Nicht wirklich schön

Die Lage des Hotel ist wunderschön, etwas außerhalb der Stadt. Sowohl im Hotel als auch am Rand befinden sich schön angelegte Reisfelder. Auch das Frühstück ist sehr gut, hier findet jeder etwas für seinen Geschmack. Das wars dann aber auch: Wir hatten bereits vor Anreise und nochmal beim Check in um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten. Unser Wunsch wurde leider nicht erfüllt, obwohl im hinteren Bereich des Hotels (u.E. ruhigeren Bereich) die Zimmer nicht ausgebucht waren. Beim Bezug des Zimmers dachten wir zunächst wir befinden uns auf einem "Jahrmarkt", Musik von der Straße außerhalb des Hotels (wofür natürlich das Hotel nichts kann), aber direkt über unser Eingangstür befand sich ein Lautsprecher aus welchem ebenfalls lautstark Musik trällerte. Wir fanden dies äußerst störend, da man sich im Zimmer dem Geträller ebenfalls nicht entziehen konnte. Zweimaliges Anrufen in der Rezeption blieben erfolglos, erst nach direktem Vorsprechen in der Rezeption wurde der Lautsprecher still gelegt. Statt die Silvesterfeier im großen Restaurant durchzuführen, wurde diese ab 21:00 direkt vor den Hotelzimmer durchgeführt. Die Lautstärke aus den Musikboxen vor den Fenstern verhinderte die Möglichkeit, für diejenigen, denen das Programm so gar nicht zusagte, sich entspannend zurückzuziehen bzw. überhaupt noch ein Gespräch zu führen.

Ferner musste wir bereits am ersten Tag feststellen, dass offensichtlich unter unserer Villa die Abflussrohre nicht so ganz funktionierten, Nicht nur das es im Bad muffelte, bei jedem Toilettengang musste kräftig mit Wassereimer nach gespült werden. Am dritten Tag traten dann die Abwasser aus den Fliesen hervor. Nach Beanstandungen wurde uns dann ein anderes Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt, gleiche Villa obere Etage, was die Sache nur bedingt gelöst hat. Was uns aber absolut gestört hat, war die Sauberkeit. 2 Tage lagen in der Dusche die Haarbüschel vom Vermieter. An zwei Tagen sind wir gegen 15:30 Uhr von der Tour zurückgekehrt, es waren weder Betten gemacht noch das Zimmer gereinigt. Erst nach Aufforderung kam dann gegen 16:00 Uhr der Reinigungsservice. Bei einem Zimmer für 300 EUR/Nacht nicht zu akzeptieren. Bleibt man nur eine Nacht (wie die vielen Touristengruppen aus China) bleiben einem diese Mängel verborgen, dann kann dieses Hotel vielleicht auch "punkten", für einen längeren Aufenthalt hat es uns jedenfalls nicht gefallen, M.E. ist bei diesem Hotel noch erheblich Luft nach oben, die Mängel sind hier offensichtlich im Management zu suchen.

What we arrived to was absolutely TERRIBLE! We arrived to the lobby where NO ONE was working. No valet or host to let us know what to do with our car. The lights in the lobby were off. No background / waiting music playing. Dead silence. Not a single person at a desk, coffee bar, or even on the whole lobby floor. It was as if we walked into an abandoned building! One which we were paying a decent amount of money to stay in! We actually had to shout out “sabaidee” in the hopes that someone might arrive and tell us how or where to check in. Finally a host arrived and got some people out actually sit at their desks again; but they were all wearing baggy sweaters like it was a chilled day at home! It was absolutely appalling. From that day (and my very clearly frustrated face) however, there was always someone in the lobby, with lights on, wishing you a wonderful day and offering help.

Very good

The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. But I think the breakfast was very poor. It did not meet my expectation.

The food was not great, it was very average. I expected 5 star breakfast but it was like breakfast in guesthouse.

Pleasant stay! I will definitely come back

it’s a bit away from main town but it’s really good location and we felt very exclusive away from the town. we booked deluxe room and it has bathtub and beautiful balcony. there is baggy service 24 hours so no need to walk from lobby to the room.

we liked everything about service, room, and facilities but it would have been perfect if the food was good!

This could just be my favourite hotel in Luang Prabang.

Everything from property, to location to team. Every detail was very well thought. The team is very well trained, to not just provide excellent service but exceptional customer delight. Being an ex-hotelier. I am impressed.

Stunning hotel but they need to work on the staff service levels

Beautiful setting with rice paddies throughout the hotel. Great facilities. Lovely escape from town.

Real shame that the hotel isn't doing more to be more sustainable (as the Pullman group tries to claim it is). Communicating with staff was challenging, not the level of service you expect from this hotel.

Room design and facilities, the atmosphere, surroundings and staff hospitality

The hot water didn't work for the entire stay, it was not warm at all. The hotel tried to fix the broken pipe and asked me to turn on the tap for 15 mn but it was the same. If they could fix this issue, they would get 9/10.
