaller than what the pictures suggest. While this is true, we found the house to be very efficient and very clean: 2 small bedrooms with small bathrooms and showers in each + one fabulous master bedroom with a great view/balcony and a great bathroom. The kitchen is efficient and combined with the living room which we never actually used because we were always outdoors on the terrasse. It is also true that the closeby road is a bit noisy at times but it did not really bothered us, since the rest of the scenery is so relaxing. The ocean in front of the nice sandy beach is a fantastic aquarium to discover, filled with tons of tropical fishes attracted by corals. Also key to the success of this trip: A high quality wifi!
In conclusion: a perfect score for a very relaxing and beautiful place. While I almost never rent the same place twice, I have to admit I will seriously consider doing it with this one.

Amazing property
We had a fabulous 8 days at the house and absolutely loved our stay. I’m writing this from the UK and aching to be back!! As other reviews have said the internal space isn’t very big but the kitchen is very well stocked, there’s a huge fridge and the outside space is fantastic, it’s basically designed like a luxury yacht. A/c works well in all bedrooms and the master suite is spectacular. The only downside to the house is the road noise but we soon got used to it and it actually made the house feel safer than other properties in the area. Plus there are a few cockroaches around the garden in the evening but we found that even at high end restaurants we visited in the evenings too so something you just have to accept. Less mozzies than I expected and compared to other tropical countries the wildlife is very tame in Barbados!
The beach in front of the house is brilliant, it didn’t get busy but there’s often a little bar set up there for rum cocktails and the swimming off the beach is amazing - crystal clear waters and so much wildlife to see. It’s safe to swim and sandy in front of the house with small reefs within 50m in either direction which are perfect for easy snorkelling, my 9yo daughter had never snorkelled before but she was totally confident around the reefs off the house. We didn’t see turtles off the beach but we did spend two hours watching a humpback whales straight out to sea from the house on our last morning which was a magical and unexpected experience. If you want to get a private boat trip you can be picked up from right outside the house and for a couple of hundred USD we had a private snorkelling tour with turtles just up the coast arranged with Kurt who walks up and down the beach in the morning arranging trips. There’s a small supermarket really close, a really good Massey (stocked with Waitrose essentials) 5 mins drive away and a brilliant French bakery 10 mins away in Holetown where we got baguettes and croissant most mornings. Bridgetown and the east coast are an easy drive too. Lucy and Natasha were both very helpful and friendly to deal with. We saw the maintenance man Smiley once but asked not to have him visit during our stay, we did see him on the beach a few times though and it was nice to know he was around if we needed him.
Overall this is one of the best properties we’ve ever rented and I already miss it. We will be back!

Beautiful villa in stunning setting
We stayed at the villa in October as had the most incredible time.
I can’t praise the villa enough:
1. Lovely swimming pool
2. Gate straight out onto beach - beach was lovely and sandy
3. Use of lots of beach toys to entertain the children
4. Whilst inside is small the outside area is massive and we found this suited us right down to the ground
5. The owner went out of her way to help- I asked for a microwave to help with my babies bottles/purées and the owner bought one on my request
6. Security is top notch so felt safe (although it did keep going off but that may have been us getting used to it)
7. Bbq was fab
8. Really high spec - everything was lovely, towels/ curtains/ tv/ oven / bathrooms etc
9. The villa actually has 3 bathrooms!! I’m sure home and away advertise it as having one
10. View from
Bedroom balcony is spectacular esp sunsets
Only negatives were:
1. A few snags e.g door handle came off bedroom, decking board was lose, fridge let flashing warning it was too hot and a few other issues I can’t remember - would need to ask husband. Whilst we had some issues, Lucy was great at getting back to us straight away and working to get issues fixed
3. Lucy most likely unaware but Smiley said he would come and fix a decking slab which was lose on about day 3 of holiday(loose decking not great with our toddler running around), however we never saw him again and it wasn’t until we were checking out that another guy came with Natasha and fixed it. Felt like they were fixing it for the next guests arriving but hadn’t been worried about us having the lose decking
In summary the villa was magnificent, by far one of the best villas along the stretch. The beach it’s literally like you’re own private beach!!! Lucy was fantastic and went out of her way to make sure we had the most amazing holiday.., and we did. We’d love to go back again one day soon.
Get booked up, you won’t regret it!

Beautiful property in an amazing location
Perfectly appointed house, a stunning view and one of the quietest and prettiest beaches in the area. We're already working out when we can come back.

