The lower level of Casa Brisa Colina is a charming 2 bedroom, 3 full bath villa overlooking 3 beautiful bays - Great Cruz Bay, Chocolate Hole, and Hart Bay. The house is nestled on the top of the hill, so the views from all the bedrooms and deck are breathtaking and go on forever. An extra twin bed is provided for a fifth guest which is great for larger families. It has all the amenities needed for a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The bedrooms are on either side of the level, with the common space living room and kitchen between, which provides great separation. Outside there is a coral stone deck, which keeps cool even in the hottest of sunshine, a private swimming pool, grill, hammock, and dining area with wonderful warm breezes keeping you cool. Beach towels, coolers, and beach chairs are provided for a great day at the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with a blender, coffee maker, and other essentials and the two spacious bedrooms both have brand new queen mattresses and air-conditioning, although the constant breeze makes it unnecessary usually. It is about a 4 minute drive to the shops, restaurants, and bars in Cruz Bay and 10 minute drive to the North Shore beaches and hiking trails. Come visit, and all your dreams will come true. Park your vehicle in the designated spot on the private driveway and begin to relax in paradise!

Due to airline outage, arrived a day later. Mom arrived on time. Celia the manager was gracious enough to picker up from the ferry and take here to supermarket. This was a great help and a welcome relief. Unit has a private pool, plenty of space out side to lounge. Unit was clean and had all basics. Laundry room on site, Rooms are air conditioned. beautiful view of chocolate hole. Would definitely recommend staying there, I will definitely stay again.

Casa Brisa Colina is on a hillside near Cruz Bay with views of Great Cruz Bay and Chocolate Hole. It’s not easy to locate, and Celia, the property manager, met us in town on our first day so we could follow her back to the villa. It took a couple of trips before we could drive “home” without getting turned around but it’s fun to get lost in paradise! Celia was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay. We stayed on the lower level of the villa with exclusive access to the pool. There’s nothing like relaxing in a pool after a day at the beach! We availed ourselves of the gas grill and cooked at home three nights. The bedrooms are on either side of the house. The mattresses were comfortable, the pillows tolerable (this is saying a lot as pillows are usually a complaint when traveling), and the split unit AC is each bedroom keeps you cool at night. The furnishings are simple but comfortable. The villa’s grounds are green and lush. Expect visits from thrushies, bananaquits, kestrels, geckos, and iguanas…maybe even a donkey or two! The driveway is steep but paved with off street parking and the neighborhood is quiet. Last but not least: the villa has solar panels and a generator! If you have EVER traveled to the USVI, you know that power outages are a fact of life. We never once lost power during our stay even though there were at least two island wide power outages while we were on St. John. This alone should bump Casa Brisa Colina to the top of any list!

We had a great time in St John! This house was centrally located and close to beaches, restaurants, and shops. We enjoyed lounging in the pool and cooking out in the patio after a long day at the beach. Celia was great and lots of help if we had questions!

Amazing view and so nice to have our own pool. We liked the arrangement of having bedrooms on either side of the common space. As Midwesterners used to chilly nights, we appreciated having the air conditioning available in the bedrooms at night to help us sleep. The breeze was all that was needed during the day. It was nice to have beach chairs, towels, and coolers for our beach trips. Part of the patio is shaded so that you can enjoy it while getting out of the sun. It was great having Celia meet us in town to lead us to the villa and provide us with written directions. The beds were a little softer than we prefer. Wifi dropped at times, which is common in remote areas. Those aren't deal breakers. It should be noted that in spite of what VRBO (not the owner) indicates, you cannot walk to town.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was large and comfortable and the outside patio/pool area was great! And the view was fantastic. JUST A NOTE: Although VRBO (not the host) advertises you can walk to Cruz Bay from this property, you cannot. We rented a jeep to get around during the day but did not want to drive the winding roads after dark so had planned to walk to town for dinner and drinks but had to take a pricey cab instead.

Can't say enough about the hospitality of the owner, Brian and the on site manager, Celia. Both were responsive and gave great suggestions. The unit was very spacious, neat, and clean. We had wonderful weather and the pool was handy for cooling off. Faces south so gets plenty of sun. Remember to bring reef safe sun screen to the islands and don't forget the bug spray.... No see ums are no joke.

