About this villa rental
Calderiva Villa is located in Istria. It is situated on the outskirts of the city of Vodnjan – Dignano, on a plot of land of 3000 m2, of which 1000 m2 of garden, 500 m2 of parking space and 1500 m2 of olive grove suited for outdoor games (green volley, badminton, soccer etc.)
It can comfortable accommodate up to 10 people. It has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. Everything is very comfortable and well equipped.
It has 2 floors. On the ground floor there are the living room, 2 kitchens, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The stairs lead to the first floor where there are one bedroom and one bathroom.
The living room of 80 m2 is furnished with oak furniture and hand forged wrought iron, with attention paid to every detail. In the living room there are leather sofas and armchairs. There is also a particular antique table made from stone used in the past by farmers as a container for olive oil, later adapted by adding an oak lid and hand forged hinges in current use.
The dining room with a large table ideal for a greater number of dishes, can accommodate up to 12 chairs. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need (oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker...) and it is close to the outdoor dining area consisting of a table of 3,40 m and benches made from solid wood with a wooden shed. You can just as easily cook inside and serve food outside. The barbeque that is situated outside is very convenient and portable. It has 6 stainless steel burners, a grill and a side burner for side dishes.
Bedrooms and bathrooms – The 1st bedroom communicates with the living room and includes two sleeping accommodations (single or double), the 1st bathroom with shower. In this place there is also a kitchen that guests can use if they deem it necessary.
From the living room you enter the 2nd bedroom consisting of a double bed. Here you can use the 2nd bathroom with hydro massage shower and washing machine.
In the 3rd bedroom there is a bunk bed. You can also pull up a single bed. Here you can use the 3rd bathroom with shower. In this room there is another independent kitchen suited for breakfast served on the terrace of the room.
The 2nd and 3rd room can have a double function. They can be interconnecting rooms suited for a family with 2 children or they can be separate rooms if they are locked.
Upstairs there is the 4th double bedroom furnished with a large bed made from white leather, with a bathroom with bathtub.
The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning units. All rooms and bathrooms have a beautiful garden view.
The 4 bedrooms can accommodate 8 persons. It is possible to add 2 further sleeping accommodations in order to accommodate a total of 10 persons as follows: another single bed in the 1st bedroom, another single bed in the 3rd bedroom or a double sofa bed in the hall.
Garden – In the spacious garden there is an 8x4m swimming pool with exterior shower, sun loungers and parasols, a wooden shed equipped with table and benches. Under a tree in the shade there is another wooden table and two benches with their legs made from stone. The parking place is very large. The olive grove is equipped with nets and baskets for outdoor games.
Pets are allowed, the price is 10 euros per day for each animal, to be paid in cash on the day of arrival.

We are two families with children who stayed in this beautiful house in March 2024, and it was a great experience. The area is quiet and away from traffic. It is located a few kilometers from the beach and is close to historical cities such as Pula and Rovinj. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the historic center of the town. There are a few restaurants, two supermarkets, and a pharmacy, doctor, and vet located within 2 minutes away by car.
The structure is provided by a large parking lot. The garden is beautiful and it has a many plants and trees. From there, you can watch your kids play or swim in the pool while sitting and taking a rest in a cozy armchair. The house is very large and comfortable, with air conditioning. The kitchen is well-equipped. Everything looks great and is very clean. We had a wonderful holiday. The owners were very kind, available for all our needs, and provided us with all the necessary information. We will definitely return.

Elda is a great host. Lots of tips prior and during our stay, in particular the local town celebration evening on a Saturday evening which turned into one of the highlights of our trip.
The Villa is spacious and comfortably accommodated two families with older teenagers. The pool was also a big hit.
Vodnjan is a small town with everything you need within walking distance including supermarkets, bakers, bars and a few restaurants.
Activities nearby include diving, kayaking, paddle boarding, sea swimming, wine tasting, and exploring pretty coastal towns (Rovinj is worth a trip).
There is a church nearby where the bells strike at 7 each morning but this didn’t spoil our stay.
My only suggestion would be extra pillows for those who would like them on the beds.

