Extremely well equipped property with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It is very peaceful and surrounded by wildlife; birds and frogs singing, butterflies and insects.
The property was cool even though the weather was very hot, so don't let lack of Air Con put you off. Short walk to the river and the town. The town is stunning with beautiful buildings and friendly locals. It has a very laid back peaceful atmosphere- exactly what you need on holiday!

Home from home
The apartment is incredibly well equipped with everything we needed for a week’s stay, from beach towels to sun hats! Even though the weather was really hot, the house stayed cool and comfortable. Perfect location for walking to the river and the town.

Perfect Location
We spent a lovely week at Carolyn’s property. She is very generous and provides an amazing welcome pack. The property is equipped with everything you could need and the furnishings and utensils are in new condition. There are lots of interesting places to see within a 30 minute drive of the property and many local shops and restaurants less than a 5 minute walk away. A great place to stay!

Merci Carolyn.

No room for improvement.
Small but perfectly formed, generously equipped and delightfully located, the property was a delight. Add a warm, considerate and generous host and our holiday was first class.

Everything you could need for a great stay and in an excellent location.
We have just had a week here and loved it. The apartment is immaculate and very well equipped, we couldn't think of anything
that needed adding. What did surprise us is how well stocked the apartment is. Carolyn is very generous with the 'starter pack'. Most places leave a welcoming bottle of wine, but here there was a white a rose and a red! Lots of other things included like butter, cheese, jam, tea, coffee, milk, bread, I could go on. The property is in a very private and peaceful location, but it really is just three minutes walk from the centre of Saint Antonin. It has a lovely, partly covered terraced area overlooking the river with a good choice of seating and seating areas.
The surrounding area offers plenty of trips to discover the nearby villages and Chateaux and the market in Saint Antonin on Sunday mornings is unmissable. If you are looking for a relaxing, away from it all holiday, with the convenience of the village shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, this is an ideal location. If you want a little more activity, the river provides a nearby beach for swimming and lots of canoeing options.
In summary, a great apartment that should appeal to a wide range of Francophiles.

Kortom: goed toeven in Riverside!

Lovely apartment with stunning views
A lovely apartment with stunning views.Although it is only minutes to walk into town it is in a really peaceful setting. The apartment is really well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay.Carolyn the owner couldn't be more helpful and is on hand if needed. The covered terrace was both handy to sit under when it rained and equally to provide shade on hot days. A generous welcome basket was much appreciated and enjoyed! We wish Carolyn every success with her new life in France after all the hard work that has gone into making this a lovely property.

What a view!
Stayed late in August in this lovely apartment for a week. The apartment had everything we needed to make this a home from home. Outside it was roasting but inside the apartment was lovely and cool. We ate outside on the covered terrace. When we needed a dip to cool off we had a choice of swimming or paddling in the river or a dip in the local outdoor pool that was a delight to Swim in whilst looking a the most astonishing view. A view you never get bored of, which is a good job because this is the uninterrupted view that the apartment has. The apartment is well equipped. Beds are really comfortable. Great to have a washing machine and dishwasher. Freezer for your ice and ice cream . You are minutes from the centre of the village, river beach and pool. Prefect location. St Antonin is a really beautiful village with plenty of places to eat and drink. However the Sunday market is my favourite experience. Amazing produce, we carried back to the apartment and enjoyed on the barbecue for serveral days! The cheese is delicious. Good local wines to wash it down with! We visited Albi, Cahors both of which were worth while and easy to get to. We hired a car from Toulouse. Plugged in the sat nav and had no problems finding out way ! Think if you want to get out and about a car is essential but if you just want to canoe or fish or just relax in St Antonin you can. We did the four hour canoe trip from the end of the road. The views were lovely and you don't need to be a canoe expert to do it. However, you do need a reasonable level of fitness. If you have a partner who loves to fish as mine does then you can get a licence and fish from the garden! We will be going back to this lovely apartment, to relax ,fish (l'll relax my partner will fish) and enjoy the view.

Wonderfully relaxing riverside setting
This was the perfect place for us to stay and totally chill. The apartment comes with it's own shaded terrace so we could choose the sun or shade and sit and relax with views of the river. The garden area has lovely colourful displays of flowers and It was so peaceful and yet in just a few minutes walk we were in the town so able to easily stroll to the lovely restaurants, shops (including supermarket) and the buzzing Sunday market. The medieval town has lots of nooks and crannies to explore with amazing architecture. There were so many picturesque views around each corner, plus the elegant bridge mirrored on the river Aveyron and spectacular views from the Roc d'Anglar (thank heavens for digital cameras!!). The apartment had everything we could possibly need - such great thought had been put in by Carolyn and a wonderfully warm welcome. We really felt like we had moved into our own new home for the week - such a pleasant spacious apartment to stay in, we were sorry to leave. We will definitely be back and there is still more for us to explore in the area - the walk to the caves, kayaking on the river, and lots of lovely drives out if you choose to. That is, if we manage to drag ourselves away from this lovely apartment / garden next time....!