Fantastic location.
Right on a beautiful beach. An amazing view.
It didn’t have a microwave. Crazy.
Natasha the on site manager is wonderful. She is a gem.
Smiley the outside maintenance man was a pain.
The location was an easy walk to grocery and restaurants. We stayed for 12 days and loved every moment. Sunsets from the deck were a photographers dream.

Beautiful home.
This is a beautiful home in a stunning location. Having access to the beach is so special and the outdoor area and pool were wonderful. Plenty of great snorkelling opportunities! The bus stop is just outside which is very convenient. The house is by the busy road which is not heard when inside.

Exceptional!!!!
This house is exactly as represented. Cozy, well appointed interior, and a spacious, elegant exterior.
Upon arrival, Natasha the house manager, had a warm delicious meal prepared for my family. We then quickly changed into beach attire, stepped off the property, directly onto prime beach real estate. Like the beach access, all amenities (grocery store, restaurants etc) are easily accessible.
Overall, it was a wonderful vacation on a spectacular piece of property.
FYI- It is situated on a road with a decent amount of traffic noise during the day to which you quickly become accustomed. However, there is no visual evidence of this once on this very private property

The perfect getaway!
My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon in May and could not have been happier. Lucy and everyone we met associated with the property were extremely warm and accommodating. The house was perfect, and pictures don't even do justice to the outside living space and pool. Paradise!
Every day around 4:00pm, we walked onto the beach from the house and snorkeled, and saw a sea turtle every time! No need to go to the busy resorts and pay for a tour.
There is a market within walking distance as long as plenty of restaurants, so plenty of options to eat out or cook at the home. It truly was the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience!
We have already recommended this house to friends and family, and we can't wait to plan another visit to this beautiful spot in Barbados!
Thanks for everything, Lucy!

Spectacular beach front home
This is a spectacular beach front home. We couldn't be happier with the location and property. The indoor layout (3 bedrooms and 3 full washrooms, well appointed kitchen) and outdoor space (pool, dining, outdoor kitchen, lounge area) was ideal for our family of four. Beautifully decorated (no clutter, modern but warm and comfortable). We hope to come back next year. One of the best homes we have rented.

Our second visit and even more relaxing!
Right on the beach with it's own pool and beautiful views, one could not ask for more. So close to an array of fine restaurants and supermarket a short walk away. Would highly recommend.

This is a fantastic property is an amazing location. Lots of outdoor space so lots of options for eating al fresco. Lovely pool and Lucy has thought of everything with snorkels and masks, boogie boards and everything you need for the holiday. Natasha who looks after the property was fantastic-such a nice lady and very helpful. Thoroughly recommended and we are coming back next year!

Holiday of a lifetime!
We chose Indigo Bay for a family holiday in January 2015. Upon arrival we were greeted by Glenis who showed us around the villa and operation of alarm etc. Our first impression was that the property was smaller than the website suggests however next morning when we inspected the exterior and surroundings, that became irrelavent. The location is perfect and the views spectacular. The outside area is a good size and if you want to explore the coast you only need to walk through a gate and you are on a fairly quiet beach.
We stayed for 3 weeks and purchased groceries at Costuless in Warrens or for smaller purchases, the supermarket in Holetown is great.
The property was maintained and cleaned regularly (Monday, Wednesday & Friday's) by Natasha and is a delightful lady. Although she is there completing her duties, she is discreet and respectful and an asset to the villa owner. The outside is maintained by "Smiley" and his duties are to keep the exterior tidy and the plants watered. Smiley does like a chat but is also a knowledgable guy so if you need Jet skis or similar, he will help you.
We only dined out on five occasions as the barbecue was excellent and with the quality of the accommodation and views couldn't find a reason to not utilise the setting. When we did dine out, we would recommend the following, Lone Star (Excellent), Tides (Very Good) and within walking distance Scarlets for a casual dinner with great cocktails.
Locally there are great golf courses and would recommend Royal Westmoreland and the best day out was a catamaran trip on Stiletto. We did the 3 hour trip and snorkelling with the turtles was superb. If you have a hire car, a day trip to Bathsheba and Crane Beach is stunning and the views are magnificent, particularly if the surf is up.
If you fancy some live music in a beach bar on a Sunday evening, head to Mullins Beach Bar & Grill. Get there for 5 o'clock and watch the sunset before the band start playing a mixture of music suitable for all ages.
The only suggestion I would make to the owner is to provide a safe and to improve the cooling option in the kitchen as it does get extremely warm if you do use the oven.
In summary, a wonderful modern design villa in a great location and will definitely be returning as soon as possible. Best holiday ever!