Die Vermieter waren bereits im Vorfeld gut erreichbar und absolut hilfsbereit, was sich vor Ort auch bestätigt hat. Sehr herzlich und freundlich wurden wir in Empfang genommen und während unseres kompletten Aufenthalts jederzeit gut betreut. Einfach fantastisch. Vielen Dank an die tollen Vermieter!
Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gepflegt und geräumig. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt und hätten es dort gut und gerne auch deutlich länger als zwei Wochen ausgehalten. Der Pool war immer sauber und 2x/Woche kam der Poolservice.
Wir haben zwei Wochen lang reichlich Ausflüge unternommen, viel gesehen und erlebt. Es war einfach rundum ein fantastischer Urlaub für uns als Familie mit Großeltern, unseren Kindern und unserer Labrador-Hündin.

Als wir an der Villa ankamen,wurden wir ganz herzlich von unseren Gastgebern empfangen.Sie erklärten und zeigten uns alles und gaben auch Tips fpr unseren Aufenthalt,wofür ich sehr dankbar war.Diese schöne Villa löste bei uns allen sofort einen Wouw-Effekt aus😊.Sie ist mit ganz viel Liebe eingerichtet,groß und geräumig.Und läßt keine Wünsche offen.Alles ist sehr sauber.Auch der große,schöne Garten und der Pool.Zum Empfang stand für uns eine große Schale leckere Kirschen aus dem Garten auf dem Tisch.Der Garten hat mehrere schöne Sitzecken und es duftet herrlich nach dm dort gepflanzten Oleander.Die Gastgeber sind ganz herzliche Menschen.Sie stehen für alle Fragen immer sofort bereit.Ich habe mir nämlich immer gerne Tips für Unternehmungen eingeholt😊.Hier fahren wir immer wieder gerne hin😊.

Super Ferienhaus
Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern (3-7) zu Gast in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus und hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt.
Umgeben von einem gepflegten Garten mit einem schönen Pool und einer tollen Lounge befindet sich das Haus in einer ruhigen Straße am Ortsrand. Die Kinder konnten sich super austoben und haben durch den guten Abstand zu den Nachbarn auch niemanden gestört.
Hervorzuheben ist außerdem noch die tolle Sauberkeit des ganzen Hauses und der freundliche und schöne Empfang durch die Gastgeber.

Toller Urlaub und sehr nette Vermieter
Der Urlaub war insgesamt sehr schön. Das Objekt ist toll und liegt sehr gut. Man kann von dort schnell viele tolle Strände erreichen.
Nur 4 Sterne, weil gewisse Basics (Pfeffer, Salz, Zucker, Kaffee etc.) in der Grundausstattung wünschenswert wären.
Ingesamt aber echt top!!!

Toller Urlaub
Wir, das sind 3 Familien (6 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder im Alter von 2 1/2 Jahren und 7 Monaten) und 1 Hund hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem tollen Haus. Platz im Haus und im eingezäunten Grundstück ohne Ende.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

100% Weiterempfehlen
Das Haus, Garten und Pool sind sauber und gepflegt. In der Nähe gibt es einen Bäcker, ein kleines Geschäft und eine Bank. Die Strände erreicht man mit dem Auto in 10-20 Minuten, es gibt auch genug Parkplätze. Die Vermitter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wieder kommen.

Toller erholsamer Urlaub
Hvala, Elda für den herzlichen Empfang. Wir, 2 Erwachsene und zwei Teenager waren zwei erholsame Wochen in der geräumigen und hellen Villa Calderiva. Entspannung pur! Pool war sauber und erfrischend. Eine super bequeme Lümmellounge im Garten mit Sonnenschutz tat ihr Übriges. Und wenn es mal langweilig werden sollte, sind Pula, Fazana und Rovinje in stressfreier Nähe. Alle sehr empfehlenswert. Auch die Ausstellung der St. Blasius Kirche in Vodnjan ist ein Besuch wert.
Wenn wir wieder nach Kroatien kommen, dann in die Villa Calderiva.

Una casa stupenda e una ospite molto gentile
Abbiamo soggiornato in 3 adulti e 8 bambini, e la casa era perfetta per le nostre esigenze. Grandi spazi comuni, stanze spaziose, giardino per giocare, e soprattutto la piscina che i ragazzi si sono goduti dalla mattina alla sera.
La proprietaria è disponibile e cordiale e parla un perfetto italiano.
La zona è tranquilla e silenziosa, servita, e il mare di questa zona è stupendo.
Sicuramente una ottima esperienza da tutti i punti di vista.

Unsere Vermieterin Elde und ihr Mann sind sehr nett und sehr Hilfsbereit.

