Tipptopp Lage, Preis Leistung unschlagbar.

Kleines niedliches unverfälschtes Hotel in absoluter bester Lage mitten im Stadtkern, 1 minute Fußweg und man befindet sich mitten im Trubel des Ortes mit sehr vielen Restaurants und Geschäften. Die Ausstattung war klassisch holzig und hatte seinen besonderen Charme, Wärme strahlte durch die Holzverkleidung des ganzen Zimmers aus und hatte uns sehr gefallen. Das Personal war aufrichtig, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr ausreichend für den Start in den Tag. Es gab diverse Säfte, sowie Tees und Kaffee zum selber zubereiten, aber und auf Anfrage, auch aus der Bar Espresso Cappuccino etc. Frisches Brot und Französische Baguettes, Croissants Mini Gebäcke, verschiedene Marmeladen, Joghurt, Müsli, diverse Wurst und Käse Aufschnitte sowie frisches Obst. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Also ich habe nichts negatives zu berichten.

A dreadful and disappointing experience.

The breakfast was okay.

The whole building smelled awfull like stale sweat or smelly feet, the decor was dreadful, bare walls on the stairway, stairway carpet was threadbare and worn through on almost every step, we were four floors up with luggage and no elevator, attic room with one tiny window so no view whatsoever, low ceilings, horribly dated varnished wood panelling throughout with garish red painted doors. Beds were small and uncomfortable, shower dirty with cracked tiles.

Good location and excellent breakfast.

The room is very old, the bathroom door was broken (we fixed it, you’re welcome), only one very thin pillow. Check-in is confusing.

Great stay at Chamonix

Location was perfect. Breakfast really good but in the building next to the hotel.

No elevator. Not a good space to leave ski boots etc.

Hotel is in the perfect location, the breakfast was lovely and the room although small was warm and clean.

Cheap and cheerful, very good location bang on in the centre of Chamonix with quick access to all the restaurants and bar. Great room size with great big shower and big towels.

Not enough plug in the room for your electronics, ski locker a bit tight when busy.

great location for centre of chamonix, clean and tidy and comfortable room. However on arrival I was given keys to a room on the 4th floor, not practical with a young child (aged 3)when expected to have to climb a literal mountain (so many steps) after a long day on the slopes! I let reception know I would need a different room. They were not particularly helpful, they found another room but made me pay the difference in price. I found that annoying as if I had known the room was inaccessible and would need to pay more I would of probably stayed somewhere with few more stars! I however agreed though they wanted to again overcharge me for the rate of the room. I looked on booking.com and showed the the room is considerably cheaper on the site (for the same dates) in which case they then agreed and honoured the cheaper advertised rate. I had stayed here before a few years back and really liked it, the people were really nice. I think it may have been bought out by a neighbouring hotel after covid and the attitude is not particularly good and basic customer service is not a priority.

Good stay overall.

Very good breakfast, the room was clean, the hotel is located very close to the big parking and to the center. Our room had an amazing view over the mountains.

The room is small and the bathroom even smaller. The reception and the breakfast are in another hotel located across this one. It can get noisy in the night due to the bars that are around the hotel.

Superb

Le Chamonix puts together the comfort of a hotel with a hostel's friendly and sharing atmosphere in its communal spaces.

It was not a problem, but the check-in and the breakfast take place in a different building (around 60 m apart).

Very poor

only + is the location

The room door couldn’t be locked, so when we left for a walk the room was unlocked. I announced at the reception but the issue wasn’ t fixed. Another big -.. no elevator. The floor was mouving in the 4-th floor in all the room. No soap at the handeashing basin , just a soap dozator fixed in the shower tub. For us it was the worst hotel ever. Very disapointed .

Wonderful place

Everything was just fine. The guys from reception are very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is amazing ! We could see the Mont Blanc on the window. The breakfast - yummy !!!

The fridge was available only on the ground floor and it was a shared one.
