Room Cleaning including dishes, sea view, quiet.scooter rental right across the street Great appartment for climbers

The accommodation is of a very good standard, with everything you need, clean and quiet. Although the accommodation is accessible via a steep hill if you use the vehicle access, there is an easier way via the side of the property. The view from the balcony was great, overlooking Telendos. There is a beach at the bottom of the hill with a taverna and mini market. Maria could not have been more helpful arranging a taxi to and from the port.
Nothing.

The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond during my stay! The property was in a nice and quiet location, with stunning views. The studio themselves are exceptionally clean, with thorough daily cleans by a friendly lady. The cooking facility’s are good for a studio, with electric hobs, pans utensils, filter coffee machine, toasty maker etc. The oven was really useful (not many places have them). So overall would recommend anyone travelling to Kalymnos to stay here!
The property was a 20 min walk or so from the busier area which wasn’t a problem as it’s a lovely to walk around. Also, most people hire scooters so it’s not a problem

Very quiet location near abandoned beach but nice restaurants within walking distance. Daily fresh bread at a small supermarket as well. For all other thing we recomend a scooter unless you really like walking.

The host, Maria, was friendly and extremely responsive to comms, arranged a transfer from the port and, due to my late ferry, met me at the apartment at midnight without complaint.
Located above Melitsahas beach, in a quiet area with little or no traffic. 20 mins stroll to Myrties.
Spacious apartment with good kitchenette facilities which included a built-in oven and new fridge. AC, reliable Wi-Fi, reasonably sized shower room and plenty of hot water. Nice private balcony with wonderful view of Telendos.
Cleaned daily with fresh towels.
Good value accommodation.
The shower enclosure was extremely small and made it difficult to wash.
Very steep climb up to the apartment (but only for a short distance).
Minor gripes - Decor a little dated. The supplied washing line was extremely short (1 towel max).

Everything! Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Hot water always. Nice decoration. Good lighting. Quiet.

A spotlessly clean, well-equipped room (quiet fridge, toasted-sandwich maker, coffee machine, family-size oven & hob, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, even a steam iron and a food processor), a proper shower with sliding doors, double-glazed windows, ample storage and - last, but definitely not least - a great view of Telendos islet (see photos). The terrace is spacious and, at this time of the year (mid September) affords enough shade in the afternoon for sea-gazing in comfort. You're also likely to enjoy a few hours of real quiet - but do see the 'cons' box below.
Maria was polite, the lady who cleaned the rooms (another Maria) friendly and meticulous and both wore their masks whenever we were in the same room. On the last day, I found a saucer with sweet treats in the fridge; a nice gesture that literally went down very well.
Melitsahas beach is about 5' away (see more below) and Myrties, where you can find a few rather upmarket taverns, a mini-market, another beach and the bus-stop, 10-15', depending on your pace.
A couple of tips:
- make sure that you either keep your key on you at all times or prop the door open when you're on the terrace. There's no way to put the door on the latch, so if the wind blows it shut, you'll be stuck until Maria can let you in (not speaking from experience, but it was evident enough).
- You're likely to find that you can't connect to the wi-fi. That's because both the network name and the password are misspelt. If you can't guess the correct spelling for either (as I did), make sure to ask Maria before you despair.
- Do use the insect screens and plug-in mosquito-repellent (provided); you'd also do well to pack some insect-repellent lotion.
- The studios are not easily accessible on foot. If you have any mobility problems, I'd definitely recommend either renting a car or looking elsewhere: both the tarmacked road and the dirt road are fairly steep. Also, to access most rooms, you'll need to climb a few steps.
- If you're not driving and you're arriving early in the morning, Maria will likely tell you to get a taxi from the port, which will set you back by about €18; quite expensive, given the distance. The bus, on the other hand, will only cost you only €2. Get off near the mini-market Stalas at Myrties and either get a taxi there or arrange for Maria to pick you up from the bus stop. If you're travelling light and don't mind carrying your luggage up to the studios, walking is also an option.
- Right across the tarmacked road there is a moped-rentals shop, which, quite obviously, means a fair amount of noise and fumes for much of the day. At the far end (green room), the resident family, consisting of two young kids and their (far louder) parents, can compromise seriously the promised quiet. If it's tranquility that you're after, choose your room carefully as there can be a fair amount of shouting, reprimanding and so on, especially at the weekend, when they're mostly at home. Also, do keep in mind that there are a couple of chatty roosters nearby which converse whenever they feel like it. If this rustic touch doesn't appeal, pack some earplugs.

The property was a distance from the town and on a very steep hill.

Very nice apartment very close to the beach and walking distance from everything..restaurants, supermarkets and bus stop. Clean and with great view on the sea and telendos.
Maria and her husband are really nice people. They welcome me and they were always available if I needed anything. Definitely recommended.

Met at the port which made it super easy to check in.
Really nice spacious studio with plenty of cooking equipment and really nice bathroom for Kaly.
Apartment kept very clean.
15 min walk to Masouri which meant it was nice and quiet and close to almost private beach.
The balcony was a little disappointing as no sea view and didn't get much sun.
A bit of a walk to main shops and restaurants of masouri but that did make it quite peaceful. Definitely need a vehicle for climbing.

Maria is a great host, she met us at the port when we arrived and was wonderful while we were there. We stayed a month, the location and view is spectacular, didn't want to leave.
Everything is great
