Traumhafter Rückzugsort am Strand

Das Hotel hat wirklich alles was man zum entspannen benötigt. Direkter Strandzugang, tolle Terrasse, schöner unverstellter Blick, tolle Wellnessanlage, es geht kaum besser. Wer auf Sauberkeit steht, ist hier im Paradies. Wer auf Ruhe steht, ebenfalls. Ein Teil des Personals ist sehr serviceorientiert und sehr hilfreich. Die Abendessen im Restaurant waren sehr lohnend. Es werden zwei Ladestationen für E-Autos angeboten. Es werden Zeitungen und Zeitschriften angeboten. Das Kuchenangebot ist sehr reichhaltig. Das Frühstück ist in allen Belangen kaum zu überbieten (bis 12:00 Uhr!)!

Das Personal ist teilweise nicht gut eingearbeitet, dafür aber sehr bemüht. Es scheint dort schwierig zu sein, ausreichendes Personal zu finden.

Schönes und grosszügiges Zimmer mit Nespressomaschine (Kapseln wurden immer ergänzt), sehr bequeme Betten, super Lage an

Lage, Wellness mit Dünensauna und direktem Weg zur Ostsee, vielseitiges Frühstück bis 12:00Uhr!

Im Wellnessbereich (Liegebereich Galerie) wurde die Getränkeecke nicht betreut. Es fehlten saubere Becher und man musste danach fragen. Das passt nicht zum Fünfsterne Status.

Excellent hotel in a quiet location. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic hotel. The facilities are excellent. The sauna with multiple rooms as well as an outdoor one are very good. Its right on the beach which is perfect for walks during the day. There isn't much nearby, which is fine if you are looking for that.

More machines in the gym, including a treadmill.

Quiet, uncomplicated elegant weekend

the location right on the beach (dune) , cleanliness, friendly staff, spa, parking , room was super. the wine selection in restaurant is stunning!

Perfect beach destination with room for improvement

- the location right at the beach - the outdoor patio area with waiters when sunny - view from room, make sure you book (side) sea views it’s worth it - size of rooms for a German hotel pretty good - breakfast is definitely decent, if you are lucky you get a seat with a bit of sea view too - curry wurst with gold dust - most decadent German mainstream dish variation, loved the idea! - underground parking for your car

- the service of the staff in the restaurant areas, sad to say I have to agree with other reviews on this hotel. Staff can be almost rude, very slow and sometimes forgetful, if not even ignorant towards female guests with serving cake pieces upside down on the plate and no eye contact at all more than on one occasion Please kindly retrain your staff, a 5 star hotel shouldn’t feel like a training ground for apprentices. - the hotel is dated indeed, it’s at the edge of 4/5 stars - everything else was great and worth a (re)visit because the location is just not beatable in the area

Lovely view and nice retreat, but this luxury hotel needs a consultant to come in and train staff.

The property is located on a lovely sand beach, with views that stretch for miles and miles. It is clean, inviting, and the staff are very friendly. I like that you can access your room directly from the parking garage, and that it is possible to enjoy the spa on both your arrival and departure day. The dining package was fantastic, with plenty of delicious food and beverage choices. The balcony overlooking the sea was also fantastic, and I look forward to coming here again when the weather is warm.

While the hotel itself is absolutely lovely, and the staff are very friendly, there is an element of professionalism that is absolutely lacking for a spa resort of this caliber. It has the potential to be a very luxurious place. Unfortunately, it is merely potential. For example, while the food and dining package was a brilliant feature, the wait staff are not at all properly trained to serve in a luxury dining establishment. There are no systems in place for receiving and seating guests, taking orders, and making sure that guest needs are met. When we arrived in the dining room, no one greeted us, or told us where we could sit. We were left at a table for more than 20 minutes before someone came over to offer a menu. We waited another 20 minutes to order a drink. And throughout the entire meal, we never really knew who our server was because each time someone different would come to the table. The hygiene practices and handling of food is also a serious issue. At one point, our waitress literally put her bare hands on my food, touching the food items, in order to describe what each item on the plate was. It wasn't a complicated dish in any way. It was basically a three part dessert, that required no explanation whatsoever---and I assure you, it was 100% unnecessary to touch my food. And unfortunately, it is not only a problem in the restaurant area. Another example was in the evening, while we were laying by the indoor pool area. The sun was setting and it was so relaxing. There was a piano player and candles were lit. It was absolutely perfect in every way. Until someone from the spa staff decided that it was time to clean up. From one second to the next, the bright overhead lights were turned on, all candles blown out, and she began to gather the candle holders clanking the glass loudly together - completely ruining any chance of serenity. At first, my husband and I thought the pool area must be closing. But that was not the case at all.