Very Nice indeed!
Beautiful place that is modern, on the beach and has great functional outside space. The morning views from master suite were outstanding! The house is on the small side for a 3 bedroom villa (2 double bedrooms upstairs, one queen down stairs) but you will spend most of your time outside! The wifi works well in and out so easy to stream music etc good cable tv with access to many kids/sports channels. Excellent gas BBQ grill outside, go to Paynes Bay fish market where "Young" will sell you lovely fresh fish. BBQ is like new and house is kept very clean by Natasha. There are pool and beach toys for kids, beds for beach with comfy cushions (needs a beach umbrella though). Great location, close to Cliff, CinCin and not that far from Sandy Lane/Holetown, not rushing back to Il Tempio for food (opposite Jordan’s) but owner is very nice/good with kids and decent happy hour. Jordan’s Supermarket and Doctor very close which was handy as one of our daughters got an ear infection. You are on the main coastal road and there is some noise but on the other hand you always have the relaxing sound of the ocean on your door step! Night times tend to be pretty quiet and calm….Car park gate was not working (would be great if this was shaded) and we had workers come several times to work on it, but I think it will be working for anyone who rents this next time. Garden/Beach Shower was also not working but understand that too will be fixed. Any other problems were dealt with quickly by Natasha and Owner but there isn’t a villa manager. I would recommend this villa for families with 2 kids (bringing grandparents could also work well too) but 6 adults might find it a bit too cosy.

Outstanding accomodation
We only stayed in Barbados for a few days but plan to return very very soon because we found the Island to be a great destination for a holiday. This was made even better by our stay at Indigo Bay which is a truly astounding Villa with views to die for. It has everything you would wish to have in an accommodation and although we leave today we are really hoping for an air traffic control strike to allow us to stay for as long as possible. The design of this property is first class and the interior is second to none.

Well Worth The Stay
This property is a little gem! Though the indoor space is not large, it is wonderfully appointed inside and out. The property is wonderfully situated for sunsets, crowd free beach, and safely exposed to local life.
We enjoyed a Banks (or two) each day at the small Bajan bar directly across the street, and world class food just minutes
up/down the road.
Stargazing from the master deck is a must, and one of the things we found truly special about the well thought out design of Indigo.
The only consideration to know is that the property does sit with the main road to the rear and there is certainly traffic noise by day. This concerned us slightly when we arrived, but by late night things really quiet down and no sleep is lost.
We'd recommend this property for a couple or small family who is looking for the ideal beachfront setting that has great outdoor space and centrally located conveniences.

Stunning beach side property with all mod cons!
We had an incredibly special and spoiling week in this lovely beachside property.
The house is beautifully finished and has everything you need both inside & out. With three extra outside area - dining area, drinking area & bbq area plus the swimming pool and not to mention the beach itself - it is just fab! The master bedroom has the most stunning views (as well as ensuite!) - who needs the Sandy Lane!!! The other two bedrooms have their own shower rooms/loos.
It was always a tough decision whether to sit by the pool and enjoy the sun or to walk out of the garden gate and onto the beach! The house even provides four loungers for the beach too! It is a lovely white sand beach with some good snorkelling to enjoy.
The owner recommended an excellent driver and during the day, we would sometimes head up the coast to the various beaches - Mullens - being a particular favourite - just 10 minutes away. She also recommended a boat outing and we had two fun afternoons heading up & down the coast looking at all the various hotels, enjoying some more snorkelling and finally a trip on a sofa boat - serious fun!
The house is very close to Holetown - with some excellent restaurants close by to enjoy in the evenings - Cincin was very special.
Although the property is just next to the road, you are hardly aware of it and your eyes are drawn to the stunning beach/sea views. It is NOT noisy at night at all!
I am already planning my return!

Brill views from my balcony bath tub
Like stepping into the pages of Traveller magazine, this was the perfect property for our family holiday. As you can see from the snaps, the views from this home were amazing. There is something to be said for relaxing in a bath tub and looking out to sea from your private balcony.
Everything was decorated to a very high standard and all looks brand new, so was cosy enough inside but really when you are that close to the sea you want to spend most of your time outside on the terrace, lounging on one of the sunbeds or having dinner al fresco. Another added advantage is being on the beach but with your own privacy.
We also made friends with the local fishermen who would swing by at the end of the day to offer us their catch.
And great location not far from Sandy lane, The Cliff and Lone Star so if you do want to venture out it isn't a massive effort, but personally we didn't see much point in leaving the luxury of our home in Barbados!
