This resort is truly remarkable! With its stunning location and tranquil surroundings, it is an ideal destination for a vacation. The staff is exceptional, providing attentive and friendly service that enhances the overall experience. However, it should be noted that a light renovation is needed to maintain the resort's charm. While the existing facilities are still functional, some areas could benefit from updates and refurbishments. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this resort for its unparalleled beauty and the unforgettable experiences it offers.

Calm area, courteous staff. Excellent service
Old looks of the room. Definitely not worth the money

Lovely stay .. beautiful property..the staff were amazing..this was the first stay of our honeymoon and they made it really special..MUST TRY!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. The sounds of nature around at night created a pleasant atmosphere.
The water pressure in the bathroom was too low (barely any water). After calling the reception they did manually increase it but it was the same the next day. The area around the resort (including the pool) seems to be remote but it's close to a busy street and you can definitely hear it. The restaurant was quite expensive with mediocre food. Overal it was a bit too expensive for what you get.

The hotel was nice , however there was no breakfast buffet, the food is very basic , And also the hotel And the Rooms Look a bit old .

Location was great, with nice villages, temple and fields nearby.
Very very helpful and polite staff.
Hotel in the jungle, experience was exciting. Loved it.
Bed was actually good. View of the jungle from the room amazing. Loved it.
I loved the spa and floral bath, was amazing. Note that picture of floral bath is not inside the room. Spa is on the hotel premises. Also looks like it's better maintained.
They've changed my room for better one, after roof incident... Gave a discount for spa.
Hotel really needed renovation. Moldy ceiling in bathrooms, leaky roofs etc. Bathroom really looked gloomy, if you gaze at the ceiling.
My friend recommended me that hotel, but she was there 7 years ago. I've had an impression that not much was done in these 7 years.
Roof leaked on to my electrics on the desk by tv. Luckily nothing got damaged. But it was scary: coming back from walk and seeing all chargers on the desk in pools of water. Hotel tv set also got wet.
Noisy road below the hotel somewhat spolis the peace.
Be careful with restaurant, food is mediocre.

Very good service
Some insects are around and inside the villa but it is acceptable as you are living in the jungles.

The place is about 20-25 minutes from Ubud and far from Denpasar (it took us 5 hrs in total from arrival to Bali until arriving at the hotel). The rooms were spacious and clean. A fruit basket was in each room, as well amenities. The food prepared on the last days was excellent / the new chef did really good cooking, and the staff (nana and mega) were friendly, always smiling and gentle. The tour we did with Jo was excellent he has a good knowledge of Bali's history and tradition, and his English was very good. We also enjoy a nice traditional night of dance performance at the restaurant. Unfortunately, on that night, the choice for the menu was too westernized, while it would have been better to have Indonesian flavors. The hotel is at walking distance of a beautiful water temple.
The pool view is nice, but since the hotel is just up the main street, all the noise of the cars and motorbikes disturbs the peace of the place. The cushions for the deck chairs are old, dirty, with stains, and moldy. It was not nice to sit in therm, and we needed towels to cover them. One of the days of our vacation was a festive day in Bali, the number of guests increased, and the kitchen ran out of some products. It is advisable to check in advance the supplies before a holiday when all is closed, and the guests cannot drink or eat the offers on the menu. The yoga mats are old and dirty.. not recommended to use them. It was a bit particular as a guest to see that the hotel personnel does several tasks there. The waitress is also a massagist, and the receptionist is the yoga trainer. In general, the pictures on the website and the internet do not reflect the reality of the hotel's condition.

I liked the breakfast and our villa. I also liked the big pool! Very friendly staff.
Maybe there could be more options for the breakfast.

the accommodation was lovely - the setting, the lush grounds and well presented.
the room was comfortable but clearly in need of maintenance such as having doors lock, shower head clean, bathtub function.
the staff made up for the deficiencies namely, Mega and Nanis.
whilst the grounds were exceptionally maintained, they will need to give consideration to improving the room.
they promote spa treatments (which is the reason I chose Puri Gangga) I was met with a disappointing manicure, Reiki massage and as a result I didn’t pursue more of the “Spa treatments”.
Whilst they accommodated to my food allergies, the consistency of cooking needs to be considered as we experienced some disappointments in trying local Balinese food.

it is a quiet boutique resort and unique on its own way if you want to enjoy the calm and to disconnect from the busy Ubud touristic side, also at 4min walk you can visit the most beautiful temple Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu which you barely see tourists there and mainly locals, the staff are the best and always making feel welcomed.
I visited in 2014 and I must say that the portion and quality of food in the breakfast was much better.
also at the shower had some issues where the sink was blocked and every time you shower the water goes everywhere in the bathroom! I also remember this issue happened when I visited previously.
a side from the above all is fantastic

Beautiful Private villa and plunge pool.
Friendly, helpful Staff.
Close to the temple.
The location in the hills. Nice walks amongst rice fields and village of Sebatu.
Peaceful
The limited menu at the restaurant
The very slippery pathways
The bug fogger application throughout the resort the day we arrived

We had a beautiful stay at this resort where we really liked the room, the view, the pool, the service and the garden, which looked like a very pretty park - balinese style. Very quiet and lovely, a great place to relax!

The view and surrounding nature were amazing. Staff made an extra effort during our stay. We appreciated complementary foot massage and yoga classes.
The mattress was too soft.

the resort is beautiful, little paradise only that the villas needs more maintenance , and cleanness.
pool villa wasn't clean, couldn't swim.

One of the staff members, Lia, was lovely and wonderful. She was so helpful and even answered the numerous questions I had before my stay.
There were bugs everywhere. I understand it is in the middle of the jungle however they needed covers for the food and they needed to clean the rooms a little more. There were dead ants all over the bed net and there was bugs all over the bathroom. The shower kept flooding and I had asked a few times for it to be fixed but never got around to it.
