The room was amazing, nice and tidy with a view on the hotel's beautiful garden. The staff was very lovely and very helpful for everything we needed. Breakfast was very nice, and we also had a delicious dinner. The pool has a beautiful view on the jungle. Be careful with the food and your belongings in general as there are monkeys around, which make for a funny show (they appeared outside our bathroom and balcony.. I loved it!). It's just out of Ubud city centre, but it's very close to the Monkey Sacred Forest. Amazing choice for Ubud.

welcoming, quiet area and great location. great jungle view
The pool area is next to the jungle river, sometime doesn’t smell good from the river. Residence houses nearby can be noisy.

Old style Bali wooden rooms , very comfortable beds , good food ( we book room with all inclusive) but it’s only meals inclusive , no beverages
the views from Hibiscus room is the best among other rooms , I think it’s the only one facing the valley
At night they burned special coils for mosquitos repellent
Free shuttle to ubud center , and return u back after finish , just send WhatsApp message

a magical oasis hidden behind the monkey forest, but without TVs so you can truely relax and appreciate the serenity
nothing it was perfect - oh the monkeys nearby can be a bit pesky but it adds to the fun and creates a bit of authenticity

The cleaning and the services have been amazing. The staff is so kind and helpful, beautiful people. The pool is great and immersed in the greens. Our room was sold out so they transfered us for free in the sister company alam shanti with an upgraded room that was beautiful. The room was so big and the view on the garden amazing, the squirrels in the morning that jumps from on tree to another is super relaxing and the ladies that makes offers to the gods super peace of mind. The breakfast is great and the service super efficient.
Nothing, all the services were perfect

everything is gorgeous, the staff are lovely, the breakfasts out on the patio were the highlight of my time in Ubud, the AC worked well, there are restaurants in walking distance
The rooms are not sealed well and are next to the jungle. In my room I saw lizards, a frog the size of my fist, a cockroach on my bed, an enormous beetle, an animal dropping from a fairly sizable animal, and plenty of insects. The shower and toilet are outside, leading to many insect bites in places that would normally be covered, and a lizard jumped on my head while I was coming in from the shower. If you don’t mind finding these critters in your room, maybe it’s a perfectly lovely place to stay, but personally next time I would go up a price class for somewhere that is a little more sealed to the elements where you don’t need to rely on mosquito netting to avoid waking up with a lizard on your face.
I would also recommend taking a car into town - the path that leads from the hotel to Ubud center is very narrow with two way motorbike traffic and a lot of monkeys. I found it very stressful to walk without getting hit by a motorbike or getting too close to the monkeys.

The breakfast was amazing! And the staff were unbelievable! Really enjoyed my stay here, definitely was an one of a kind experience.
A lot of bugs came into the room so maybe if there were more incense burning or something else to get rid of bugs

What can I say other than Alam Indah provided the absolute best customer care and services I've ever experienced travelling. Balinese people are so lovely, but the people who work at Alam Indah are possibly the nicest community of people I've ever encountered. All of them. In addition to the staff, the breakfast, room, car shuttle service, and pool were all wonderful. It is right beside the Sacred Monkey Jungle, so proximity to jungle = bats, frogs, butterflies, lizards, etc. around the property. For us, it was really all part of the experience. It was so lovely being beside the jungle. The location of the hotel within the village was a wonderful place of calm in an otherwise busy Ubud.

It’s very beautiful and you can see the jungle from your room. The breakfast is so delicious, especially the banana pancakes.
A little far away from ubud palace, but near the monkey forest.

The beautiful pool by the Monkey forest, the beautiful room, the nice breakfast and the lovely staff ❤️

very spacious accommodation and they were kind enough to let my son stay free even though he was not on the reservation. they even gave him breakfast - and didn’t charge anything additionally. in all a good stay
the open air bathroom was a bit too open - the adjacent villa had its verandah directly over the bathroom. also - getting to the room from the car park was quite a challenge - lots of steps to climb - pity the boys who had to carry our heavy luggage

I loved everything about this piece of heaven. The setting is amazing and the decor and architecture are traditional Balinese - just what I was looking for!! The grounds are incredible, the bathroom is spacious and I loved having my own private terrace with a huge daybed.
That it was in Monkey Forest.....I don't like monkeys!

This was an amazingly beautiful place. The intricate woodwork and stone art was absolutely stunning. And the sculptured gardens I could take in for hours.
Staff was always friendly and ready to assist. Love our stay!!

Everything! Our favourite place to stay in Bali, and we have now stayed in 5 different places. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It's a quick walk to Ubud central but if you don't want to walk then their shuttle is very helpful. The whole place is beautiful and tranquil. We will definitely come back if we can.
Nothing.

I loved my stay at this hotel. Stunning design and peaceful serene location, beautifully presented breakfast, lovely swimming pools, but it’s the staff who work here that really make this a stand out hotel. They are lovely people; professional, helpful, graceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I will be back.
Nothing. It was a perfect stay.
