mooie banda’s en vriendelijk personeel . a nice Banda with good food and friendly staff
in de nacht soms veel geluid van de omgeving met luide muziek. de sound polution in Kampala is soms groot. kan het hotel echter niks aan doen en zal in heel Kampala hetzelfde zijn.
The sound pollution at night. But the hotel cannot do anything about it. It’s just the way it is in Masaka

Das Essen im Restaurant war der Hammer
Sehr freundliches Personal
Um 5 Uhr morgens wurden wir mit Alah Mikrofonen geweckt
Der Pool war saukalt 🥶🥶
Das Doppelbett entsprach einem grossen single Bett max Breite 1.40

Huge house for us 5, a very nice pool, a very nice restaurant with great vew from the terrace and very friendly staff. Great choices of food and good vine.
Even a laundry service.
After our Safari Tours further north the exact right place to relax, use the WiFi to report to the Loved once back home and sort out all our experiences.
Nothing to complain about.

The facility overall was very nice
Staff were friendly, helpful, and most professional and kind
Room was unreasonably hot. While we were given a fan after asking, the intermittent electricity made it unusable much of the night. The room was unpleasantly warm to sleep at night. I recommend you upgrade, if your budget allows, to the banda lodges which are very comfortable and cool at night.

It's always good to visit Masaka on the way to western Uganda, and we like Banda for its authenticity of either African bandas or Colonial villa, which had everything necessary for life: several comfortable rooms, furniture, books, board games, glassware and toiletries.
A bit of renovation is necessary in the open-air dining room and villa itself.
Only one room had double bed, all others only single ones, while the villa is for 2 families definitely.

Fantastic receptionist, although she seems to do everything. Her name is Angel and she really is one.
a bit too much traffic noise

Extremely friendly helpful staff (Angel deserves special mention). Pleasant atmosphere. Everything works. Nice view from restaurant.
The smaller rooms have shared bathrooms and toilets.

Friendly, hospitable, nice breakfast, value for money
Parking entrance was difficult due to road works

Food and staff were really good, nice location and pool. Room is small but has everything for a comfortable stay.
We asked for an upgrade because we were the only guests but it wasn't possible for no clear reason.

A spacious and very african looking lodge, with the pool. Good views from the top to the surrounding hills. Hearty breakfast. Dinner could be served on a lovely terrace.
The furniture and facilities were more or less clean but already very old with specific sounds. A fraction of windows did not close so at night it was quite fresh, when you want to get into warm plaid, which looks like was not cleaned for several visits. Two electric sockets were with poor contact. The area was without light at night, so it was quite uncomfortable.

A very wonderful place for holidays! Everything is perfect! A wonderful view over Masaka. And it is completely quiet.

Near the main road
Reserved hot water hours - however this profits eco tourism and power consumption, the hours did not fit into my schedule.

Could improve some of the food options

Very nice place near town center. Really good food (maybe the best french fries ever). Very clean, wonderful pool, nice bandas. We love it
It is in the city - so it was a bit noisy at night (Music outside the hotel)

I booked for a group of 17 people. We had a villa, a lodge and 2 double rooms. They were all comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
The bathrooms are basic with hardly any pressure in the water.

Location is next to the main (tarmac) road, but still quiet and relaxed. Nice pool! Beautifil sunset view.
The room with the bunk beds is very basic. Warm. No good mattresses.

Everything! what’s there not to like? the rooms, food, atmosphere, pool and staff. couldn’t be better. can’t wait to go again.

A lovely oasis of a lodge in Masaka, run by a Danish owner, clean and well kept, nice pool and a very good restaurant where both dinner and breakfast were rewarding. A kind, easy going team work there.
Wifi is a struggle in Uganda and it was again here, with a very weak on-off pattern. Payment by card is also a rereity in Uganda, and proved an overpromiose here as the machine wasn't working when I checked out.

good value, very nice and clean pool.
electricity went off during our stay, I know it’s not their fault, but the fact that the generator is not powerful enough to power the rooms is a problem.
we ordered pizza at the restaurant because nothing else was available, it was the worst pizza I ever ate, really bad. we had to wait 30 minutes for the lady to bring a petrol lamp at our table, she was putting lamps on every other empru tables but not on ours ! we heard people complaining about the restaurant as well. it’s not great.
we had to ask the reception to turn on the generator for our room, but when everybody left at night they turned it off again, we didn’t have any light in the room or in the toilets and shower yet the restaurant was lit, but empty because it was past 11pm! nobody was here anymore to put the power back in our room.
i don’t understand why putting light on empty tables and lighting an empty restaurant is more important than taking care of the guest that are actually here.

The breakfast was very good with all the food groups and enough food! However, it was the same meal everyday.
The wifi had some issues being consistent and there wasn't a ton to do in the location of Masaka- at least the reception didn't tell us of many things to do around the area.

Very clean and wonderfully maintained property and buildings. The pool was the cleanest we have seen in a long time and the food was excellent.

We stopped here on our way to Lake Bunyonyi. We were given a warm welcome by the staff. The lodge had a very nice and clean pool area for a relaxing dip.
Bed was a tight fit for two adults

Comfortable and large clean cottage (but their double room in the hostel part of the property has a better seating area), clean pool, tasty restaurant food.
Some confusion upon arrival on whether or not a double and a twin bed cottage should be offered at the same price.
