About this villa rental
It was the house of our parents. We decided to use it to welcome
foreigners in a nice place situated in his beautiful part of france : Côte d'Azur !
Situated half way between Nice and Cannes, 2,7 kilometers from the sea, in a small village called Villeneuve-Loubet, the villa is on the hill of the village (no parking problems), with a splendid view on the valley from the large south terrace (50m2). From the north terrace (25m2), and from the lounge, there is a breathtaking view on the famous town of Saint Paul de Vence. Very peaceful, tastefully decorated and completely renovated, the villa has one double-bed bedroom and a office room with two beds opening on the large south terrace downstairs, and two other bedrooms on the first floor, one large room with a double bed, and the other room with two single beds (8 people).
The lounge and the kitchen have access to the north terrace.
There is a discount for long stay. The villa is secured for children.
2 bathrooms : one on the first floor with WC inside, the other one
downstairs is larger with a bath; the WC is separated.

Dominique is a very friendly host that warmly welcomed us at this unique location. The house is a bit older and has generous space inside and also two big terraces. The outlook is fantastic, even locals visit the nearby green to enjoy the sunset behind the surrounding hills. When staying there in summer, prepare for heat during the day and midges during the night.

We had a wonderful week in Côte d’Azur and this charming old house with the most incredible view, both from the panoramic window in the living room and the generous terrace looking down over the village!
Location was perfect for us, with just a five minutes walk down to the village where you’ll find a bakery, a small grocery shop and a few other shops and restaurants.
30 minuter of walking along the river will get you the the sea with a nice pebble beach where we enjoyed swimming even in beginning of November.
The shopping centre Polygone Riviera, which was super appreciated by my teenage daughters, is just a ten minutes walk from the house.
We had everything we needed in the house, but the wifi was at least not sufficient for three teenagers and it probably needs an upgrade!

Family Holiday
We had a wonderful stay in Villeneuve Loubet Village. The property is full of charm and character, had more than enough space for our three kids and four adults and Dominique was an excellent host.
We didn't have a car but instead rented bikes for getting around, which is great so long as you don't mind the hill up to the house! The village and surrounding area are lovely, with no shortage of places to visit, from the Loup rive, to the beaches, towns and villages close by and beyond. There's also a number of fun/activity parks in the area for the kids to enjoy.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and barely scratched the surface of things to do. We'd definitely come back again.

We would love to have given this property a four or five star review
We would love to have been able to give this property a four or five star review as it is a beautiful and characterful house, with many lovely pieces of antique wooden furniture; it has large and well equipped terraces and is in a great location, enjoying fabulous views over the village of Villeneuve-Loubet and the surrounding hills and towns. We had a great holiday (after the first week) and we regret that we can't give the property a better review for the reasons stated below.
During the first week the weather was not particularly warm, especially in the evening when we wanted to relax in the large salon/sitting/TV room and we were uncomfortably cold for several evenings during the first week. There was an open fire but on the second evening the unseasoned wood hissed with moisture and the fire went out. The small electric heater provided in response to our situation was totally inadequate. In the end we had to source and buy logs and kindling ourselves to heat the salon in the evenings. Our disappointment and annoyance could have been easily avoided by a couple of hours central heating for the salon during that first week but our request was refused.
The property particulars did not state that the master bedroom (double with ensuite upstairs) could only be accessed via the twin bedroom which was open to the stairs - this twin bedroom may be suitable for young children but was completely unsuitable for our adult guests. Had this access been made clear in the particulars we would have excluded this property when searching for a house.
As a result our adult guests had to use the bunk bedroom. This meant that the large terrace (which benefits from the morning sun and is only accessible via the bunk bedroom or the ground floor double bedroom) was only accessible via an occupied bedroom. We had scheduled our guests so that the bunk bedroom would not have been needed.

Amazing family house on a hilltop
This is a rare find -- a generous, wonderfully old-fashioned house on the top of Villeneuve-Loubet (Villlage, not Plage), overlooking green hills.
The house is charming, with a large lounge, a generous kitchen, good-sized bedrooms (one very large master bedroom with aircon). But what stands out are two large terraces. Mature trees around them provide ample shade and you can sit for hours there enjoying the view. You'll have two floors and the terraces entirely for yourself as a self-contained unit (there is a separate lower ground/garden apartment to the house but that never bothered us).
Villeneuve-Loubet is a lovely old village. A few minutes by foot down the hill you'll find an excellent boulangerie. You can also walk to the Loup river and enjoy the path along it (and dip your feet into the river).
The beach of Villeneuve-Loubet is best reached by car (or by bike, I imagine). It's part sand, part pebble, and quite large for a Cote d'Azur beach, away from the main street. Nice and Antibes are just a few minutes away, as is St. Paul de Vence.
We loved our stay and look forward to returning. I'd recommend this house to anyone who is looking for an authentic French family home in a stunning location.

