A little quiet haven (apart from the roaming cockerels) only a 10-15mins walk from the Gaios harbour.
Rustic charm with some mod-cons and well kept.
When they found out it was my birthday .. a bottle of Prosecco had been put in our room when we returned from the beach. A very nice touch!
It's a very unobtrusive resort. As such, there is only 1 staff member around at certain times - you need to make sure you put in any requests/queries when you see her.
Only one criticism ... more milk needed with breakfast for tea/coffee.

The hostess was so kind, hard working and always helpful
Rooms were spacious, private and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of food for breakfast and loved having it delivered to our room.
Pool was a nice size and music playing was great.
Good distance to the town and not too hilly
Nice and private outlook
Not a huge problem but the grounds looked like they hadn’t been well maintained. Plus the side path out to the road was constantly wet with the neighbours waste water.

Beautifully designed immaculate suites with big beds great amenities with small kitchenette and fridge, perfect private, beautiful pool to enjoy the sunset. fantastic location 10 mins walk from the town with all the restaurants
Doesn’t have a sea view but that adds to the exclusive charm

Just 6 units in a beautiful location , a short walk from Gaios. A great pool and staff very friendly and helpful. The room was kept spotless . It was lovely having breakfast delivered and eating it on our private patio .

Beautiful resort, great location. Adda was an angel: she brought us breakfast every morning and clean our apartment every day. I would definitely go back.
The jacuzzi was not working during our stay.

Hope to come back! Amazingly beautiful island!
It was all good!!!
4.7
Loved that the breakfast was privately served on our terrace. The pool was beautiful and great for swimming.
Would be great with a bigger selection of cocktails on the pool bar menu.
4.7
The fact that the rooms are under the olive trees and chickens from the village were visiting us!
It is not easy to have privacy. Anyone could walk around your room -which has very nice big windows - and you have to keep curtains close all the time. Also the breakfast is poor. It needs to be reorganized..
4.7
location, peace and serenity, great host and complimentary breakfast served every day outside the room. Central location, only a few minutes walk to Gaios port. Infinity pool was great.
No safe in the rooms
No external shower
No external toilet/changing room for swimming pool

The area is so peaceful and relaxing. Having breakfast served on your terrace every morning was lovely. The presentation was great. The housekeeper is lovely and welcoming and looked after us really well.
There appears to be a mosquito problem, obviously won't affect everyone, but on our first day I received over 20 bites on my body from either sitting around the pool or on our terrace. Just be warned to take insect repellent.

lovely pool & very relaxing
A little hard to find.
4.7
Lovely, isolated resort only 5-10 minutes walk from the center of Gaios. Perfect for a little relaxation as a couple, not many facilities (no restaurant and little to no stuff) so not ideal for families or the like. The pool was great too!
The walk can be a bit annoying when very warm, we ended up renting a scooter which was a great decision as it allowed us to explore fully this tiny, gorgeous island.
As mentioned by other reviews, the "resort" is really 6-7 separate buildings with a central pool. If you're looking for a serviced resort, this is not for you; also, breakfast has very limited choices. The lovely Ada really does work for six people! But after all she's alone, so you have few windows of opportunities to order drinks at the pool etc.
We also had an unfortunate episode whereby a summer storm kind of hit Paxos and a general blackout hit the whole island for a few hours -- obviously not the hotel's fault and we're told this happens very rarely, but still impacted us as no light, no A/C etc for almost a whole night.

Room and pool
no sea view. 15 min walk back from port in the dark.

Nice pool, nice room, nice location and nice service.
no internet the first 3 days, bad bar music (stressful), bad room door not working (couldn’t close it), the parasol didn’t help with the sun (on one seating place got the shade in the afternoon) and bad breakfast.

The breakfast was wonderful! The resort is situated in a very peaceful area, only a 10 minute walk away from town. It feels very relaxing and was the perfect place for a few days of blissful peace and relaxation. Breakfast included was delicious - Anda delivered this to our door every morning, she was so thoughtful and considerate to our needs, incredibly hard-working and always around and available for help. The staff are wonderful. The room is kept clean daily and is the perfect haven. It was absolute paradise! The infinity pool was such a highlight and the best we've ever experienced. It was amazing and we can't say enough praise for Anda, she was very kind and welcoming

Ada the housekeeper was fantastic, very helpful and friendly.
Lots of bites from mosquitos

We loved the peaceful environment, the pool, the comfortable, spacious, modern clean rooms. The staff were friendly, warm and helpful. It is in a convenient location for Gaios.

We were well
Looked after by our lovely host. We enjoyed the breakfast which were delivered to our room and we loved the pool.
Some people might find the cockerels a bit noisy.
4.7
Private and quiet. Rooms are clean.
To say that its a resort is misleading. And there’s no reception and no staff on site, no one at the “bar”, just one employee that comes back here and there. We had tons of bees and didn’t manage to eat our breakfast because of them.
4.7
We liked everything; the service, the breakfast, the beds and the room, the swimming pool, the host. We can go on forever.
Having to go back home, we did not want to leave this paradise.
4.7
Great facilities and the staff always made us feel very welcome (as did the resident cat). Thank you!

