A great stay in a great villa.

An absolutely fantastic property, in a lovely quiet area located within a few minutes walk to the large Shopping Centre, where you have a variety of restaurants and shops. It’s also a 10/15 minute flat walk into old Faro. The owner is a very hardworking individual who ensured our stay was pleasant and was very helpful. On the way to the old town you pass the bus and train station also, so don’t really need a car or bus. The station is handy if you want to go for a day trip to Albufeira, where the bus meets you at the station, takes you to the bus terminal where you get a connection within minutes to the old town of Albufeira, this journey is within the timescale of one ticket costing €1.40.

Exceptional

It was a perfect place to stay! The house it a lot bigger than expected, with 4 double ensuite bedrooms. A huge living room and a big kitchen dinner. It was such a beautiful house with a lovely small swimming pool but was perfect size for a small group of people. The location was ideal as it was 5 minutes from Faro airport. My mother is hard to please but she fell in love with this place. The host was so lovely, my brother met him as he was surprising my mum. The host was so accommodating to him which was so lovely to hear!

That we didn't book this place for longer. If I had known this house would have been so beautiful in real life, we would have booked a longer stay.

Great Host - Book A Car If You Can

Host was absolutely brilliant. Very friendly and welcoming, showed us how things worked when we arrived. Host also let us check-in earlier than booked, which was much appreciated. We absolutely loved the bell chimes from the shopping centre (Forum Algarve) every 30 minutes.

More of a neutral point than a dislike. The area is very urban, and you do need to watch where you walk (animal poop). We didn't hire a car, so we spent most of the break in the apartment or in the Shopping Centre. Next time we will hire a car.

Amazing family stay in spacious 4-beedroom house with great host João

We had a great stay in the house. Joao is a very good host and welcomed us (with a bottle of red wine :-) The house is huge and spacious with 4 bedrooms and a bathroom with each. Joao runs a restaurant in Faro. We visited twice: Miminhos Caseiros...very nice Portugues tapas. You don't have to read the menu...João will explain everything. Free parking space right in front of the house

Kitchen could need some more equipment (e.g. wine glasses)

Lovely break with friends

Lovely villa - photos don't do it justice - it's huge! Three different outdoor areas (one at the front as you enter, with table and chairs and barbecue, one at the back with the pool, and one as a roof terrace) so you can always get the sun. 20 min walk into town or short, cheap Uber ride.

The kitchen could be better equipped, but that's not a problem if you're eating out. The villa is also a terraced villa, and one of the neighbours clearly hates that the villa is used as a holiday rental. Not a major problem, but worth bearing in mind if you like staying outside at the villa in the evening.

Very spacious villa in good location

We had a very good stay in this villa, the pool was cold that time of the year but we still enjoyed on sunny afternoon. The villa is conveniently located close to big shopping centre with plenty of options to eat. The old town is also very close, around 15-20 min walk. The host was very nice and let us stay little longer on checkout day. Overall our experience was great.

Absolutely stunning house in an amazing location - across from the Forum and shopping centre and within walking distance of old town and the train station to explore further afield. The house was immaculate and the owners met us on arrival with the keys and were so welcoming. Thank-you for the bottle of wine also - a really lovely touch! There was so much space in the villa and although it was near the busy roads it was lovely and quiet in the villa and outside by the pool. Outstanding value for money. Will definately be back

Best ever!

This is the best house I’ve ever been! The house is amazing! The location is great! There’s a comercial centre right away and everything is available including a private health clinic in case of emergencies. Excellent place for family or friends. The house was sparkling and it’s absolutely gorgeous! The owner is so nice and friendly! The pool is amazing! We loved every single moment in there! Thanks for having us!
