Bedrooms:
- Butterfly Suite (up to 5 people - king size bed, double sofa, foldout single bed)

- Captain's Room (up to 3 people - queen bed and single sofa bed)
- Honey Room (up to 3 people- queen size bed and single sofa bed)
- Tintin's Study (up to 2 people - double sofa bed) - if you don't need this as a bedroom, it can be kept as a sofa and add to the living space as it has a sliding door which opens onto the living room.

High up on the hill in Seaside, CA, our house is located in a peaceful neighborhood, with an amazing view. We are VERY close to Laguna Seca and the Monterey County Fairgrounds and just outside the main touristic area, a short distance from the attractions of Monterey, Carmel, & Pacific Grove. We are one of the last small cities on the way South to Big Sur. It is worth noting that the weather here is moderate all year long. It is not the "Sunny California" that you hear about; there is normally a bit of a chill. Our beaches are not the best for sunbathing and only the intrepid enter the water. Just around the corner from our home is a playground for kids. Seaside itself is not much of an attraction, but it has a number of nice restaurants and tends to be more reasonably priced than neighboring cities.
We are next to a bus stop with frequent service to the Fairgrounds, Downtown Monterey, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Aquarium (Jazz B - every 30 min), and just a short walk away from bus service to Carmel-by-the-Sea (bus 94 - every 2 hours) and shops (Jazz A - every 30 min). Unfortunately public transportation in general is not great in this area. It's possible to walk down the hill to some shops and restaurants, but much easier if you have a car. With a car, there is easy access to Carmel, Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Salinas.
• We are just down the street from the fire station—which means that we're all set if we have an emergency—but we also have the pleasure of knowing every time anyone else does.
• We are on a quiet main street next to a school. The street doesn't have much traffic, but the sound carries when someone drives by fast or playing thumping music. We do not get much noise from the school at all. During school drop-off and pick-up times, it can be hard to find parking - otherwise there is plenty of room on the street in front of the house.
• You might run into our family outside or hear our children playing in the backyard. We respect out guests' right to privacy, but we may be using some of the outdoor areas during your stay.
• The front door is up a set of stairs, but the side door has a ramp and is handicap-accessible!

Our experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, and we're already planning our next visit!
Noelle's place is perfectly located, just steps away from all the amenities Seaside and Monterey has to offer. Whether it was exploring the beach, browsing local shops, or savoring delicious seafood, everything was very close-by.
What truly stood out was the generous space Noelle's place provided. Traveling with a large family can be challenging, but not here. Noelle's home comfortably accommodated all of us, allowing us to create beautiful memories together. It felt like a home away from home, and we felt relaxed instantly.
The themed rooms were a delightful surprise! Each room had its unique charm, and the attention to detail was impeccable. The themed decor added an extra layer of fun to our vacation.
Noelle was a fantastic host, always responsive and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. Her hospitality made us feel truly welcome, and her local recommendations enhanced our experience.
In summary, Noelle's home exceeded our expectations. Convenient location, spacious accommodations, and charming themed rooms made for an unforgettable vacation. We wholeheartedly recommend Noelle's place to anyone seeking a family-friendly retreat in Seaside. Thank you, Noelle, for making our trip special—we can't wait to return and create more beautiful memories in your wonderful home!

This California home is cute and eclectic and very functional. We had my whole family with 2 grandchildren all staying under one roof… so there was much fun and laughter. The host was very accommodating and set up the sleeping areas for our specific needs. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

I held a family gathering of 10 with my parents and brother’s family. The place sits in a peaceful neighborhood with a great view of the bay. Plenty of space to stretch out and rooms for everyone for their privacy. The house is also well stocked and feels at home. The hosts answered our inquiry in a timely manner which we appreciate. Overall, 2 thumbs up and will definitely come again should opportunity rises.

House had plenty of space for our 2 families. Nothing fancy here, but a convenient location, plenty of street parking, a fully functional kitchen and comfortable beds. We all enjoyed our visit and had no complaints.

On our second night there, we saw one rodent in the living room and another in the kitchen. We didn’t feel comfortable staying there any more and risking our infant and toddler coming in contact with rodents. We moved to a hotel last minute and the host refunded us for the third night… hoping the host takes this issue seriously and focuses on pest control going forward to offer a safe stay in the future.

The house had an unusual room layout out and large gathering spaces. We had 14 people stay at the house and we were very comfortable. The whimsical artwork and themed rooms reflect an artist's personality. Nice stay, I give it 2 thumbs up.

Overally, a great place if you have a larger group and need lots of sleeping space. The house is dated, but has a "grandma's place" kind of charm. Could use a little fixing up.... but it was very well equipped!

Biggest problem was 1 bedroom freezing 1 bedroom sweltering and we could do nothing about it. A little too expensive for what we got. But we had a very good time.

It was very nice to have the number of beds that are in the house. Travelled with a group of 8 friends and everyone was able to have their own bed

It was a pleasant stay.
1. The house is little over packed with stuff which is ok but little more empty space would have helped keeping the belongings of the folks staying there.
2. The house and furniture seemed to be little old (still quite well maintained) so had to maintain little cautious to use them .
Overall experience is good.

Lots of room for privacy and togetherness. 3 families, 4 granddaughters ages 3, 6, 9, 12. Loved playing the "story games". Great time together for breakfast and snacks and pizza delivery. Ate out one evening. Great to hear all the children and adults react together - so much fun.

The house met the descriptions. Very convenient for a large group. Communication with manager was very easy.

This was a great house to stay with multiple families, very kid friendly. Yard had a lovely playhouse. I personally was not a fan of the small throw rugs (trip hazard for young and old) but overall there was plenty of space for all 12 of us. The porch was great to watch the sunset and the owners were very responsive to all of our questions. We will be back!

We had 5 couples/families that were accommodated comfortably. One couple had 4 children, and they all were comfortable in the largest bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom. Another family had 2 children, and they were also were comfortable in another large bedroom with their own en-suite. The living room and family room enabled us all to spend quality time together. The kitchen was a bit of a challenge as it was a narrow “galley” shape, which made it difficult for more than one person to move around at a time. There was not a single empty cupboard, which meant all of our food had to sit on the counters, taking up valuable work space. Although we had pre-prepared all of our dinners at home before we arrived, it was still difficult to function in the kitchen at meal times. The hosts were extremely helpful in all ways, but the house had its limitations with the kitchen.
