Excellent location, staff and food..

I can’t say enough about this beautiful property. We loved our stay here. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and happy. The room that we had came with a plunge pool and for the second room that we booked, we were upgraded. The food was excellent and the Jeep ride to explore the town was so interesting.
There was nothing that I did not like about the property.

Amazing property with unique views. We have spent 3 nights there and the experience was very good. The combination of everything give a special aura, I highly recommend to stay here. I would like to thank the General Manager and his team for the focus on every detail. I will come back, for sure.

The views from Fateh Garh were amazing as it was up in the mountains It was not very busy when we were there so the pool areas were mainly empty and it was nice to have a few days relaxing at the end of our holiday. The housekeeping/room service was excellent.
Overall, we were really disappointed with our stay. This was by far our most expensive hotel during our 2 weeks in India and we had booked it as a bit of a treat. Other than the guy who cleaned our room and one or 2 of the reception staff (Danesh included), the rest of the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful.
When we arrived, the staff insisted on taking our bags to our room, we don't mind and usually take them ourselves but the staff insisted. We arrived late at night and our bags took almost an hour to arrive to our room, despite us ringing down to reception twice as we wanted to go to bed but couldn't without our suitcases. The waitering staff at breakfast were rude and unhelpful, forgot our drinks orders on both days and we also had a very long wait for lunch one day despite the restaurant being fairly empty - it seemed as if they forgot until we asked after 40 minutes as to where our food was.
We had booked this for the location and loved being in the mountains, however the taxi service from the hotel was extortionate. We found we were able to get taxis much cheaper from Udaipur and then used these drivers for the rest of the trip.
The hotel itself is lovely but given the poor service is extremely overpriced. It was the worst hotel experience we had in India.

Everything right from the hospitality and care was excellent. The ambience was super and the food was way too delicious. The staff are very polite and docile. The experience of stay here is beyond praises. I highly suggest people to stay .

The resort is a esthetically designed and located at the top of a hill. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food and facilities are really good. Worth a visit!
The resort has too may stairs and no lift. Will be very tough for elders and people with knee problem

Location is superb. Rooms are spacious. Heritage look is very nice.
Food options could have been more. Staff at restaurant is quite helpful but need more professional training.

The staff go way above and beyond to help make your stay more comfortable, whether it's running over with an umbrella when it starts raining, packing you lunch for the road and more.

Location and view from the property were nice.
The property is run like a OYO room although the charge rate is that of a luxurious hotel. I and my wife got food poisoning after having breakfast on the last day. The staff is well-meaning but untrained. The interior of the rooms is underwhelming and nowhere looks like that of a 5-star hotel.

LOCATION - The location is really good. The views and vistas are beautiful. The sit outs of the hotels and the restaurant location overlooks the valley and gives a glimpse of the lake. However be prepared to walk uphill quite a bit because the property is on a hill and senior citizen will find it tough
STAFF - The staff was unhelpful, sometimes to the point of being rude. The service was slow, both at the restaurant as well as the sit out near the pool. Be prepared for your order to take min 45 mins or being forgotten entirely.
Upon being served lukewarm coffee twice, we asked to speak to the captain. There wasn't any available. The lady serving us said "coffee is served like this only here"
When asked for Aloo Paratha during breakfast, we were served without the usual accompaniment. Which was okay. But when we pointed out that it's usually served with pickle, the waitress asked "who has pickle with Aloo Paratha?" This was rude and left us wondering why has the hotel employed such people and not given them basic Training. There were many other instances where order was late, serving spoons missing, forgotten to give salt upon asking twice for it.
POOL - There are no changing rooms or showers near the common pools.
FOOD - The food is tasty but breakfast options are too few and not diverse enough. You'll get better options if you drive down to a nearby Dhaba.
Coffee lovers, you will only find Nescafe here. No espresso or coffee machine. This was doubly disappointing for someone like me who prefers a proper cup of coffee in the morning and was served lukewarm Nescafe (which was too strong and bitter) twice.
GENERAL - No buggy or assistance is available for senior citizen to be taken from point A to B. For a large property of with tough terrain this is a must. One of my aunts never could leave her room due to this problem.
You can get lost in th property because there are zero signs or directions on the property.
