The property was stunning and the gardens were immaculate. We had a lovely time walking through them! The proprietors were also very gracious and welcoming. We felt truly relaxed during our whole stay.

No tea or coffee in the room

It was a unique experience, totally beautiful. Tucked away from civilisation, it was a total gem.
Bed was a bit hard

Extraordinary hotel - absolutely wonderful. We stayed only 1 night but regret we did not have time to stay longer to savour the magic. The building, the decoration and furnishings, and the garden were all delightful. The breakfast was also superb.
The biggest drawback is the absence of a proximate restaurant. There is one in the village 4 km away, but after that you must drive 16 km to Combourg, which is well worth a visit anyway. Remember, people eat early in the countryside.

Our room overlooked the fabulous garden they have here. We spent time at the beginning of our stay and at the end of our stay exploring different parts of it. There was also a sumptious breakfast every morning. It was an absolutely enchanting stay.

My fourth stay since 2015 and so obviously I love it.
The history, the huge and gorgeous bedrooms, the
lounges and the breakfast room. All feel like a family
lives here. Breakfast is incredible! I also took advantage
of the large heated pool and the jacuzzi. So incredibly
relaxing.

This is probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The family that runs it were delightful, the place exceeded most every other place I have ever stayed at, and I have been all over the world.
I loved everything.

Wow! The gates open and you enter a world of luxury and classic beauty. Beautiful gardens and the sounds of cooing or ring-neck doves. surround you.
The decor in the bedrooms especially is spectacular, with textile panel walls and canopy beds. The staff's extra effort laundering on-site and ironing all the linens by hand makes them amazingly fresh --crisp and soft at the same time! Better than the 4 Seasons!
Amazing property, lovely people, a not to be missed experience!
This was not a negative....We were dining with friends who lived close to the Chateau, but as it was the vacation time in France, and since many local restaurants were closed, it was difficult to get dinner, as they only serve breakfast at the Chateau.
But the staff made sure that our kids were taken care of and helped them get pizza for dinner, warming it up in the kitchen. Above and beyond!

Beautiful building and gardens! Pet friendly and welcoming. Our room was perfect, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing in the dining room served by a sweet woman.
Loved it all!! Only thing that would be nice, cafe food or meals. Not too far from restaurants but in the garden would have been spectacular

We had a fantastic stay. Beautiful place, friendly staff, great breakfast.
Dinner locations are quite far away, but if you have a car this isn’t a problem.