Ein toller Aufenthalt
Wir waren mit zwei Familien in dem Haus, es hat uns sehr gefallen. Der Pool war super, tagsüber für die Kinder, Nachts für die Erwachsenen. Die Küche und die Möbel im Wohnzimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und würden mal eine Erneuerung vertragen, aber das Gesamtpaket stimmt. Wir gehen gerne wieder dahin.

Wir waren mit 2 Familien in diesem Haus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr praktisch, dass jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Badezimmer hat. Elda und ihr Mann sind sehr nett.

Ferien in vodnjan
Ich war 2 Wochen mit meiner ganzen Familie, Kinder und Enkelkinder in der Villa.
Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Nähe zu Pula und Rovinji ist sehr gut.
Elda und ihr Mann haben uns perfekt betreut und waren für Fragen immer erreichbar.
Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren mit zehn Personen hier in der Villa Calderiva.
Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen.
Das Haus und der Außenbereich waren sauber und haben unsere Erwartungen voll übertroffen.
Die Kleinstadt Vodnjan lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Ein Traum, man brauch hier kein Venedig.
Die Strände von Fazana sind nur fünf Kilometer entfernt und perfekt.
Wir hatten zwei Wochen super erholsame Urlaub.
Wir werden wieder kommen.

Schönes Objekt
Das Haus ist hervorragend. Wir waren mit 2 Familien ( 6Kindern) dort und haben uns in der Woche sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als die Spülmaschine ausfiel, Hartmann diese noch am selben Tag ausgetauscht. Auch hat man uns sehr gute Tipps gegeben z.B. wo man Einkäufe am besten erledigen kann und welche Freizeitangebote es gibt. Es war alles perfekt! Vielen Dank nochmal !!!

Really nice house and cosy city
We stayed at Villa Calderiva for 14 days, and enjoyed every minute of it. The house was nice and clean and spaceous enough for our entire family, and the same goes for the pool. There are a lot of different sightseeing in the area, and it was nice driving around the country seeing a lot of the history in Croatia. We can for sure recommend staying at this beautiful house in Vodjnan; we will definitely come back someday :)

Perfekte Unterkunft und für Familien
Der kleine Ort Vodnjan befindet sich ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt von Pula. Das Ferienhaus befindet sich am Ortsrand von Vodnjan, in einer sehr wenig befahren Einbahnstraßen, was super angenehm war, weil es entsprechend ruhig war. In Vodnjan selbst gibt es, neben dem sehr leckeren Olivenöl, ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, eine Tankstelle, einen sehr guten Bäcker (Name leider vergessen, schräg gegenüber der Poststelle), einen Kinder-Spielplatz und eine handvoll Restaurants, und natürlich vieles mehr. Alles ist im Umkreis von ca. 1km und fußläufig erreichbar. Das Restaurant Maslina, das sehr zu empfehlen ist, ist ca. 3 Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt.
Wir haben mit zwei Familien (4 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder) Urlaub gemacht, was wirklich sehr gut funktioniert hat, weil das Haus entsprechend groß war, und jedes Zimmer eine eigene Dusche und WC besaß und "man" sich somit nicht in die "quere" kam.
Die offene Küche war gut ausgestattet. Es gab ausreichend Teller, Besteck und Töpfe. Gewürze etc. waren nicht vorhanden und mussten separat gekauft werden, was für uns aber kein Problem war. Sehr schöner großer Kühlschrank samt Gefrierschrank, gute Spülmachine und gute Waschmaschine mit genug Aufhängmöglichkeiten.
Der Außenbereich, mit dem wunderschönen und wohltemperierten Pool, lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Eine Außendusche, die von uns ausgiebig genutzt wurde, ist auch vorhanden. Wir konnten die Kinder abends direkt nach dem schwimmen bzw. spielen unter die Dusche stellen. Das war super!
Der wunderschöne Kiesstrand von Fazana ist ca. 8 Autominuten entfernt. An dem Strand gibt es eine sehr große Wiese mit vielen natürlichen Schattenplätze. Das Wasser war kristallklar und auch im Juni schon sehr angenehm warm.
Die Orte Rovinj (20min) und Motovun (25min) sollten definitiv besucht werden, wenn man in Istrien Urlaub macht.
Ein großer Dank geht an Elda und Familie, die sehr unkompliziert sind und immer super schnell geholfen bzw. geantwortet haben. Vielen Dank ist seid großartige Gastgeber. Macht weiter so!!
Zwei Verbesserungsvorschläge, die wir an der Stelle noch hätten:
Am Abend knallt die Sonne sehr auf die Esstafel draußen, etwas mehr Schatten wäre super.
Wir sind es gewohnt im dunkeln zu schlafen, die Zimmer sind größtenteils mit Vorhängen ausgestattet. Rolläden wäre klasse.
Alles in allem beide Daumen hoch für Elda und Familie, das Ferienhaus und das kleine Örtchen Vodnjan.

