About this cottage rental
A wonderful holiday home set in stunning, tranquil gardens in the village of Carlton-in-Lindrick, with three bedrooms accommodating six people.
Pringles Orchard is a wonderful holiday home in the village of Carlton-in-Lindrick, three miles from Worksop and very close to the Peak District National Park. The cottage has three bedrooms, one double, one single and one family room with a double and single bed. There is also a second floor attic room with an additional futon bed, a family bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room with a woodburner and a conservatory. Outside is a patio and a stunning garden, with water lilies bobbing on the pond surface, a stream and an orchard. There is also off road parking for four cars and the delights of Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park are only a short distance away. Pringles Orchard is perfect for family holidays and breaks with friends.
Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 4 cars. Garden with pond, stream and patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 5 mins walk. Note: Unfenced pond and stream in garden, care should be taken and children should be supervised at all times. Note: Futon for flexibility only.

Town: Carlton-in-Lindrick is a village in Nottinghamshire, approximately three miles north of Worksop. The village has a selection of shops and pubs, including the Blue Bell and the Grey Horses Inn, so you have all the essentials on hand for your time away. Featured in the Domesday Book, the village has links to Saxon times and the local church bears testament to this. The 'Devil Stone' stands outside the church and is the subject of many local legends. Carlton-in-Lindrick had a bike making and repairing business, built up by Mr Fred Hanstock, which eventually became Carlton Cycles until it was taken over by Raleigh. The village is a wonderful base for exploring the surrounding countryside, situated a short drive from the Peak District National Park and less than half an hour from Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park.

The house is cosy and well equipped. Beautiful well kept large and interesting garden. Good TV with internet channels. Logburner ready to light. Lots of space. Oh, and they put on some lovely sunny weather too!
They even let me charge my electric car.