Close enough to walk into Gaios but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Lovely rooms with very comfortable beds. Ada looked after us with breakfast every morning. She cleaned the bungalow every day and they were spotless. She worked like a trouper. Beautiful pool area and lovely pool.
I had message saying someone would meet us on arrival but there wasn’t anyone there. After being unable to get anyone on the phone we saw one of the six bungalows had a key in the door and was set up for new arrivals so we assumed it was ours and unpacked. Arrivals could be better handled. Could have done with a sharp knife for cutting fruit etc up.
4.7
Great location 5 mins from town bars restaurants. High quality apartments very tastefully furnished. Breakfast delivered to your terrace by Ada who was very lovely and warm. She also kept the apartment spotlessly clean. Best bed and pillows giving a great night's sleep. Highly recommend
Nothing to dislike

The pool and privacy
4.7
Modern, minimalistic with a nice swimming pool. Really nice, honest and helpful maid that made amazing job to give this place a soul! We really appreciated her presence. Just friendly and great person.
The hotel has very bad policy making a big problem out of small things. We asked for more water in the room ( tapped water is not drinkable on the island, one cannot even use it for cooking) and we were denied. (Only one bottle for two people!)
Communication was also very bad. All the information had to be repeated (like hour of arrival, etc.) and communication was not personal. The receptionist refused helping to order a taxi, even though the taxi driver spoke only Greek and we asked multiple times for help.
We talked on the phone to make sure breakfast is included and that was also confirmed. In the end of our stay we however got a message that it was exceptional ‘gift’, and not a service included in a notabene very expensive hotel. The price and supposed standard of the hotel simply didn’t materialize neither in hospitality nor generosity of the hotel managers.

Privacy
Cleanness
Quietness
Nature, whilst close to Gaios (5 min on foot)
Heavily Understaffed, even if the lady who was there was pulling out the work of 6 persons on her own. She was amazing.

I am writing this review in English so that more people may read it without having to read unsuccessful translations. The proximity of the facility to Gaios is fundamental. It is situated just a 5 minute walk away, in a very pleasant and chilly environment of olive trees and other fruit trees, which helped both in terms of privacy, no noise of any kind and mitigating the extreme heat which occured throughout our stay. Our large car was parked very easily under a natural shade of a big olive tree just outside the door. The breakfast was freshly prepared each morning, minutes before serving, according to the small yet decent variety offered and Anta picked a high quality bread each morning and bought fresh oranges to prepare fresh orange juice for both of us, as we don't drink coffee. The small house - apartment is super spacious, with visible cement roof and stone walls, large glass-door openings efficiently shaded, and ceiling fans both in the room and out in the terrace. The water supply and pressure was very good, high quality APIVITA toiletries and a quite big fridge which worked very efficiently and fitted our fruit, food and three 1,5 lt bottles of water. We did not use the small kitchen, but if needed, it can serve well for plain meals.
Not anly our appartment, but the whole facility is stone paved and kept so clean that you can actually enjoy walking all over the place barefoot and everything is maintained very clean throughout the day. The pool is very nice and cleverly built so that you can both relax and swim a little and the pool area was very tranquil. The "Adult Only" choice of the owner has proven very wise, as the facility expands in many levels, which could be potentially dangerous for small children, while at the same time ensures the serenity of all the guests.
Perhaps the breakfast options could be enriched a little.

We had the most amazing experience at Paxoi Resort, and the ultimate relaxation.
Waking up in the morning, having our breakfast privately served on our terrace was really lovely. We even got fresh omelette on request and the breakfast arriving on the time we chose.
The pool is absolutely fabulous and is perfect for a swimmer like me, as you could make laps.
Amazing Ada kept our room spot clean and any additional requests was immediately handled.
If you look for a place to relax in privacy and quietness, surrounded by nature, this is the place!!!!!!
That I could stay for more days, but there was no more availability.

The operational staff for the day to day support (Miss Anta) has been amazingly helpful, kept the room clean and changed the towels every day. It is amazing how she can manage everything by herself, however probably she needs another pair of hands to help. I hope she will gets a bonus at the end of the season.
The room smelled like mould when we had the windows closed all day. The shower had an over spilled of water when we showered which is an issue by design. The mirror had stains by default (wasn’t a cleaning issue).
The breakfast was limited and wasn’t an option for anything additional even if we wanted to pay extra.
Expectation on a deluxe advertised property/suite is for the fridge to contain basic items every day e.g bottle of water.
General, we missed the Greek philoxenia as the management wasn’t there for further interaction e.g to ask information for the island.
4.7
We had to fill a card with breakfast options every evening and leave the card in our terrace where breakfast was brought to us every morning. Breakfast was simple but sufficient to get you going - we were more than happy with the offering. Although, we ordered our breakfast for 9am and it was only delivered after 9:15/9:20. Not a massive issue if you're just relaxing around Gaios but if you have plans to leave by a certain time to get your ferry back or have planned activities (ie. we hired a boat one of the days so needed to be out by 9:30) then this can be quite annoying.
You could clearly hear the room next door through the shelving unit next to the bed. This was far from ideal as we heard next door during the night and their alarm clock at 7 am that kept on going for at least half an hour. The noise was very loud as if they were in the room so that is a massive disappointment with the room. Apart from that the room was great and served us very well.
The name of the accommodation is quite misleading - this is not a resort. It has an amazing pool and jacuzzi area which is truly beautiful but for the 4 days we spent there the bar did not have anyone serving drinks.
4.7
The place is located near the main town- 5 min by walking
The room is clean and modern
The breakfast was really lame and poor.
The pool is not so beautiful as the pictures tell and there is not enough shadows.
The staff didn’t wear a mask even when we asked them to.
Long story short - the place is really not a resort
