We had a great stay, everything we needed plus clean and tidy. Walking into Canterbury was easy with shops and pubs nearby. Would highly recommend this property to a family or small group of friends.
Photographs made it look recently renovated however lack of regular routine maintenance made it a little jaded.
Thank you for everything.

This was a real peculiarity, a well-equipped conversion of a fire station. Kitchen excellently equipped, lounge had some cupboards needing some TLC, but TV was fine, sofas comfy etc. Garden bedroom was fine, the upstairs one needs some steps added; the bath you need an inside leg measurement of 30” to get in or out and the beautiful glass sink takes a long time to empty, very stylish, not quite so practical. The wardrobe provides room and lots of hanging space but over 2m high (hence the stool comment). It is a short stroll to town, and we hardly used the car - easy parking for one, but tight for two cars - but we did it! The owner was a most pleasant gentleman, around but not at all intrusive.

We decided to holiday locally after Covid-19 delayed our holiday by a year.
Having not stayed in Kent before we picked Cedar House in Canterbury and I am so glad we did.
Lovely modern home with enough space for 6 of us. Our girls were happy to share the upstairs room and loved the balcony and their own bathroom.
We opted for the ground floor garden room which was lovely too.
Well kitted our house with all we needed for our week.
The house felt totally secluded and the little courtyard seemed completely private too.
Would def recommend this property. The owners were helpful and piped over one evening to make sure all was ok.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Cedar House. It offers a unique floor plan, comfortable beds and rooms, and close proximity to the center of town. Although located on a busy street, it is somewhat sheltered from the noise. The shower is small but functional.

It was a perfect holiday visit. The property is only a few minutes away from the city of canterbury. You can use the main road with some traffic or the side road and then you can use a little bridge over the trainway to get into the canterbury park. The house was fine, we will book it again if we make another trip to canterbury.

Fantastic location close to town and restaurants as well as surrounding area. Apartment was ideal for two couples plus 1-2 children.

Cedar House is an absolute gem. Beautifully furnished and with everything you need. 5 minutes walk into Canterbury so no need to take the car when going out to eat or indulge in a little retail therapy. As soon as you close the gates to the property it’s like you are in your own little calm haven. A couple of things to be aware of (don’t let this put you off). If you are driving, you’ll need to reverse out of the gates onto London Rd. which is quite busy. We found this to be a 2 person job, one driving and the other stopping the traffic. I got quite adept at this by the end of the week. The 2nd thing is that the water is beautifully soft. If you want to avoid looking like Worzel Gummidge (as I did) take plenty of hair products and straighteners! Would definitely stay again if we were visiting the area in the future. Thanks.

We were staying here to be near family for a celebration. The property is very well located within easy walking distance of central Canterbury. We were met by Adelle who was extremely welcoming and told us all we needed to know about the house. There were three of us staying and the accommodation was more than roomy for our needs - there being two good double bedrooms. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped though there are restaurants and pubs nearby. The lounge is comfortable and large and the bedrooms roomy and also comfy. The wifi works well and is a real bonus. The property was extremely clean and warm. We were staying in late Autumn so did not use the outside space but the outdoor table and chairs would be great in the summer. I would certainly recommend this property.
