Wonderful stay in beautiful Old Town Monterosso. Right above a bakery and gelato. Very close to the sea and the trail to Vernazza. Washing machine included good instructions and clothes line on the balcony was very convenient for those of us with long vacations. Very spacious for the location, as the murpy bed was a very easy pull down and push up and quite comfortable!

This apartment was the perfect location and met our needs (family of 3 with one 6 year old). Despite its small size, it had all the amenities and was comfortable for sleeping. I would highly recommend this location if you are spending time in the Cinque Terre.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Antico Borgo, perfect location to explore Monterosso and Cinque Terre. Space is very comfortable. Excellent communication with the Francesco & Giulio.

We’ve stayed at this apartment a few times-the hosts speak English & are available for any questions! The location is a perfect one for us-above a bakery & a short walk to the beach! Restaurants are right out the door! The kitchen is well supplied with cookware so we can cook in & the Murphy bed is very comfortable! There are some stairs to deal with so I would not recommend this to anyone with mobility issues!

Excellent location, it has everything you need, it’s clean, and fairly priced. Just know there are some very steep steps should you have knees, ankles or hip issues. Overall lovely. Highly recommended!

Wonderful compact apartment on a less busy street. Has everything you need for a stay in older side of Monterosso. Need to pay attention to the stairs :) Very near to numerous restaurants, shopping and the piazza. A great place to stay.

This is a well equipped authentic studio not a cookie cutter duplex, we enjoyed that a lot. Studio had everything we needed, compact and ideal for a couple - great to be able to do washing and make coffee! Location is great in the old town but not too near the railway (trains run frequently round the clock) nor above a noisy restaurant. Only issue and not something Francesco could control was quite a lot of noise from before 7am until 7pm from the hotel workshop and laundry just metres away across the lane - meant an early start and no siesta!

We really enjoyed our holiday in Monterosso. The apartment is located in a very central, but still quiet side street in the old town. The apartment was clean and is fully equipped. The landlord Giulio is super uncomplicated and helpful. We'd love to come back!

The property is centrally located in a very narrow and beautiful street. As you exit the building, you will find fresh backed foccacia next door. Just a couple of steps further, there is a small coffee shop with tables outside and great croissants of different flavors. You must try all of them! The restaurants in the area are delicious. Any "frutti di mare" dish has spectacular flavor.

Nice pied à terre in a nice location. Loved Monterosso al Mare. Permits to visit the surrounding villages or just enjoy the village itself. Lots of stairs to access the habitation but it is worth it. Simple but well furnished and located. Would definitely recommend.

Great location to enjoy the Cinque Terre. We appreciated the Cinque Terre guidebook left in the apartment and the washing machine and clothes line. Restaurants and bakery on the doorstep and 5 minutes to the harbour for a sunset cruise. We went with Popeye Boat Tours.

Beautiful apartment. Great location. Steps to many excellent restaurants, bakeries and enoteca’s. Owner met us and provided an orientation. Well stocked. No need to by paper towels or toilet paper. Refrigerator kept my wine cold. Loved every minute of our stay.

Located in the heart of old town the studio apartment is convenient to everything. Although small with lots of light coming in through the window it is a very comfortable space for 2 people. The host was very kind and helped us with hauling luggage upstairs. The Wi-Fi worked well. It was quiet and comfortable sleeping at night. The last flight of stairs is challenging as they are much higher than normal stairs, thank goodness there are hand rails. Once you find the apartment the first time (which took us awhile) it is easy to get to. We loved our stay and would book this studio again!

We had a wonderful time in Monterosso! Our time in Cinque Terre was a dream. This property is in the old town, which is beautiful, and a close walk to the beach. Very spacious for a 1 bedroom condo and had everything you need! Giulio was super helpful and nice! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here and can definitely recommend it to other fellow travelers. The apartment has a mostly quiet central location in the old part of Monterosso and is just next to the fantastic Wonderland Bakery and many other good restaurants. The apartment has a shower and small balcony (no sea view but the sea is super close by). (Almost) all the things we needed were provided on site: some cutlery, cooking utensils, a gas stove and oven and basics likeolive oil, salt and sugar were already in the apartment, as well as shampoo, towels, soap, disinfectant, hair dryer, towels, detergent, cleanser etc. The bed was comfortable and we had lots of pillows and blankets. There is a couch, a small TV (which we didn't use) and the WIFI is decent enough to stream movies and upload holiday pictures to the cloud. We had an air conditioning unit which we barely used, but when we did it worked well. The water in the shower started to run cold after a few days (before we had hot and cold water). There was a power outage at some point which might have tripped a circuit or something and caused this issue, but we didn't mind the cold water as it felt rather refreshing. What we did miss more was enough space to dry our clothes. Initially we only had one pole line. Our apartment contact responded withing hours and fixed the missing pole lines the next da. He was very friendly and super trustworthy! But even after that drying space was still rather limited.

Nice place with a great location, but the sheets were really bad, and were not the correct size for the mattress. Made for uncomfortable nights. The rest of the place was great. Small shower, but it worked well. Steep stairs to get to it, but had good handrails.

apartment was well designed with very comfortable murphy bed. Clean, needed to keep the windows open for airflow with the high humidity in the area. Suggest Monterosso over the other villages, lots to see and do.

The studio apartment was convenient to all of Monterosso. We especially liked we had a clothes washer, kitchen refrigerator and bathroom all to our self. The only thing we could not figure out was how to turn on lights in the dark hallway leading to the 3rd floor unit. We used our phone’s light. Pressing switches in the hall rang other units.

This was a great spot in an ideal location for our 3rd trip to Cinque Terre. We left the Murphy bed down and also slept on the sofa; both were comfortable. Unit is well equipped; check-in host was helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Grazie!

This location was perfect for us. No ocean view but saved us hundreds on our 5 night stay over costly hotels. The unit is small but comfortable and functional. Other guests commented that AC was inadequate but our experience was several times we turned it off because it was getting cold. We loved the little alley it was on and great bakery and restaurants very close by. Also a very safe spot, never a hint of worry as it had a very secure locked lobby.

This place was awesome. Just as shown. It was great for the 2 of us. Fabulous location, quiet and so close to anything that you require. Francesco was great to deal with, he really helped us with are long travel to figure out the trains. And once you use them it is easy. With his broken English, just remember that when you walk out of train station head up small hill through the tunnel with the water on your RIGHT. The rest is easy. I wish we could have stayed longer. Remember, in Italy all showers are small and almost every toilet or WC you use will cost up to 1 euros. Gord & Sally June 2019 👍🇨🇦😁.