Top Urlaub
Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Das Haus liegt zentral auf der westlichen Seite von Istrien. Von da aus erreicht man sehr schnell viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und auch verschiedene Strände. Der Pool und auch die Ausstattung des Hauses sind super. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe, Essen gehen kann man auch. Eine Runde Sache:)

Great house, lots of space. Pool was cold but refreshing in the heat! Elda and her husband were very welcoming and explained all about the local area which was really helpful. This part of Croatia is beautiful and I would recommend it.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit vielen Möglichkeiten - in Haus und Garten wie auch in der weiteren Umgebung
Grosszügig eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, viel Platz, gepflegte Umgebung, wunderschöner Pool, ruhige Lage. Freundliche Vermieterin, die vor und während den Urlaubstagen sehr schnell und hilfreich Fragen beantwortet. Auch Anfang Oktober ist der Pool noch gut nutzbar (auch wenn er keine 20° mehr hat), die Lufttemperatur ist angenehm warm, es gibt viel Sonnenschein. Das touristische Angebot in der Umgebung (Strände, Höhlen, Funparks usw.) ist um diese Zeit schon etwas ausgedünnt, aber es gibt nach wie vor viele Möglichkeiten, um eine gute Urlaubswoche zu gestalten, sodass auch Menschen mit unterschiedlichen Bedürfnissen auf ihre Rechnung kommen. Definitiv ein Ort, der weiterempfohlen werden kann.

Sehr schöner Urlaub in einem tollen Haus
Uns (2 Familie, je 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) hat der Urlaub in diesem Haus sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz, hat einen tollen Garten und einen sehr schönen Pool. Bei unserer Anreise war alles sehr sauber. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist im Großen und Ganzen sehr gut, uns hat es an nichts Wesentlichem gefehlt. Den Gasgrill haben wir sehr gerne benutzt :-). Die Vermieter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf Anfragen wurde immer sehr schnell reagiert und als uns die Kaffeemaschine kaputtgegangen ist, wurde diese noch am selben Tag ausgetausch - besser geht's nicht :-). Die Lage hat uns auch gut gefallen. In nur wenigen Minuten kann man die Küste erreichen, im Ort kann man alle Dinge für den täglichen Bedarf kaufen (Supermarkt 2. Min. mit dem Auto, Bäcker fußläufig erreichbar) und bei Bedarf kann man die größeren Supermäkte in Pula mit dem Auto in 15 Min. erreichen. Wer gerne auch in eine Stadt fährt ist in 20 bis 25 Minuten in Pula, Rovinj oder Medulin. Das kleinere Hafenstädtchen Fazana ist nur ca. 10 Minuten entfernt. Zum Kap Kamenjak im Süden sowie zu den Städten uns Wasserparks im Norden (Porec und Novigrad) ist man 40 bis 50 Min. unterwegs.

Tolles Haus, super Betreuung der Vermieter, super Lage, toller Ort, rundum sehr zufrieden
Wir waren zu 9 (4 Erw. +5 Kinder) und haben uns alle sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool wurde 2-3 wöchentlich extern gereinigt. Nach 1 Woche bekamen wir von den Vermietern frische Hamdtücher u Bettwäsche. Gegen Mücken waren Fliegengitter an den Fenstern. Top! Alle Klimaanlagen liefen. Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine voll funktionsfähig. Kühlschrank war bei unserer Anreise mit Wurst u Käse gefüllt. Da könnte ein zweiter Kühlschrank her. Bei der Personenanzahl war es schon mal eng.....
Fahrräder, Gesellschaftspiele und Liegen inkl Auflagen, Schirme, Tische u Stühle waren am Pool und alles war so sauber. Alles sehr gepflegt. Internet vorhanden, war aber manchmal schlecht, wenn wir mit 9 Personen im Netz waren.
Zum Strand sind es 6 km. Dort zahlt man keine Parkgebühr. Man kann da auch super joggen! Das Örtchen Vodnjan ist traumhaft schön!! Alles ist da. Vom Bäcker bis Apotheke. Bars und Spielplätze. sehr schön ist auch der Park. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir brauchten für eins der Kinder ( natürlich Sonntags) einen Arzt inkl Apotheke. Alles hat uns Elda genannt und uns geholfen. Abend hat sie sich noch mal nach dem Kind erkundigt.
Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden und hatten eine tolle Zeit dort. Wir kommen wieder!!

