The property is in a perfect location with stunning estuary views and within a short walk of Padstow’s restaurants and activities. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Nothing bad to say about it. Highly recommend

Great garden for the dog!

Despite the obvious efforts of the owners to update the property, the fabric of the building needed renovation. We found the kitchen floor daunting to stand on near the dishwasher. Plaster dropped off the front porch through the week. The double bed had seen better days and the duvet should have been thrown away. Certain windows were difficult to close and the lawn needed mowing. Having stayed in Padstow in the past we expected a better standard but realise the price of the rental reflected the standard of accomodation . We still had a very enjoyable holiday

A great place as a base for taking in the delights of the Padstow and Polzeth areas. We will be back.

The location of Waterside was excellent. As described, it really was a short walk to Padstow harbour and within easy reach of the beautiful beach. The property itself was a little 'tired' in some aspects but by no means did it affect the enjoyment of our holiday. . It was well equipped. The kitchen was bright and airy and the adjoining dining area looked over the Camel Estuary, which was brilliant. The property had a great garden, which was very useful as we had our dog with us. Having a driveway for parking was also a big bonus.
A great stay! We would definitely go back.

Even though dated and in need of some TLC ( decking needs re doing), has several plus's. Views lovely, quite area with lots of parking, lots of space within accommodation, garden fantastic for dogs and main plus proximity to Padstow Harbour 5 minute walk.

Good communication with the owner, great location, but the property is in desperate need of some investment and TLC. I can’t even describe it as tired, it’s past that. In places tiles are coming off walls, floorboards appear to be rotten and sinking, and the veranda decking is rotten. Such a shame as this could be fantastic, but it isn’t.

Super clean bungalow with fabulous views. Easy, level walk into the harbour. Very well equipped kitchen & wonderfully relaxing with our family & enclosed garden great for the dog. We’d definitely recommend but did find the double bed in the en-suite bedroom uncomfortable.

Location is 2nd to none 10 minute flat walk into Padstow and a 2 minute walk to the Camel trail. The house itself is excellent a little bit dated but that didn’t bother us with the dogs it was more relaxing to be honest .
I have marked 4 stars on cleanliness this is due to the condition of the outside patios they do need a jet wash and the back door wouldn’t open for us so we had to walk around to use the breakfast patio area.
The garden was amazing for the dogs a wrap around garden ample parking . We did have an issue with hot water whilst there phoned the caretaker he told us what to do and it was all sorted .
None of the above spoilt our holiday and we had a lovely relaxing time whilst managing to walk 60 miles along the SWCP.
I would recommend the property for a family group the location just can’t be beaten .

Would have given 5 stars if beds were bigger and more comfortable, needs some updating inside but otherwise great place.

A very homely house, super comms with the owner, and the perfect base to explore Padstow, Rock and North Cornwall in general. 3 generations and our dog all loved our Christmas Holiday.
Thank you

A few steps up to the house, so not ideal for wheelchairs, but easy walk into town. Good communication from owner pre-booking, and easy to get keys. Clean and well equipped. This was ideal for us, a family of 5. Would recommend this property.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The view of the estuary is stunning. As expected, the property is a little old fashioned inside, but it was clean and we had everything we needed, including WiFi for the kids and a lovely big tv. The short walk into Padstow town made it ideal for the grandparents too. I would highly recommend this property.

A wonderful relaxing stay in a warm home with everything needed for a self catering holiday. The reason that 5 stars not given is due to attention to detail in regards to general housekeeping & overall maintenance of the property.

Stayed in this lovely house June 16 and are delighted to be going back in September. Petfectly positioned to stroll into Padstow harbour and the views over the estuary are stunning. The house is very well equipped - modern - bright and welcoming. Having parking is a huge bonus but once you are there everything is within walking distance. Padstow offers everything for a great holiday - lovely restaurants - wonderful walks( the Camel Trail starts 5 minutes from the house ) and a good selection of small shops. Looking forward to returning to Waterside
