the location is so small should be called nano-loft . if you are over 170 then you crash on everything . don’t stretch ! what you see in the picture is balcony / entrance . the lift did not work when I arrived . the “bathrooms. with a curtain is small than a plane’s

The room is well situated, 5 minutes walk from ULB and from tram/bus. A few restaurants and a supermarket are close to the room. All necessary kitchen facilities included: a microwave, induction plate, a few pans, a small fridge. Decorations are quite cosy and stylish. Heat pump heating, room is pretty warm. More than enough electrical sockets, they are available in every corner. Welcome tea/coffee bags are a nice bonus.
The room was very humid, every time you take a shower the "vintage" tiles are soaked with water, and then take ages to dry up, even with the exhaust ventilator always on.
The whole building smells cigarette smoke, and it felt like it was coming to the room through the holes around the drain pipes.
The staircase to access the room are extremely narrow and steep, it will be impossible to bring any suitcase, only backpacks will pass. Imagine a circular staircase to access the bell tower of a church, here the stairs are steeper and even more narrow.
The bed was a bit inclined, I was rolling to the wall side all the time.

Nice apartment and balcony. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom.
The winding staircase leading to the apartment is very narrow. Also, the apartment was very cold and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the sewers. I tried to contact the host, but never received an answer...

the unique interior, how clean was the appartment, and the terrace.

It had all we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean and modern.
It was a bit further out of the city than what we had realised but to be fair we got used to the buses, just a couple minutes walk from the apartment and they are so reliable one almost every 5 mins and on the whole the drivers were very helpful.

Great location, really enjoyed the view.
Small toilet. Really steep stairs into the apartment.

The window was big, and the shower had enough warm water.
The title promised a terrace, but it wasn't there. The pictures in the announcement were really confusing. The apartment door worked from both directions only with a key. If one wanted to go alone to visit the city, the other would have stayed in the apartment behind the locks, not at all safe. There were no emergency exit signs anywhere or a map of the floor plan where you would have seen a staircase, etc. incase of fire. The location was far from the center, 20-30 minutes by bus. The area looked dilapidated, not a tourist area. There was no air conditioning, we had to sleep with the window open. The floor was dirty, dusty and the ceiling had spider webs. The toilet was not isolated from the rest of the apartment except by a curtain, and in order to take a shower you had to climb over the toilet. Toilet paper was completely missing. The bed was squeaky and the edges of the sheet were full of trash and loose hair from the previous guests. The freezer compartment of the refrigerator had frozen over. The walls were completely soundproof, normal speech could be heard through the walls.

Terrace
Pillows weren’t good and the place wasn’t that clean
3.3
actually the terrace is quite nice but as the rest it is scruffy and not maintained well.
most of the furniture from the photos is not existing anymore. the things that still exist are dirty or not maintained. the Bathroom / Toilet was a Desaster - had some leftovers in. the shower was dirty and full of limescale! if you want to sleep with an open window you allways need to be prepared for visitors as the terrace gets shared via 4 apartments.

Straightforward, basic/clean, good location for ULB
Fewer stairs!

lovely room and terrace area
the staircase to the property is really steep and the entrance hall is dated. I didn't like the fact it was above residential flats.

Location and price
It’s very very small! There was water coming out from the AC, they couldn’t repair it so they recommend us to use a bucket
3.3
The location and Wi-if is perfect. Also, free use of cutlery and kitchenware are very convenient for me.
The stairs to the loft is more narrow that I’ve expected and it was very hard to carry my luggage to the room.
Some of the equipments were broken and a little bit hard to use them satisfactorily.

located in short walking distance from the ULB university with plenty of food options around the corner. Very solid WIFI, automatic check-in process with a code. The Room is well equipped for a week-long stay (microwave with grill function, fridge) with two nice rooftop wooden terraces - one in front of the entrance and one behind.
The equipment could use some love. The walls are paper-thin - prepare to listen in on your neighbors' conversations and nightly moaning (during fun activities) or snoring... Also - the terrace behind the room is shared by four mini-flats, and could allow for surprising insights - you can close the blinds, but the entry door has a large window that does not have a curtain and people can see from the outside right onto your bed... I found it a little troubling, but I could accept this.

We stayed at the "WOOD" apartment which is equipped mostly with IKEA furniture.
This tiny apartment is suited for max. 2 people. But the small space is very well organized.
The AC worked very well and comfortable.
The highlight is the roof terrace on both sides of the apartment (front and back).
WiFi access is fast and stable.
The apartment is quite nicely located and close to some restaurants, bars and supermarket (approx. 5 minutes walk).
Beware of the steps! The elevator stops on the 3rd floor - the 4th floor must be reached over very steep and small steps. These steps are highly uncomfortable and unsafe. Bigger people certainly will have trouble climbing the steps, also carrying luggage is a challenge.
We did have problems opening the door as the key didn't seem to fit the lock. We put some oil on the key and in the lock and after 2-3 days everything worked well. You will receive only one pair of keys (for the front door and for the apartment door).
On the roof top there are 4 apartments. When we booked we didn't know which one we would get. Gladly we didn't have many neighbors as the walls are very thin und you can hear everything your neighbor says or does.
The bathroom is not completely separated from the rest of the apartment - so using the toilet might not a very private matter... The shower curtain (there's no door) was extremely dirty - so we had to clean it. The big sink must be also used for dish washing.
The "kitchen" consists of a microwave oven (we didn't use), one cooking plate (induction), a water boiler, a toaster and a "Nespresso" coffee machine (provided with two capsules). The kitchen equipment is very basic and you should not plan to make fancy meals.
The parking situation is tricky! Yes, there is parking space on the street. But you need either a license to park there as a resident or place a parking disc (provided in the apartment) in your car and adjust it every two hours (from 8am til 6pm). Some people told us that the misuse can be fined with 130 € - and there's a police station very close! If you plan to go Central Brussels drive by car (approx. 1,5 km) to the "Delta" station which has plenty of parking space for free and without time limit (Park & Ride). Then take the metro no. 5 and you will arrive 15 minutes later at the central station.