sehr sauberen und gepflegten Villa. Der große Garten war ebenfalls sehr gepflegt, der Pool war sauber und wurde zweimal in der Woche gereinigt. Im Garten befand sich für unsere Kinder ein Spielhaus, eine Rutsche, drei Hutschen und ein Kindertisch mit Stühlen und Bank.
Der große Holztisch im Garten ist sehr stabil und der Grill lässt keine Wünsche offen. Im Garten gab es überhaupt unzählige Sitz- oder Liegemöglichkeiten.
Die Lage war für uns sehr gut, wir machten Mountainbiketouren oder besichtigten die umliegenden Städte wie Pula, Medulin und Rovinj. Der nächste Strand in Fazana ist ca. 10 Fahrminuten entfernt, direkt am Strand waren auch ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Ein großer Supermarkt ist in 2 Minuten erreichbar, zum Bäcker kann man leicht jeden Morgen zu Fuß gehen.
Das Haus ist wirklich nur weiter zu empfehlen.

Das Haus ist super! Viel Platz, toller Pool, alles sauber!!!
Wir waren mit 3 Familien vom 19.8.-02.09.17 zu Gast bei Elda und ihrem Mann. Das Haus ist riesig, der Pool ist prima und zu den verschiedensten Stränden sind es nur wenige km.
Sollten irgendwelche Probleme auftreten, ist Elda jeder Zeit über Handy, WhatsApp erreichbar gewesen und das Problem in kürzester Zeit geklärt gewesen! Super! Kann man nur weiter empfehlen!

Schönes Haus super gepflegt
Hallo Elda wir hatten einen so schönen Urlaub bei Euch .Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus und sehr gepflegt.Sehr nette Gastgeber immer zur Stelle wenn was ist und nicht aufdringlich.Kühlschrank war mit Wurst und Käse bestückt toller Empfang.Kommen wieder.

Fantastic house, even more fantastic host!
I have rented houses and apartments at least 10 times in the past and this was by far my most pleasant experience ever with a vacation rental. Elda, the owner, was very quick in responding to any questions we had. She and her family were also easy to reach and very responsive when we had any issues during the rental.
The house itself is great. Beautiful pool, wide open living space inside, very clean, huge yard for the kids to play and Vodnjan is a great little village that is off the beaten track for tourists, while being a short drive to beaches, vineyards, other historic centers, etc.
Would highly recommend staying here, and also recommend this area to anyone who is visiting Croatia. Thanks for everything Elda!

J'ai loué des maisons et des appartements au moins 10 fois dans le passé, mais ceci à été de loin mon expérience la plus agréable avec une location de vacances. Elda, le propriétaire, était très rapide à répondre à toutes les questions que nous avions. Elle et sa famille étaient également facile d'accès et très réactif quand nous avons eu des question ou besoins spéciaux pendant la location.
La maison elle-même est superbe. Belle piscine, grand espace de vie ouvert à l'intérieur, très propre, immense cour pour les enfants et Vodnjan est un petit village qui est hors des sentiers battus pour les touristes, tout en étant à courte distance en voiture des plages, vignobles, autres centres historiques, etc. .
Je recommande vivement cette maison, et aussi cet endroit à tous ceux qui visitent la Croatie. Merci pour tout Elda!

We had a very nice time in this lovely villa! Plenty of space for the kids both indoors and outdoors! Fenced, private and beautiful garden. Nice pool and poolarea, super big dining place outdoors with a huge grill! The owner was very welcoming, and helped us out with any questions we had! With car you can explore the coast and nice villages around Istria. All bedrooms had aircondition, that was perfect! A quiet city with a couple of nice restaurants, otherwise you can go to Pula which is only a 10 km drive. Thank you Elda for letting us stay in your very nice home and for your grate hospitality!
