Everything was great! Huge house with everything we needed!
3.0
The house is pretty and in a great location. However, it was not nearly clean enough. There were dirty clothes under multiple beds; the master bathtub was filthy and debris actually shot out of the jets when turned on; the shower head in the upstairs bathroom was filthy and had to be cleaned before we could use it; one of the beds was covered in dog hair; one of the beds was missing entirely and we found it propped against the wall in the basement.

This house had plenty of space for our family of 9. Centrally located - easy to get to Provincetown and the western end of Cape Cod. Really nice decor and fully stocked. Quiet neighborhood! We will stay here again!

This was my family's first trip to Cape Cod. This house was perfect and in a great/central location. Easy to get to Provincetown and Woods Hole within 45-50 minutes. House was fully stocked with the necessities and tastefully decorated. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

Great property for a larger group
This beautiful house worked very well for a group of 7 women on a weekend getaway. The house is spacious and well laid out. The large kitchen and fire placed gathering area is where we spent most of our time while at the house. The house is a short ride into downtown Chatham.
While the house is in need of some repairs: the toilet in the master bathroom continuously runs, the side door lock was difficult to work, the front main door doesn't lock (although the storm door does lock), and the back slider is also in disrepair. This proved to be a slight annoyance throughout the weekend and if repaired would make this a 5-star property.
The house was well equipped and clean. Plenty of space for a large group; easy to cook and prepare meals, etc. Some of the cabinet doors in the kitchen opened 'backwards' and there were loads of light switches that didn't seem to turn anything on or off. Despite the annoyance with the locks, and these other minor things, we were very pleased with the house and I would stay there again if the doors and locks were upgraded and repaired.

Very nice property, well maintained and clean
We were very pleased with the property. It was well maintained and clean upon our arrival. We had 3 adult senior couples. The accommodations and furnishings were very adequate and well done.

We have stayed in Cape Cod before but were disappointed with the house and the area. This trip was completely the opposite. Suggest this spot and home to any family or groups of 3 travelling together. The Hamilton’s (Ottawa, Canada)

Beautiful property located close to everything.
Our family loved this house. All the amenities you could ask for and then some. Mr Molina was very nice to deal with and extremely helpful in getting things in place for our visit. Even during our stay if we had a question he was always available via text or a call.

A great August 2016 vacation
We had a wonderful time at this home! It is stocked with everything you will need for your family vacation: beach chairs, towels, bikes, umbrellas. The location is very desirable, right between Chatham and Harwich, 1 1/2 miles from Forest Beach (no town pass required).
The house is situated with a private back yard with 2 grills and picnic tables and a separate fire pit seating area for the perfect smores making session. The master suite is located on the 1st floor while there are 2 other large bedrooms upstairs with tons of space for kids and clothing. The kitchen is modern and new with an open floor plan allowing a view of the family room with a wet bar; you are always part of the party, even when you are preparing dinner. The house is very clean and well maintained. The bedding was very high end and the home decoration made us feel like we we were staying on the beach front resort. All first class! And the best part of this home was the central AC that was essential during our stay. It was the hottest August on record for most of the northeast and this air conditioner was a blessing!
Our family had such a great time and truly enjoyed staying at this Chatham home. We would recommend it to everyone!

Beautiful home, very clean and great location!
This was our first time on Cape Cod and we could not have chosen a better relaxing place to stay. Our son was playing summer ball there and we found this place listed on VRBO. We were more than satisfied with this house, it was very clean, spacious and a quite location. The owner Al is a great guy and came by to make sure all was going good. I highly recommend staying here if you have a large family as it has plenty of beds and room. In the backyard there are several grills including gas, charcoal, fire pit and picnic tables. We to Chatham to the Fish Pier and bought fresh lobster and grilled them on the grill. Grocery stores and restaurants were just around the corner.

Wonderful home for a family stay
This is a cozy home with plenty of space for two families. We stayed for a week, and our group included two adult couples and four children total (ranging in age from 5 to 12). Everyone had a comfortable bed and shared bathroom, and there was plenty of space to cook, eat, play games, and lounge around the TV. The back yard and fire pit were also fantastic (we had a great night making smores). The owners were incredibly gracious and friendly with suggestions and anything we needed. Great location--fairly quiet but close to everything.

Cape Cod Summer
For a fun-filled and comfortable trip to the Cape, you could not find a better place to stay. The owner is extremely generous with his property and makes you feel right at home. You will find everything you could want for a comfortable and relaxing vacation at the residence, including spacious bedrooms with plenty of space to sleep larger families, if needed. The home is clean, a short distance to many interesting Chatham attractions, and was well beyond a typical rental property. If I am back in the area in coming summers, I would definitely hope to stay here again.

Great Cape Cod Spot
Our entire family decided to take a Cape Cod vacation together and needed a good sized vacation home. This property worked out perfect. All the rooms are of a good size and everyone had plenty of privacy. The home was clean and very well stocked. There were even beach chairs and umbrellas. The owner was an excellent communicator and could not have been nicer. There were no hassles getting our deposit back at the end of our stay. The next time in the area we will want to stay at this property again.

Summer on the Cape
My wife and I stayed at this residence from July 5th-July 12th. We generally don't take the time to post reviews, but rather vote with our money. I happened upon the Fairfield review. Having read it I felt it incumbent upon us to place a review based on our stay. Prior to arrival our communication with the owners was nothing less than pleasant and cordial. Upon arrival we found the premises to be immaculate and meticulously maintained. We were made aware of the no pet policy. The location is central to Cape Cod and minutes from Chatham center. Our security deposit was in our bank account within three days after our stay. It is out of a sense of equity that we write. The thought that came to our minds upon reading the Fairfield review was a quote from the Great Bard. We paste its wikipedia illustration here as we feel it so keenly apropos.
"The lady doth protest too much, methinks" is a quotation from the 1602 play Hamlet by William Shakespeare. It has been used as a figure of speech, in various phrasings, to indicate that a person's overly frequent or vehement attempts to convince others of something have ironically helped to convince others that the opposite is true, by making the person look insincere and defensive.
In rhetorical terms, the phrase can be thought of as indicating an unintentional apophasis - where the speaker who "protests too much" in favor of some assertion puts into others' minds the idea that the assertion is false, something that they may not have considered before.

Pet and smoke free???
Property is supposed to be pet and smoker free..BUT my son was sneezing the whole half-week we spent there. Cars drive up to 50+ miles along the street, so be careful if you are bicycling with less experienced bikers toward the bike path. Driveway is topped with gravel and on incline toward the house so it was really tough to get up and down with a van of bicycles in tow, without skidding. House inside has definitely been LIVED IN. Lastly, beware of "cleaning fee", which is not mentioned in the initial contract but imposed on you after your stay when you ask for your security deposit back. Owner claims housekeeper smells scent of "cigarette smoke" after our stay, cites fabricated damage to some door mat to try to justify withholding security deposit. Owner managed property from another state, and as such, was not able to give us prompt access to the home on the arrival date since his house cleaner locked up the storm door of the house. Still waiting for return of our full security deposit and propane refill refund. Recommend you take pictures for the whole house upon arrival and departure if you rent this one.

Last Hurrah Before School Starts
I would like to say that we had an absolutely awesome time!! From the weather to the house and the food everything was amazing!! We all got to experience whale watching, watching sea lions, eating lobster, visiting Martha's Vineyard and Provincetown along with several days at the beaches around Chatham. We even went into one of the oldest lighthouses around. with all that said we couldn't have asked for a better way to end our summer vacation!