The location is good, it was quite well connected and there were several supermarkets around it.
The apartment was extremely small contrary to what the pictures show, the bathroom smelled terrible and the floor was coming off. The curtains didn’t actually cover anything and the terrace was shared, so whenever a neighbour walked through they could see everything inside the apartment. The door also has a big round window that cannot be covered. The bed is awful and too small for 2 people. The apartment is dark.
3.3
Location is ok, close to tram and bus stops, and shops. Bois de Cambre nearby for walking/running.
1. Keybox is difficult to see the numbers.
2. Dangerous spiral staircase up to top floor where the studio is.
3. No sound insulation, could hear everything going on in the other studios and also the apartment below.
4. Other guests, noisy, inconsiderates, one French couple who were constantly drunk and sat on the terrace all night talking.
5. Studio wasn't so clean, worktops and floor were sticky, needs a really good deep clean prior to guests arriving.
6. Free parking is not totally free. It is based on a blue disc which gives 2 hours parking on the street, after which the disc needs to be adjusted.
7. Was charged for 2 occupants so paid an extra €40+ for city tax even though it was just me in the studio. Have queried this for repayment but have heard nothing form Booking.com or host. I will raise a chargeback with my credit card company to resolve this.

The loft and the terrace
The stairs are scary, especially if u have baggage

The manager is very helpful and thoughtful, allowed me to check in at a very early time. Really appreciate it!
The bathroom is a bit small.
3.3
Great location, small but comfortable, for a maximum of two persons. very nice terrace, easy parking on the street just in from of the building. Restaurants and terraces next to it. supermarket at walking distance.
the shower is very low, not easy if you are taller than 185cm. bad isolated could hear the neighbours talking, laughing. very narrow stairs. not accessible for reduced mobility people.

The design concept is nice - There is just the problem of getting the prefered room design. Both balconies are large and enables groups, booking more than one room to share the evening at a nice table on top of the city.
The decription of this loft was misleading - The "free public parking lots" on the street were just free for 2 hours (between 8am and 6pm) - Commuting to the city center with public transport was therefore not able. The room smelled like a smoking guest stayed there for half a year (although smoking was prohibited). We stayed for two nights - Kept the windows open all time and sprayed febreze as much as possible - It was just a little help to get rid of this smell. The air condition was most pobrobably not maintained at all after building the appartement. Almost immediately ofter turing the AC on, it started dripping large water drops twice a second, indicating a blocked condenation drain. After 4 hours we filled the trash can by half. The provided kitchen items (pans, toaster, coffemachine etc.) were in a very bad shape. The pans were completely scratched so that is was impossible to not eat the toxic teflon, the toasted was disgusting inside ... ) Getting to the appartements is dangerous, as after the nice elevator ride to the 3rd level, the winding staircase to the appartements is with 40cm width impossible small. As an 1,88m person, I could only take the stairs to the appartements by walking sideways. Together with a heavy suitecase my heart rate went to 150 at this point. In case of an emergency, this is not beneficial either.

The room was obviously not cleaned before our arrival. Everything was dusty and there were stains on the dishes which we had to wash although we were left with an almost empty bottle of dish soap and a disgusting used sponge. The fact we needed to wash the dishes in the bathroom sink made things worse. We also had to buy toilet paper as we were left with the end of a roll for two…for a one week stay. The thermostat is only there to decorate. The free parking is a purposely misleading advertisement as it is, not only extremely inconvenient to amend the blue disc every two hours, but also illegal. As well as the television which somehow has only three channels that are all French-speaking. We couldn’t help but find this a bit absurd in a multilingual country like Belgium. The lack of privacy is what started to make us feel extremely uncomfortable. Indeed, Wednesday as we were trying to rest (it was my only free day this week), the cleaning lady started yelling on the phone for an endless amount of time, she also kept watching through our window as we were lying in bed. A bed that was so poorly made it is ridiculous. The sheet doesn’t fit and the blanket is for one person only. I am deeply allergic to dust mites and it provokes deep asthma crisis and rashes which I had every night staying here. Since we were only provided with one set of bed linen, we tried to shake them outside to air them, and this is when we discovered nasty stains everywhere, even on the bed cover. This is unacceptable. What was supposed to be a nice staycation became a stressful hell. We, therefore, refuse to spend one single night more in this place and have checked out one day earlier.
Btw, right next to the house there are living drug addict people in terrible conditions, area is not safe at all, they were throwing glasses, bottles through the windows, right next to the cars, always yelling.

Idea is wonderful
Super small room. Not enough space.
3.3
Good location, quiet street but close to bars & restaurants. Roof terrace was really nice. Good use of space. Bed was comfy. Well equipped kitchen. Good transport links nearby.
Was awkward to open key box to get keys on arrival. Very steep steps to get to apartment. Only one sink so washing dishes & hands & face in same one maybe not the best at the moment.

The design was good, also the roof terace!
It was very warm in the flat. I had to keep the window permanently open. It also smelled like somone used to smoke in there a lot a couple of years ago. The couch and the floor could need an extra attention for cleaning.
