Villa Fortuna - a lovely place to stay!

The villa was very welcoming with good views towards the marina and obliquely to Fuerteventura. The main bedroom is large enough for two people and has a lovely view of the garden and marina looking out to sea. The pool is quite small but adequate for two people. The garden is nice. The owner (Agnes) was around for number of days and was helpful and attentive, the property manager (Carlos) was very helpful, and although we didn't get the chance to meet with the maid, the villa was very tidy after her visit.

The awning hanging down in front of the living room window blocked the view and was annoying. We had to shuffle the bedroom furniture a bit to create an additional bedside table. There were no instructions for logging on to the Internet, operating the oven etc. But Carlos assisted.

On the face of it the property was lovely but let down by the points lusted above.

Outside area good inc pool, building finishes good. Kitchen well finished and stocked.

Bedding was poor and dirty and needed washing. Duvet smelled of urine. Showers were poorly controlled. Did not like placing soiled toilet paper in bins. Makes place smell. Could do with off road parking. Electrical safety was poor with bare wires exposed in two locations.

Great stay, lovely location and view. Outdoor furniture needs a bit of a revamp.

Great property for a family. Location was great for us- quiet but good access to other things/places.

Air on not being included was not great but luckily it wasn’t too hot. Outside furniture could do with a revamp. I would also make it clear the 4th bedroom is attached to another bedroom as that was not ideal for 2 families sharing as the master bedrooms are both at the front of the house.

Amazing Villa

Villa fortuna was absolutely amazing. It was spotlessly clean. The pool was the cleanest pool ever and lovely and warm. It really was a home from home. The kitchen was super well equipped. The living room area was so bright and relaxing. The pool area was very big with sunshine from sunrise to sunset. I could not fault this villa and the fantastic host. The location was perfect, a 2 minute walk to the marina.

100% Weiterempfehlung für einen erholsamen Urlaub!

Die Villa ist sehr gepflegt,tolle Lage,die Küche gut ausgestattet, die Betten bequem. Die persönliche Nachfrage per Telefon durch die Eigentümer, sowie die freundliche Betreuung vor Ort von Carlos , möchte ich besonders anmerken! Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl.

Da gibt’s nix zu kritisieren.

heated pool and outdoor space was sheltered. it also excellent sea panoramic views

the beds were very hard and some internal improvements are needed. And although the property had air-conditioning it required you to put coins in to pay in addition.

lovely time here apart from the beds!!

the location is brilliant. 5 minute walk to the marina with the bars and restaurants. Pool area is lovely, villa is spacious and well equipped.

unfortunately the beds were so very uncomfortable. they were rock hard with terrible pillows and duvets where the duvet somehow ended up at the bottom of the cover! he outside furniture wasn’t very comfortable either, a bit dated and old and needed replacing.

Property very clean

Quality of beds (very hard), pillows, quilt covers and linen very poor quality. Lots of broken items, like door hooks, loose taps, one bathroom not supplying hot water.

Beautiful villa but getting tired.

The location could not be better for proximity to the port. The view over the marina out to sea is stunning plus the outside areas and pool are excellent. The villa manager was welcoming and helpful.

An attractive spacious villa, but internally it is dated and below modern expectations. The amenities are basic and although mostly functional, are worn and very tired - including the linen. The web photos seem to have been taken a while ago? Difficult to rate this villa as it is 5+ stars for location and outside space but only 3 stars internally.

Location is excellent, close to harbour, villa has good clean pool with good outside terrace and seating area. Two main bedrooms are very comfortable with air conditioning.

4th bedroom is not great, garage conversion which gets very hot with poor air circulation, is also used for storage of extra furniture, had to move kids out of room on hot nights. Overall good stay and would book again.

Amazing location and lovely villa with plenty of room.

the location was incredible. so close to the port and all its lovely restaurants.

Nothing really. Furnishings a little tired and the washing machine didn’t drain. But really lovely host. would definitely recommend

EXCELLENT LOCATION GREAT COMMUNICATION WITH CARLOS AND AGNES THROUGH OUT OUR STAY THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING AND THE CLEANEST POOL WE HAVE STAYED IN, AIR CONDITIONING IN BEDROOMS, LOVED THE COVERED OUTDOOR SPACE TO RELAX OUT OF THE SUN WE WILL BE RETURNING
