Not much.
Advertised as a bed an breakfast but after booking got email saying they were not doing breakfast but offering no price reduction. No drawers and hanging space was a single bar with no hangers. Room was cold with no option to heat it. Wooden floor in poor condition. No dedicated car parking and had to seek out street parking.

Good location, Lovely comfortable room, easy to use key safe to get in.
Would stay there again.
Only slight downside is no car park with the hotel, however, parked for free on the road by the big church.
Shame they have had to stop the breakfasts , however went to a little cafe up the road and had a good breakfast. The owner said could not compete with the cost of cafe for breakfast and made the room prices cheaper instead which was fair enough.

It was clean and comfortable
We would have liked to have met the owners. Other than that no problems at all. Thank you for a nice stay

The fridge on the landing was a superb touch. I imagine most visitors are hikers so being able to store food was a really great addition and not an option I've come across before

Location was great.
Probably my mistake, but when I made my booking i thought breakfast was included in the price.

The room was exceptional for the price, and in an established building of a well known Welsh village.
The bed was really comfy, and good bedding.
Excellent availability of tea and coffee supplies for the room, easily available outside the room.
Particularly loved the key safe option for the room key and front door outside the main door.
Communication online was excellent.
Particularly loved the lack of noise, which I know I would have suffered in bigger accommodation nearby, due to lads on weekend hols.

Beds super comfy with great linen and towls.
Sharon our host was great.rooms charming...
The shower pressure and temp was rather dodgy....and room heating not on the whole night.
After a long drive I had hoped shower would be better.

Beautiful room, very clean, comfy soft bed and a calming view over the river. Very easy check in & out. Location is just perfect. Lots of books and DVDs available which is a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again! Fast wifi too.
Booking initially says ‘parking available’ but there is no actual parking, we found a space about a minute up the road just on the road side but if it was during busier periods it might be hard to find somewhere to park.

We upgraded to kingsize room and it was wonderful with views across the the river. With the contact less check in we did not plan on see the hosts, however had the pleasure of chatting to Simon on the way out as he was cleaning the room opposite. Such a friendly chap. Gave the impression that nothing was too much. The rooms were exceptionally cleaned to a high standard. We would definitely go back again, but maybe in the summer.
Thanks for a lovely New Year break.

Clean, well run and everything as advertised.
Thin walls meant snoring in the next door room was a problem.

Perfect location. Warm and comfortable.
I didn't like having to communicate through email all the time as I didn't always have phone signal.
There were no towels when we arrived and because of email communication, we had gone shopping for some before we were told they would be delivered to the room.

The location
Smell of damp. Floorboards in room. Sticky bathroom lino. Poor mattresses. Noise from other rooms. No greetings from hosts. Hair in milk jug pooring rim not noticed by host. Price of breakfast not value for money.

Very clean room, very friendly people, good location, close to shops and restraunts, very peacefull and relaxing hotel, kettle, tea, coffee and milk provided, kept you updated by email.
Top floor room a bit small, view of patio and garden, would have prefered front facing room, with more floor space,

Good central location for many local hiking trails, good local shop nearby for supplies, nice view of mountains and village green. I happened to stay over the hottest couple of days ever recorded in Wales and my room remained reasonably cool.