The villa was nice with beautiful views and a great pool to relax in. Four of us stayed in the villa, so the fact that the 2 bedrooms were on each side of the villa with their own bathrooms worked out great. The common area, which consisted of a tv room, bathroom and kitchen were ok. Unfortunately, it was not air conditioned so we didn’t spend much time in there. Although there was an exterminator spraying for insects around the perimeter which tells me they try to keep the insects at bay, we did see a few roaches in the kitchen which I’m sure is common in the islands. We just made sure to keep any food that we opened in ziplocs and in the refrigerator. The bedrooms had there own ac units which was important because it was pretty humid at night. The beds are a little soft and squeaky but they were alright. My one issue with this villa is that, although there wasn’t anybody renting the upstairs villa the week that I was there (although a “caretaker” was upstairs, the week I was there). If it had been rented out, we wouldn’t have used the pool as much as we had, being that we would’ve had to share it with the upstairs guests. Overall, we enjoyed the villa and would consider renting it again the next time that we visit St. John.

Great property with excellent property manager. Great communication, as we were met at the ferry and shown right to the property. Everything was exactly as described. The views from the pool deck were amazing and the home provided a great place for our family to relax together after exploring the island. Proximity to town and north side beaches was a plus. Would return to this property without hesitation.

Well, after 9 days all I can say is the property is excellent, great views, quiet as can be (except for a few early AM roosters way down in the valley...very cool) & constant Trade Winds = no A/C needed. One minor Dish TV IT issue cured by Celia promptly on Day 2. We adapted in true Island fashion by listening to an FM oldie station on the alarm clock radio in the interim - 102.1 - stayed with it the whole the week...really good play list. Given we have 25+ years STJ visits...Brian's place will not disappoint!!

The views were amazing. The house was tastefully decorated, well equipped and updated. Everything worked as expected (e.g. TV, Internet, hammock, beach chair). The little umbrella protected the beach towels from intermittent rains on the beach. Celia and Jada were considerate and helpful.

Celia and Jada were very helpful the whole trip and were very easy to get in touch with. The pool was great for the kids along with lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxing. We had everything we needed during our stay. The view was amazing. We loved being able to watch boats traveling around every day.

We had a great time staying here. It was very helpful to have the coolers, beach chairs, etc available on property to take with us to the beach. The unit is in a quiet area on the side of a hill over looking multiple coves and very centrally located. It only takes a few minutes to get to Cruz Bay or the north shore beaches. It is also located right off Centerline Road making travel to the east side of the island convenient and easy. Brian made very helpful recommendations regarding Jeep rentals and snorkeling gear rentals. Would definitely recommend, especially if you are looking for a nice quiet family oriented getaway!

Celia was a most excellent host. She met us at our keep rental and had us follow her to the property to ensure we didn’t get lost. Above and beyond! The house was awesome! Our family, especially our toddler loved the pool and the views were top notch. The location on St. John was great. We would def rent again if we go back to St. John.

We certainly enjoyed ourselves. The view was amazing and we felt welcomed by Celia, who was very helpful. The large bedrooms and baths were clean and comfortable. After our daily happy hour plunge, we cooked on the grill and ate outside. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes etc. Cant wait to come back with family. Thank you!

We've been coming to St. John for over 40 years and found Casa Brisa Colina a great value, offering us the views we love, the private pool experience we enjoy and having all the necessary amenities immediately available without having to shop around. Place was great ,it was exactly as portrayed on the website. Before booking I had a lot of questions for the owner about the property amenities local weather places to eat etc. etc. He was totally cordial with all my questions and got back to me within minutes of me emailing the questions out to him. So after checking the weather to be sure hurricane Sam was moving up and away we booked the trip. Soon after booking we got a call from Celia the house manager and made arrangements to meet us at the car barge and escort us up to the house .She took care of all our needs for us. Gave us great great recommendations on beaches restaurants etc. etc. Brian and Celia couldn’t have been nicer.The house is on a hill overlooking the bay. Gorgeous views. About five minutes down the hill you’re at the grocery store two minutes from there you are in downtown Cruze Bay And another 5 to 10 minutes from there you were at multiple beautiful beaches! What more could you ask.
