The property is immaculately clean, decorated like the pictures, with short walk to the beach, and excellent amenities nearby.

Caister Mini Break
This location suited us because of friends living nearby. However, being situated on a busy main road with No on site parking may not suit all. The cottage is clean, tastefully decorated and spacious but unfortunately has a damp problem, especially in the entrance hall and main bedroom, which means there is a musty smell throughout.

Perfect for a weekend getaway
The property was immaculately clean and just like the pictures. Some noise on Saturday night from the pub next door, particularly as the beer garden abuts the garden wall. Short walk to the beach and excellent chinese takeaway a few doors down.

Great property
We were very happy with the property, it exceeded expectations! Caister-on-Sea itself is not very inspiring but great as a base for surrounding areas. Some lovely beaches/villages all along the coast.

In summary, a nice and comfortable place which needs a proper clean
The cottage is easy to find and there are good amenities around with a Tesco a short drive away and a Lidl, Co-op and various restaurants & takeaways a short walk away. We couldn't find any way to park safely in front of the cottage to unload. Just round the corner parking was available on West Road. It is worth noting the close proximity of the front of the house to the road. This may be noisy for some with windows open. The cottage is also right next door to a pub. Again, for some a plus and for others a negative. It's worth noting though. Access is via a lock box which worked exactly as expected. Inside the place has been refurbished to a very high standard. In particular the kitchen and bathroom are stunning. Lots of nice little touches like abundant toiletries. Check in was via a tablet. To gain access to information about the cottage check in needed to be completed. To complete check in guests are forced to allow the owner and 'YourWelcome' to retain personal information for 2 years and to allow the owners and YourWelcome to communicate. The owners should be aware that this practice is now illegal under EU-wide General Data Protection Regulations. Heating is via NEST and seemed to work well. There is SKY TV, but access to pretty much all but the 5 terrestrial channels was blocked.
The biggest problem we experienced was poor cleanliness. Sadly, this let the whole experience down. From the moment we got there my son's puppy was finding and eating jelly sweets left on the floor in the lounge. These are bad for dogs! There was a dirty sock left behind the bathroom door. Some of the cutlery was dirty. We played it safe and washed all the crockery and utensils we needed prior to using them. I dropped a coin under the wardrobe in the second bedroom. When I looked under to retrieve it I found an empty coca cola bottle and an old pack of biscuits. It's a nice cottage which has been refurbished to a very high standard. Lack of adequate cleaning lets it down.

Excellent holiday property perfectly equipped for a family and near to a lovely beach
A very well equipped house for self-catering and very child friendly. Very clean and well furnished. Perfect location. Close to the beach (comfortable walking distance). Although it's not possible to park outside the house there is accessible free parking very nearby. We really enjoyed our holiday. Located on a busy road but noise is managed by keeping windows closed. Very well furnished and equipped house including all linen and towels. Wifi provided. Recommend a stay here.

Fantastic property finished to a high standard
This property is a great find. It's central location makes it really accessible. When we arrived it was lovely and clean, some really nice home touches. They had thought about everything you may need. It's great for a family, lots of room, and great decor. I would definitely recommend this property. Communication with the owners was great, they responded really quickly to queries before I arrived.
