Very nice and cute room with perfect location in the city center! Everything was great and staff was really friendly.

Great location
A bit noisy ( my room was beside the kitchen).
Card payments are not accepted.
Booking.com - Google maps directions for driving are slightly misleading. This is likely an issue with Google though.

The location is perfect right in the centre of the city, and the staff at the reception was very kind and hospitable. Beautiful view from the balcony
Unfortunately, we were settled into another room type because of the hotel fullness. On Booking we chose big deluxe room with bath, which was important for us, but got the times smaller room with shower, so the stay didn’t fully meet our expectations. Though, we received a discount from the hotel, and the staff was very nice

This is a nice place for a few nights in an old building close to town and in a quiet street. Clean and quiet rooms with ample bedding. Nice, friendly people running the hotel that are present sometimes.
I try not to waste water but it takes a lot of tap running to get the hot water to arrive. Good supply though.
It's a basic room as we expected but is a bit small to be carrying a double and a single bed. For us, one double and an extra table would have been more useful.
There is a car park nearby that is free on weekends but you need to pay 4-hourly on week days. Lucky for us that our stay was mostly over the weekend. Perhaps there is another alternative for week days.

This is a charming traditional guest house, run by a charming Beja family. Our room looked out on to a quiet street, which led us to all the nearby sights and amenities, and we had the most fantastic bathroom - huge and sparkling new. There is a wonderful small shaded courtyard, with 100 year old orange and lemon trees.
Beja is a lovely city, not too touristy, and we wished we had arranged to stay longer - and we'd have been very happy to stay longer at Hospedaria Santa Maria.

It has been passed down through a family and it’s very well taken care because of this.

Location
Basic, toilet on the other side. Only 2 bathrooms that get messy by end of day. Owner wanted to charge me an additional 3 Euro for keeping my bicycle in the garden.

The manager was very friendly and helpful with great knowledge of the local town. The room was great with two Juliette balconies, Aircon and a really comfortable bed. The original wooden window shutters were a nice feature and kept the sunrise out for a nice lie-in. The breakfast recommendation they gave us was great, delicious and so cheep. I'd love to come back and stay again!

Good location. Clean.

The room was very nice and cosy, and they even brought me a heater because it was cold.
They called me in the afternoon checking what time I was arriving so they would be ready to receive me.
The common areas were in quite poor conditions and a bit dirty.
It has mention of a private parking that you can even ask for on booking, but it is not specified that is only one street parking spot that might even be occupied. It was one of the extras I looked for since I was arriving with a lot of luggage in my car and wanted it to be safe during the night, and it did not correspond with the expected of a private parking.
