About this cabin rental

Please note that in high season, 25 june - 27 august, it is only possible to rent the house on weekly basis, changeover day saturday.

Our beautiful luxury all wooden home is built according to fine old traditions and with a modern Nordic style. It is spacious and very attractively decorated. The large kitchen/dining area connects with the living room, which is the house’s central space that invites relaxation and socialising with family and friends, for example, in front of a crackling fire in the stone fireplace.

From the lounge there are double patio doors that let in plenty of light into the house. These doors lead out to the large, partially covered patio.

The terrace is beautifully furnished for outdoor dining and relaxation. Here you can enjoy the silence, the beautiful scenery, the evening sun, the view of the horse pastures and grill a steak on the Weber grill.

The house has four cosy bedrooms with double beds, which can be separated into single beds. In addition, there are two bathrooms, one with a double shower and toilet. The second with a spa bath, toilet and a washer/dryer.

PS: Not that we think you will have time for it, but there is of course smart TV with a google chromecast.

Electricity consumption must be paid with 0,5 euro per used kwh.

Additional services that we offer:
Fee for bringing your dog is 70 euro.
Final cleaning, 150 euro.
Linen (bedclothes, towel and kitchen cloths) 16 euro per person.
Firewood, 12 euro per sack.

We loved the cabin, it was comfortable and cosy. It was just fantastic to look out back into the woods, there were lovely trails to walk on. It was super to barbecue there. It is rather isolated and one has to drive a ways to get to a larger town or to events. Thanks to Kim and Susanne for the placement of the ramp and the assistance with any little problems that came up or information that we needed. They were great!

Great cabins in a peaceful place. They are bigger than they seem in the pictures due to the very cool large logs used. Especially the 8 person cabin is huge, luxe and relatively new. The 6 person one is cozier. When we booked we were wondering if it was too much in the middle of nowhere, since there is no city close-by (in Dutch standards), but we ended up liking to have multiple cities in a 20 minute drive. To be able to go to harbor town Båstad one day, cute Laholm the next and the bigger stores in Ängleholm the day after that. Kim and Susanne are very nice hosts. Our car broke down, so we had to stay a bit longer than anticipated. They were easy to reach and flexible with our plans.

Geräumiges schönes Haus. Erlebnispark in der Nähe auch gut für kurze Mountainbiketouren geeignet. Sehr nette Vermieter. Durch die Waldlage im Inneren etwas dunkel, aber sehr gepflegt!

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Hütte, wunderschöne Umgebung, idyllisch und romantisch und vom Alltag abgeschieden… Bis auf Putzmittel muss man alles selbst mitbringen (Gewürze, Tee, Hygieneartike, Holz zum Kamin heizen,…) Würden jederzeit wieder hingehen!

Perfekt boende :) vi trodde de skulle vara mycket mindre när man såg stugan utanför men var exakt som bilderna hade visat! Vi trivdes jätte bra :) och de var super nära till kungsbygget som vi också besökte med familjen för massa aktiviteter. Dom som äger stugan vara SUPER TREVLIGA och svara direkt när man hade frågor m.m innan vi kommit dit Vi är super nöjda med allt !!

Das Objekt selbst ist eigentlich schön. Doch man konnte sich kaum entspannen, da sämtliche Dinge, wie z.B. Strom (mit dem leider auch geheizt werden musste und mit dem die Fußbodenheizung betrieben wurde) und Feuerholz für den Kamin extra bezahlt werden mussten. Der Müll muss exakt getrennt werden, ansonsten wurde mit "Bußgeld" gedroht. Wir sind am frühen Samstag Morgen angereist und durften früher rein, da das Objekt leer stand. Kulant, dachten wir, bis es dann am nächsten Morgen hieß, wir müssten das Geld für die frühere Anreise zahlen (der Preis für die frühere Abreise wurde hingegen nicht erstattet). So etwas muss vorher besprochen werden, damit man die Möglichkeit hat es sich zu überlegen! Des Weiteren sind wir einen Tag früher als vorgesehen abgereist, die Vermieterin meinte, sagen zu müssen das gleich neue Gäste kämen, was sehr merkwürdig war. Insgesamt war es teurer als erwartet, da man bei diesem Preis davon ausgehen sollte, dass wenigstens der Strom inklusive ist und sich Extrakosten im Ramen halten. Wir hatten uns etwas anderes erhofft. Unbeschwerte Gastfreundschaft sieht unserer Meinung nach anders aus!

Wunderschön eingerichtetes, neues und gepflegtes Ferienhaus mit großer, überdachter Veranda mitten im Wald. Bequeme Betten, freundlicher hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Als die Waschmaschine kaputt ging, hatten wir am selben Tag eine neue. Und als eines der Kinder eine kleine Verletzung hatte, war Kim sofort hilfsbereit zur Stelle und brachte zum Trost die leckersten Zimtschnecken Schwedens. Wir konnten Radtouren auf kaum befahrenen Straßen ans Meer unternehmen, den 4 km entfernten Bike-Park nutzen, Tennis spielen, an der Halbinsel von Bastad wandern, Bastad und Göteborg besichtigen. Die flach abfallenden Sandstrände sind für Kinder ideal. Es war eine herrliche Woche und wir werden wiederkommen.

Super lækker Hytte og rigtig rar vært

Var sammen med familien for at fejre min mors fødselsdag. Helt perfekte rammer i super lækker hytte, med simpel indretning helt perfekt til 10 personer. Vi hyggede foran pejsen med god rødvin. Kommer helt sikkert tilbage, hvor der også skal være tid til en dag eller to på pisten.

Dejligt hus og udlejer

Det var første gang vil skulle på ferie med svigerforældre. Huset skulle gerne være rummeligt nok til begge familier, og det gjorde dette. Det er godt og solidt indrettet med god plads. Det fungerer så fint og ligger på en stille og rolig vej hvor skoven får lov til at være hovedcentrum. Der er ca 7 km til nærmeste indkøb, men når man alligevel er ude at køre for at se Sverige som vi valgte var det ikke noget problem. Vi var der om efteråret og havde en go tid. Udlejeren er fantastisk venlige og nemme at komme i kontakt med.

The house is a very nice and comfortable family home, the living room has everything you need, and has a lot of space. The bedrooms are nice situated and the beds are perfect. The house is situated in a nice and quiet forest area, which makes it ideal to experience silence for nature lovers. The home is easy to reach in just one day from the middle of the Netherlands. From the location you can reach several villages and cities, like Laholm, Båstad, Halmstad and in 1,5 hour also Malmö. Greetings, Pim and Marja, Patrick and Caroline
