We really enjoyed our stay at the Nook even though it was a quick visit for one night. Patrick was very helpful throughout the entire experience and even let us use his personal freezer to store some items. The house was lovely along with the grounds/landscaping. The only recommendation I would make is the interior needed a little sprucing up maybe with a fresh coat of paint in a couple of the rooms.

Staying at The Nook was an absolutely excellent start to our Ireland adventure. It was the perfect place for us to stay while exploring Dublin and the surrounding areas. The accommodations are perfect for two or three couples, and we found the setting in the countryside to be ideal vs. staying at a hotel in Dublin. And Daneil was great to work with. We can't wait to come back!

The Nook is a perfect VRBO. It had everything we needed for our 6 night stay in Ireland. A bonus for sure was having the ability to wash/dry clothes. Daniel, was very efficient with communication and we had no problems with check-in and check out. The place has plenty of room and allowed us all to spread out be very comfortable.

Five of us stayed at Daniel's place for a couple of nights at the end of our Ireland trip. This was easily the nicest place we stayed throughout our 2-week trip. The Nook was clean and comfortable, and (unlike every other place we stayed) had sufficient hot water for all of us to shower. The area and grounds are beautiful and the proximity to Dublin city can't be beat. Their pup Ben was an added bonus, we loved running into him and showering him with pets!
We hope to stay again on our next trip, and absolutely recommend it if you're looking for a place near Dublin!

Lovely home in a very nice neighborhood. Excellent communication with the owner. Highly recommend.

The property was even more lovely than the pictures. The rooms were very large, and the garden was beautiful. Daniel was very easy to contact, and extremely accommodating. My son got sick during the flight there, so he was gracious enough to let us check in a little early. We were a little cold, but got much cozier when we remembered to turn on the fireplace.

Perfect hideaway for those with cars.
An attractive and spacious "nook" in beautiful surroundings just outside Dublin. For visitors with a car, the secure gated parking and easy access to the city is perfect. Communication with Daniel was quick and clear. Recommended.

Cozy
Property manager very easy to work with, even offered early check in when he knew our flight from the US arrived very early in the morning. We would not hesitate to book this property again.

Great stay convenient to Dublin
We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was conveniently located minutes from the train station and train ride is about 40 minutes to Connolly station. We had some difficulty initially finding the house as cell phones did not work upon arriving from U.S. Make sure owner emails you well in advance with exact directions. Otherwise house was well stocked and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Lovely Accommodations
Lovely, quiet accommodations adjacent to the main house. Bed was comfortable, sitting room was attractive and cozy, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. Owner was on site and available to answer our questions. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Fabulous stay in beautiful surroundings
Lovely house in an amazing situation. Very secluded and private but within easy reach of all amenities. The place was well equipped with everything we needed. It was a lovely touch to be left a bottle of red by the owners too. Would love to stay here again.

Clean, quiet, easy accomodations for a small family
Clean, reasonably spacious for 4 adults and a 1 year old baby, well appointed for cooking. They even had a high chair and portable crib for the baby already set up for us. The location is an easy drive to the DART station and the Rathmichael woods are just outside the door and an absolutely beautiful walk. We really enjoyed our time!

A charming Irish home
Our week at The Nook was wonderful! The Nook is located in a beautiful countryside setting with flowers and trees in abundance and provides the feel of “living with the locals”. The Nook is quaint, clean and spacious. Daniel is a fine host and responded quickly to all our needs and requests. He was very helpful in solving problems I had with an emergency Fed Ex delivery from the USA. We are a retired couple that travel a lot and have rented many homes and apartments in the US and abroad. The Nook met and exceeded our expectations and we have no doubt it will do so for all future visitors.

Comfortable - cute - a bit distu
Overall enjoyed our stay. Daniel was quite attentive. My only complaint was it was a bit dusty around the TV with small dust bunnies on a few of the walls.
Aside from this we had a wonderful time, the property was great, parking was easy. We hired a car to drive around the area. Thank you so much!

Beautiful Property
This rental unit is attached to a lovely home with beautiful grounds. It's not too far from the light rail transit station, but you do need a car. The bedrooms are quite large, whereas, the living, kitchen and bath are a bit small. Plenty of parking, and the property has an automatic gate, so very secure.
The washer/dryer are not in the unit - you need to inquire with the owner to get access.
This was our first time to Ireland, and this was the first place we stayed. We found it challenging to find the place (got lost), so be sure to get clear instructions, including the name of the development, and the name of the house, as there are no addresses like we're used to in USA.
Owner-managed, and their response time is good.

Perfect
Daniel was the perfect host. He even remembered that my husband and I were celebrating our 30th and greeted us with a card and candy. Beautiful property. Convenient to many sites

Clean, secure, beautiful rental
This property is well maintained and very spacious with very gracious hosts. We enjoyed the local area around Bray as well as the easy access to the Wicklow Park region and Dublin. Train access was close by and really a nice easy way to enter Dublin. I would definitely book this location again! My only addition that would make this place absolutely perfect would be a washing machine and dryer.
