The location was excellent, the owners/landlords were always available and accommodated all our needs. We had lots of comfortable indoor space and a beautiful outdoor courtyard. If we ever go back to Faro, this is where we would want to stay.

Excellent location, in fact, the best there is in Faro. Inside the old city walls, you are excluded from the loud noise of tourists. However, a few blocks, and you have the whole city in front of you. This apartment was spacious, well-suited for the needs of myself and visiting guests. I stayed here a month, and truly felt like it was my home. You can fully immersed yourself in the Portuguese culture in this location. The courtyard offered peace, serenity, and occasionally a warm and welcoming bom dia or boa tarde. Fernanda was on top of anything that I needed. My guests were also blown away, not only by the location but, the friendliness of Fernanda and her husband. I would truly recommend not looking any further than this apartment. It is above and beyond an exceptional place to stay.

Can’t say enough positive things about our stay in this apartment. From the first day, Fernanda, the owner was helpful and accommodating. The apartment was immaculate in spite of the fact that it was behind the walled city in the old part of town. Location location location! We were able to walk everywhere. Shopping was easy, restaurants, and charming plazas world well within walking distance.

Wonderful property
This property was more than what we expected. There were two of us so we each had our own room and bathroom. The private garden was a great place to have breakfast and relax at night with a glass of wine . Great restaurants and so much to see and do within a short walking distance. Fernanda was a wonderful host and the bottle of wine she had there for us was a nice surprise. Of all the places we stayed in Portugal this was our favorite. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Fernanda.

Good stay in Faro, Portugal
This is a very nice apartment within the old town walls of Faro. We loved the small interior garden with its own orange/lemon tree—yes it was grafted and had mature fruits of both kinds in abundance. There are very good restaurants within a few minutes walk. The area has a goid, safe feeling. We would recommend this apartment without reservation.

Another lovely stay
Very comfortable and well located within the walls of the old town. We’ve stayed here before and always enjoy this lovely courtyard property with it’s close proximity to many bistros and restaurants. Fernanda and her family are friendly and happy to help ensure an enjoyable visit.

Great location. Wonderful town.
A wonderful two bedroom apartment in the old town of Faro.
Frederica, the owner, was easy to contact and immediately responsive. The garden was lovely and we loved our stay. A train ride to Tavira was a great way to spend a day and when in Faro definitely listen to fado and eat at the Italian restaurant, Ostetia. Sandra from Boston

They owners were very accommodating and eager to please.
There was a problem with ants that we complained about and they did put a powder around

We wish that we could have stayed longer. We will be booking again, next year we hope.

Great location!
Great location for Faro. Very quiet with lovely little court yard to have your breakfast in.
A short walk from the tourist office and the marina where all the boat trips leave from. There’s also a taxi rank 4 minutes walk away.
Loads of eateries within an easy walk too.
You can’t go wrong with this gentle place. Faro was also a great place to spend a couple of days - loads to do, the bird spotting boat trip was particularly good.

Great location in old part of city
Great location in the old part of the city with waterfront, ferries and lovely restaurants a stone's throw away. Very friendly and helpful owner. Property extremely clean and well equipped with all you would need for a self catering stay. Pretty sunny courtyard for those relaxing glasses of rosé after a long day of sightseeing.

Excellent location
Stayed April 13-18. This was an excellent location. Located in the Old Town which is essential close to most anything you will want to do. Lots of space. Clean. We were cold in the living room and kitchen even though a heater was provided. Each bedroom had a heater/AC unit so temperature was great in those rooms. I think is warmer months the coolness of the home would be welcome. Just was not great for our time of year. Would recommend!

Delightful location.
Perfect home away from home in the Center of old Town. Cosy courtyard with outside table and chairs. Lemon & orange tree a treat. Kitchen well set up for self catering. We stayed a month so needed to self cater. Lovely hot shower too. Also we had bicycles so the courtyard was very safe and secure for them. Fernanda a lovely host thank you for all.

Clean, comfortable, excellent location, sweet hosts
I recommend this apartment, however be forewarned that the wifi only really worked in the kitchen and front bedroom, and on our last day it didn't work at all, not sure why. So if a good internet connection is important, I would not choose this place. That said, the beds were very comfortable, the place was clean, and the hostess left us a bottle of orange wine, as well as four Portuguese traditional pastries -- a very nice start to our stay!

Comfortable home away from home with lovely courtyard, personal touches and fantastic location.
Faro is our new favorite town. It is the perfect size, extremely safe and easy to get around and very historic. The old town is full of delightful buildings and tile art and beautiful sidewalks made of 3 colours of limestone arranged in many different patterns and images. Fernanda made us very welcome and we loved that she lives upstairs, it adds a personal touch and is reassuring. We highly recommend the free walking tour that meets at the tourist info office, and Marcel as guide. We also highly recommend the tourist info office where we were given perfect directions as to how to get to Parque Ria Formosa by local bus. Do not miss the Parque. Enjoy!

Great location
This was all about location for us as 4 ladies on a week away and not wanting to drive. On the map, look for the arc de Vila go through and it’s the first road on the left.
The old town is simply beautiful and you really get to soak up the atmosphere.
The apartment is well equipped, everything we needed. Very safe with a main communal door and then a main door to the apartment. The owners live upstairs and work in rooms that come off the quaint courtyard area for the apartment. We were reassured at this, although felt couldn’t sit out in our pj’s for breakfast for example. They were both busy people it seemed, with customers coming and going.
The building is full of character but you still had the advantages of being able to get a taxi pick you up outside. It is, walking distance from the train/bus station we did it quite easily. If you are driving yourself, there is a car park meters away.
We got a taxi to Faro airport at cost of 17 euros. Faro was a great place to visit with lots of tradition, but modern influences for those that want that too. Loads of taverns, eating/drinking places minutes away or the town with good shops and loads more restaurants. Would recommend staying here without hesitation. Have a look for the free faro walking tour- was great.

Delightful apartment in the heart of Faro old town.
Fernanda and her husband were very welcoming and this lovely apartment had everything we needed for a short break in Faro. It is peaceful, but only a short walk from a wide selection of shops and restaurants. The airport bus drops you off at the bus station which is just 10 mins walk away, and the bus fare was just a few euros. There is an extensive pedestrianised area in the centre of Faro with cafes and bars if you enjoy people watching! Highly recommended.

Quiet, convenient, charming - a chance to really become immersed in Algarve culture.
Very convenient, tastefully decorated, very comfy bed, quiet, well equipped for everything we needed, and we loved sitting out in the enclosed courtyard every morning and evening listening to the birds.
Property was very conveniently placed for train and bus stations and the ferry jetty, and a minute’s walk from some super restaurants within the Old Town. Fernanda, our hostess, was charming and very helpful at suggesting places to visit, as well as ordering an early-morning taxi for us on our departure.

Lovely home!
This was a lovely, clean, spacious stay in the heart of the historic walled old town of Faro. It had a beautiful garden off the kitchen where we enjoyed breakfast. It was quiet and closing the shutters ensured an excellent sleep. I would go back and stay here in a heartbeat but for a longer stay. Our hostess was so helpful and we had a much appreciated welcome gift.
