The hotel is so lovely with old world charm and set in breathtakingly beautiful grounds. But the staff just made our stay even more enjoyable. Friendly smiling faces and a wealth of information on the area. We loved every second we stayed there.

We absolutely loved our stay at Relais Villa San Martino in Puglia! From the moment we arrived, Gabriele and the team made us feel right at home with their warm welcome and attentive service. The hotel's surroundings are stunning, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere that was incredibly relaxing.
The location of Villa San Martino is perfect for exploring the beauty of Puglia. Situated near Martina Franca, Ostuni, Locorotondo, and Alberobello, we had easy access to these charming towns and their unique attractions.
The breakfast at Villa San Martino was excellent, with a delightful buffet offering a variety of delicious options to start our day. The hotel's trullo restaurant (IL TRULLO DI NINÒ) offered authentic Italian homemade cuisine that we highly recommend. The attention to detail and quality of the food were exceptional, ensuring a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.
The rooms at the hotel were cozy and comfortable, making us feel right at home. We slept soundly and woke up refreshed each morning. The staff's dedication to cleanliness and maintenance was evident, and we appreciated their efforts to create a comfortable and inviting environment.
In summary, our experience at Villa San Martino was truly remarkable. The warm welcome, beautiful surroundings, and relaxing atmosphere made us feel like we belonged. The convenient location near charming towns allowed us to explore the best of Puglia effortlessly. If you're looking for a home away from home in Puglia, we highly recommend Relais Villa San Martino for an unforgettable stay.

The staff is friendly, the property has a certain charme of the 1930ies…
In summary, the hotel is very far from 5 stars, the value for price is inacceptable.
- we had a tiny room without windows
- the bathroom is very dated, impossible to take a bath or get the right water temperature
- there was an ant colony living in our room
- using the spa for one hour costs an additional 50 euro per person
- Wi-Fi in the room mostly doesn’t work.
We asked to change the room after the first night but never heard back from the staff…

Close to the city.
Very nice staff.
That's it.
Ancient room (but clean), old furniture, old bath (with curtains).
If you're not looking for a new hotel, one furnitures from late 80 (1880), that might remind you of grandmother, this is the place for you.

Breakfast buffet was nice and as pictured.
Great restaurant on site.
Extremely friendly staff helping in organizing taxi transfers and arranging healthy baby food.
Need for some basic repairs of standard items
- bathroom (e.g. loose shower top, non-functioning thermostate for water temperature)
- safe: broken lock and as such out of use ...
Access to property is possible for everybody (not only hotel guests) from different sites without any control

The breakfast was great! For the wedding would be nice!

Beautiful place to stay, the staff were so welcoming and gave out free pizza and massages. A luxury venue, we loved it.
Nothing it was perfect

Breakfast was really delicious, the 2 restaurants were both absolutely fabulous and very good value for mkney! Reception staff very friendly and helpful and Sarah and Davida did an amazing job on service - they were absolutely great and we’ll miss them!
Beds are slightly firm, and there was noise quite late some nights from events, pesticide spraying etc. But other than that couldn’t fault it!
4.3
lovely grounds and pool.
stairs to get to room. not good for disabled
4.3
very mediocre …
the hot water did not work and we could not have a shower properly for 3 days ! Also you shoukd think of removing tub, and having a walk in shower . it was difficult for older persons like us to step into the tub to have a shower
4.3
Pool, nice spacious room with a wonderful bed for our little daughters, breakfast

The location was perfect for visiting other parts of Puglia. The building and annex are very pretty and the grounds are nice, but the thing we liked most were the people. All of the staff were helpful, friendly and professional and really wanted us to enjoy our stay.
We enjoyed the wine tasting at the Trulli ‘Nino’ and especial thank you to Tania who really made our stay.
Other facilities- The spa area is very nice and I had a Californian massage that was lovely and the gym was pretty well equipped.
We have 2 minor complaints, the bed was really quite firm for us so not that comfortable and there was a shower curtain in our room that has seen better days and needed replacing. Apart from that we were very happy with everything. Not a complaint as such but coffee /tea in the room would have been a bonus.

The service and hospitality provided by Giuseppe and Tanya. They did a great job!
The quality of the breakfast and the dinner were outstanding.
Location: In the center of Puglia.
Overall: excellent place to stay.
No idea.

We loved the location, the pool / park, the team, the dinners and wine are spectacular with Mr Guiseppe doing a great job explaining all with style. The breakfast with Ms Tania and reception Ms Antoniano. The team has worked internationally with multiple languages. Look forward to next time
We loved all

Great breakfast, great service and a really lovely place for a total relaxing escape. Not walkable to anything very exciting from the venue but this is part of the place's charm! Would definitely recommend, lovely poolside cocktails etc.
The pool could do with a really good clean and more maintenance, there was slimy algae type debris on the floor of the pool but it was not "unusable"
4.3
Breakfast was the best of any hotel in Puglia. The servers were wonderful and the food was delicious. There were many choices
It turned out it was a wedding venue and the weddings and parties, which took place right under our window each of the three nights we were there, made it impossible to sleep. The hotel compensated us by offering $100 off of our pool bar bill. Our total bill for three rooms came to well over $2000., so it was very little. They could have offered us a free dinner or comped us for a night, but they did nothing except offer to move us to another hotel for the last night. We stayed because it was over 100 degrees and we were traveling with children. It was just easier.
The hotel should not book our rooms when they know an event is planned. Check with the hotel before you book to make sure you will be able to enjoy your stay.

The breakfast and the spa facilities are very good

Location is great quite close to Martina Franca. Hotel staff in all areas ( eg reception, restaurants, pool) are very polite, very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Staff facilities and gardens are spacious and really very nice. Place we s quite and parking always available.
Hotel is pets friendly. Pet owners don’t follow hygiene rules always having pets sitting on restaurant chairs
A few problems that occurred on day 1 ( no hot water and room telephone were resolved very quickly).
Mobile telephony weak or no signal is a big problem in the wider Puglia area affecting Hotel as well. Good hotel wifi allows alternative connectivity.
