We spent a wonderful holiday week in this lovely cottage. On arrival everything was very well prepared and all very clean. The view from the kitchen into the garden is amazing.
This cottage gives you all you need to relax. Very silent.
It‘s very good host for discovering Exmoor NP and the Quantock Hills.
Thank you so much Fiona and Eric for this pleasant stay.

We were looking for somewhere really quiet to spend time after Christmas and this really fitted the bill. Weather was terrible so we didn't make the most of the close proximity of Exmoor and the Quantocks, but the cottage is cosy and very well equipped, so we had a great rest in a lovely setting. We are a 3 generation family and this worked well for everyone. Plenty of communal space to spread out into, good central heating and a beautifully kept garden. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom perfect for our 89 year old Father. Eric and Fiona the hosts are incredibly accommodating and thoughtful and we definitely recommend this place. It's a bit of a way along single-track lanes from the closest shops, but we came prepared for that. Lovely to visit Watchet and Dunster Castle. We would like to come back and explore the countryside in better weather!

My Wife, children and I loved the stay at Jacobs Pond.
The location is wonderful and we loved waking up in the morning and looking out on the fantastic views across the fields.
The house itself is very well equipped and spotless, loved the fresh eggs and other treats left behind for us, very thoughtful thank you, Eric.
We will look to stay again in the future.

As soon as we arrived we knew we had made the right choice for our week's holiday. The house was exactly as described and we couldn't fault it in any way. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for cooking a meal. We spent most evenings in the conservatory looking out on the beautiful garden. We were left some goodies and wine which was very much appreciated. A perfect spot for exploring the coast and Exmoor.

Clean well equipped property with beautiful enclosed garden which our dog loved. Sadly the weather didn't allow us to use it much. Eric was very welcoming and the provision on arrival of eggs (from his own hens), milk, wine and cake was a pleasant surprise.

Everything was really amazing. The landscape, house, garden. If there the owner will built a terrace in the garden, is the dream house for any person. If somebody would like to escape in a quite place this is just perfect. Fresh air, forests, seaside, history, everything in one place. I highly recommend it.

Excellent, spacious and well equipped cottage. Loved the garden room, which was lovely to sit out in when the weather wasn't good enough to sit out in the very attractive garden.

Fabulous cottage in very peaceful location. Very clean and well equipped. Beautiful gardens, very well maintained, a pleasure to spend time in.
Plenty of space for our family of 5, we would highly recommend Jacob's Pond.

It was so relaxing to stay here. If you sit in the charming garden, you can't hear any traffic noise at all.
The cottage is very comfortably furnished and equipped. We were there with our dog so it was perfect having the secure garden. Eric the owner gave us all a warm welcome, and as well as a delicious bottle of wine and fresh flowers, had provided useful things like laundry detergent.
The butcher's in Williton is very friendly and gave us a dog bone!

Lovely cottage, well furnished and equipped - perfect for what we wanted. Enclosed garden, plenty of space and very dog friendly. Eric was very welcoming and cake, wine and milk waiting for us on arrival was a nice touch - we will definitely be returning.

Lovely countryside location, with a great garden to unwind in. Very pleasant hosts, and well appointed holiday cottage.
5.0
Lovely, roomy cottage - very well equipped and lovely welcome pack from the owners next door - they even gave us some freshly laid eggs from their chickens! They were really helpful but did not interfere with the enjoyment of our stay. The garden and patio is lovely so enjoyed the outside space. Plenty of good walks and sites nearby and hostelries to enjoy. Parking is a little tight for 2 larger cars and the lane is quite narrow, apart from that a great week away - we would definitely return. Thanks also to the local independent booking agents who made it all seamlessly possible.

The beautiful enclosed garden was a massive bonus for us with 2 small children. The cottage was perfect for our needs , in a very quiet location, yet only a few minutes from nearest town. Thoroughly recommend for a get away from it all break.

The cottage is perfect for a quiet getaway set in idyllic countryside. The cottage boasts more than enough living space for 6 adults to enjoy time together and apart. Beautiful garden and just a lovely space to spend time in. Hosts were friendly but not intrusive - the perfect combination. Would visit again.

The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The garden is beautiful and offers a great space for the kids to burn off a little energy and we particularly enjoyed visits from the dog next door who is very friendly and good with children. Nothing was too much trouble for Eric (the owner who lives next door) and he even dropped off some free range eggs from his own hens. 3 generations of family stayed together and there was enough living space for us all not to feel cramped.
The cottage is very rural and we really enjoyed getting sway from it all for a week. It is a lovely relaxing place to stay.

The location of Jacobs Pond is perfect for a quiet break. The garden is kept beautifully and if you are lucky with the weather is a perfect place to relax. The house is very well equipped and has a number of sitting areas. The kitchen also has everything you could need. Special mention for the beds are everyone agreed that they were extremely comfortable. The owner lives next door but is not intrusive and is a very nice chap. The surrounding area is stunning with many fine pubs not too far away. Overall, an excellent spot for a holiday - heartily recommended.

This place is fantastic, peaceful and tranquil. The garden is a beautiful environment to sit back and relax in.
The welcome from the owners is superb, leaving a bottle of wine, treats and freshly laid eggs on our arrival.
The accommodation is clean and met all our needs. I would recommend this Home to everyone.
Perfectly placed for Exmoor, Lynton and Lynmouth and surrounding areas. If guests have children, and the weather is good I recommend a trip to Tarr Steps where the children can paddle and the grown ups just relax.
Excellent holiday.

We had a throughly enjoyable week with our daughter, her husband and young family, at Jacobs Pond. We found the cottage very clean and everything we needed. The owners, next door, are friendly and helpful and even left welcoming gifts for us. The down side was that we only had a week.