Sehr schöne Alleinlage auf einem Hügel, sauber hervorragender panorama Blick nach mehreren Seiten. Etwas karge Ausstattung ohne Spülmaschinentabs oder Waschpulver.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt mit ausreichend Platzangebot und zentraler Lage
Das gepflegte Ferienhaus bietet ausreichend Platz für eine mehrköpfige Familie mit Hund und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man zur Selbstversorgung benötigt. Auch Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind vorhanden, Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Hausnähe. Gepflegte zentrale Lage mit guten Ausflugsmöglichkeiten entlang der Côte d´Azur von Menton bis Cannes sowie ins Inland, nah gelegen auch St. Paul de Vence (direkter Blick vom großen Wohnzimmerfenster auf St. Paul de Vence und Umgebung). Große Terrasse mit Elektrogrill und ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten und Liegen, ideal zum Sonnen. Lage oberhalb des alten Ortskerns. Im Sommer einige Musikfestivals (freier Eintritt) im alten Stadtteil z.T. bis Mitternacht, leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen, ebenso wie Bäcker, Metzgerei, kleiner Supermarkt und Post. Spazierweg entlang des Loup für Hunde zu empfehlen. Strand in wenigen Autominuten zu erreichen, etwas Geduld bei der Parkplatzsuche, im westlichen Teil kleiner Hundestrand. Unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe, gute Abstimmung und sehr freundliche Vermieterin.

Magnifique!!
Toutes la famille à passer d'excellentes vacances dans cette jolie maison bien agréable et au calme avec ses deux terrasses !! On a pu apprécier ses magnifiques vues en dehors ou à l'intérieur avec cette somptueuse baie vitrée!! Les commerces à proximité ainsi que la plage,c'était que du bonheur!!

Location idéale pour les familles nombreuses
Séjour très agréable avec un accueil chaleureux de la part de la propriétaire.
La description du logement et les photos sont tout à fait en harmonie avec ce que nous avons trouvé à notre arrivée.
La maison est tres bien équipée, grande avec deux grandes terasses. C´était un séjour magnifique.

Nous avons passé un séjour idéal avec un groupe d'adultes de 10 personnes. Maison de caractère, avec deux terrasses permettant le choix du soleil ou de l'air, un grand salon très convivial (table pour 10) avec baie vitrée dominant l'arrière pays.Situation élevée, vue exceptionnelle, parking sans limitation et calme de l'environnement. Equipement très satisfaisant au niveau cuisine et salles de bain. Chauffage impeccable (nécessaire encore à cette saison). Sympathie de la propriétaire, Mme Gauthier, s'enquérant de nos besoins éventuels. Rapport qualité-prix à mon sens exceptionnel également.

Super Ausblick, angenehmes Haus
Wir durften diese schöne Ambiente zu acht benutzen.
Die Hausherrin ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung ist einfach atemberaubend, ganz besonders der Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer ins Landes Innere ist sehr schön. Für 8 Personen bietet das Haus reichlich Platz, die Betten sind angenehm auch für so einen Rücken-beschädigten wie mich (Bandscheibenvorfälle). Die Lage hat es in sich, ob man nach Cannes, Nizza oder Monaco fahren will, innerhalb kürzester Zeit ist alles erreichbar. Wenn man dagegen nur das Mehr genießen will, ist das sogar zu Fuß möglich. Am Fluss entlang führt ein schöner Spazierweg dorthin. Summa Summarum sehr empfehlenswert, unkompliziert und auch preislich akzeptables Fehrienhaus.

Un séjour idéal
Aucune déception par rapport à l'annonce : 2 terrasses magnifiques, avec vue de tous cotés, une grande maison avec tout le confort...et, surprise, une immense baie vitrée dans le séjour qui nous permet de profiter d'un paysage provençal , de jour comme de nuit ( avec les lumières de tous les villages). La maison est au calme, ce qui est rare sur la Côte d'Azur, et donc d'autant plus appréciable.Quant à l'accueil de la propriétaire , il ne pouvait pas être plus chaleureux.
Mon seul souhait maintenant : Y retourner un prochain jour !
