Bathroom needs updating especially the shower. Bed small.

The hotel is in good location with lots of nearby attractions, local shops, takeaway.
It would be better if the room has air conditioner due to the weather changes.

Met by lovely staff, and the room was clean and tidy. The hotell is presented lovely and the bar had a lovely atmosphere. Also the Sunday afternoon barman was (unfortunately didn't get his name) was a delight and also very helpful and cheerful.
No fridge in the room.
Silicon selent in bathroom had a little mold

Spa facilities were really welcome after climbing Snowdon. Rooms were fresh and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Wasn't aware that timings for breakfast had to be booked in advance and by the time we did realise, our preferred slot was already full - no big deal and I'm sure it was mentioned somewhere in the booking details. We wasn't told this on check-in though which would have been nice. No big deal though just some feedback for the future !

Looks nice downstairs inside. Nice function room, nice bar, pool
Room decor and colour was quite dated and tired particularly bathroom. Very early in morning we could hear the stairs creaking with people going up and down and above us to the point it woke family up.

The quality of the food was excellent
They have to many tables in so this does not leave enough room round each table.

Breakfast was a little hectic with young children trying to help themselves I thought the idea of times was to even out the footfall
I would like to see the dinner menu offer 2 or 3 specials when your there for 3/4 nights the menu looks difficult to find things you like

Location was great - easy walk into town/castle and great for exploring Anglesey too. Staff were lovely. Public areas were really nice and food was good.
It is in need of some tlc in some areas but I understand how expensive it is to upkeep. Towel warmer in our room needs replacing - or at the least cleaning properly- as the only form of heating for the large bathroom I had to trace the wires back into the bedroom to find the control panel to turn it on. Very cheap loo roll! The cups in our room were dirty on arrival and the coffee hadn’t been replaced….but the bed was clean and comfy. There was a glass and pastry left on a windowsill on the landing of the main staircase for 2 days until I mentioned it to the receptionist who immediately removed it…I get the impression that the cleaning staff are probably overstretched and have lost some pride in the place they work in. BUT…I would return there, nothing really bad, the important bits were done.

The pool leisure facilities were really nice, the staff were friendly and very accommodating and the evening food menu was very nice both in the bar and the restaurant. The bar staff were all really nice and drinks were reasonably priced. The bed was actually really comfortable.
The breakfast was lacking in comparison to the evening menu, the rooms really need refurbishing and appliances should be checked before someone stays, no views to speak of.

Excellent location and very easy to walk to town and other attractions. Rooms were large with comfortable beds. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice
Nothing.

The location is excellent with as it is a very short stroll to the beautiful city centre and the castle. The accommodation and food also is very good.
Nothing at all.

Location; good surroundings and good food
Gym was closed and this was not notified on website. They have only one deluxe room and there is nowhere to sit in room. Light switch for bathroom on the other side of the room.

Excellent location near the centre of Caernarfon. Very comfortable and clean room, very nice restaurant, bar and lounge areas in the hotel. Excellent quality dinner in the bar in the evening. Friendly and helpful staff. Good parking.
Breakfast was nice but not outstanding.

Breakfast was lovely- location was great for us as we wanted somewhere close to Snowdonia for a hike up Snowdon, also close to the Bypass so we could visit other local places- Caernarfon itself was a pretty village, unfortunately quite a lot of the shops were closed, and a lot of pubs and restaurants in the village opened on limited days- which was a little surprising for the height of the summer holidays! The hotel staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating ! Bar and restaurant food was also nice😁

Dog friendly
Extra £25 for your dog,
Plus they don’t let dogs in the bar or restaurant so set you a table in the lounges for dinner and breakfast which was fine.
The other thing if your dog barks to much they charge £50 extra! Are didn’t so fine just after saying dog friendly it’s a bit much.

The room was basic and a bit dated but was clean and comfortable and served our needs perfectly. The food was great, we had breakfast every day and were very pleased with the service and selection. We also ate in the bar and restaurant and the food was lovely. The leisure facilities were a real bonus. We really enjoyed the pool and steam room. The staff were very helpful and always polite.
Couldn't fault anything. Value for money, would definitely use again.

Too expensive because it isn't including the breakfast. It was included breakfast when we stayed last time. The swimming pool time for kids should be more longer will be better.

The staff were very accommodating, i added an extra friend to our triple room and they provided extra bedding for them. We spoke to an Asian lady (I mean no offence by this, I didn't take a name) at reception who gave us some local knowledge and recommendations for our next hike.

I spent two days on a writer's retreat, so spent a lot of time inside the hotel. My room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. All of the rooms (bar, lounge etc) were clean and well appointed. Any request I had was accomodated with a smile. The hotel has it's history documented in frames on one of the walls, which is really interesting. Outside the hotel; there are shops very close by, and the town is a 5 minute walk away - including the magnificent castle!
I have no complaints!

Location was spot on to the town and near railway station and the castle and also was easy to find as driving around North Wales.
Nothing.

pool and gym facilities included - as was car parking
No air con in room

The staff, accommodation and facilities were outstanding. Everywhere was immaculate, and the pool and spa was a lovely space to unwind after a busy day.
I was somewhat disappointed with the select for breakfast. The quality was good, but the choice of selection was rather poor when you look at the quality of service the rest of the hotel provides.
4.0
The room was spacious and clean. The staff were mostly polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable.
My bedroom door would not lock and whilst someone came to look at it, it was not repaired, rather reported - this made me feel somewhat vulnerable. The secondary glazing on one of the windows was dangerous - it did not stay up instead slammed down - I reported this and a block of wood was brought to my room to hold it open! It was not possible to turn the bedroom light on/off from the bedroom - you needed to go to the 'hallway' to do this. The internet connection did not work - I tried it in various locations in the hotel. The breakfast options were limited and the cooked breakfast buffet was cold/lukewarm, even at 7am - I selected beans, mushrooms, eggs, bacon - all very unpleasant.
The hotel is trying to be something it is not which is a shame as it has great potential and an interesting history.

Good location near castle. Having looked round the town it was probably the only decent place to stay.
The bathroom was not good. Fixed shower screen which made getting in and out difficult as nongrab rails. No shower mat so floor became slippery and dangerous.
4.0
Arrival was very late but no problem with entry and check in. Facilities were great. Staff were more than helpful and no issues.
Breakfast could have been improved, Sausages were not particularly good (our opinion) Too much apple in the fruit salad. Bacon was tough on one of the 3 days.
