Very nice villa with good restaurans and beach club nearby - although you need a car to get into Kalkan itself.

Clean, well serviced, great view over bay, lovely and clean pool and plenty of room area around it with sun loungers. Bread every morning delivered before you get up and drinking water delivered to. You do have to pay for this at the end it’s not part of villa cost.
One of the double rooms is on a separate ground floor and not directly connected to the main villa so In reality would be for adults or young adults.
10 minute walk to beach club and water sports. Would definitely recommend. Excellent.

Best nights sleep
Overall, a very pleasant villa. Bedrooms are airy and light (take your eye masks as there is no blackout curtains). Fabulous cupboard space and spacey bathrooms. The beds were huge and very comfortable. Sunloungers need replacing as are very old and rickety and a couple of chairs on the upstairs balcony would be good to enjoy the stunning view. Management team very efficient and helpful, cleaners amazing. welcome pack wasn't the best we've had over the years but was adequate.

Villa Gelidonya kalkan
Very good stay in Villa Gelidonya with excellent communication from the very beginning. Kalkan is a very interesting resort and would thoroughly recommend. Downside is that Kalkan is very very hilly and these slows are steep in many places.

Fantastic villa and location
A stunning villa in a quite superb location, fantastic bedrooms and bathrooms, lounge and kitchen area faultless, outside area just perfect, I've been looking at villas in kalkan for the past five years and in my opinion you would not find a villa offering what this one does in this price anywhere in kalkan or Kalamar, just a great holiday in a great place!!!!.

Perfection in glorious Kalkan
The property is beautifully kept, modern in design, light and airy. The views from the balconies and deck are stunning and we found it a very quiet area of Kalkan when we were there. The pool was maintained every morning and fresh bread left for breakfast - a lovely touch. A lovely base for a wonderful Kalkan holiday and just a short taxi ride into town (less than 20 TL each way), although we walked in and back and it only takes 25 minutes each way if you fancy it. The stand alone apartment was ideal for our daughter and her boyfriend and the villa accommodated our party of 6 (including my 90 year old very fit mother in law) perfectly. We would highly recommend and hope to return

fantastic
Absolutely fantastic Villa.Appointed to a very high standard in every room.Outside area very spacious with great sun beds, patio furniture and huge, much needed parasols for when it gets too hot.! The infinity pool is beautiful and a lovely temperature (cool enough to refresh you)
Kept immaculately clean throughout. We even had fresh bread delivered every morning and a guy who fetched all our food and drink to order(delivered within 20 mins, amazing.)
Located 25 mins walk into Kalkan, very hilly 1st 150 meters, but a pleasant walk with several bars and restaurants enrolee all of which were fantastic.
There are lots of "stray"territorial dogs, which are cared for locally and are fine, but could be a little disconcerting if you are dog nervous.
House Cafe is a must 5 mins away and the food in Kulube Hotel, also very good and they welcome your custom and you can visit in the day too.
If you don't fancy walking into Kalkan the taxis are at your beck and call and only 15TL.
Kalkan is full of fantastic restaurants,we never had a bad meal and ate out every night.(8 of us)Many of which are on the roof tops as are some lovely bars.
Overall and absolutely fab holiday in a fab villa.

OMG! What a vista.
A glorious 10 night stay at Villa Gelidonya. Spacious, clean and well presented. All rooms have luxurious white leather beds with super comfortable matresses. Best nights sleep I have had in years. The infinity pool and terraces are spacious with views to die for. The gas bbq was well used by us but it would have been useful to have a microwave for quick convenience reheating and snacks.
Kalamar bay is just on the outskirts of Kalkan and we personally preferred the location to central Kalkan. As the area is incredibly hilly we would recommend a car. Good restaurants are bountiful in Kalkan but if you wanted to stay more local, Cafe Vita and the Elixir hotel are good choices. The weather was fantastic for the whole of our stay with daytime temperatures of 32 degrees + dropping to around
17 degrees in the evening with a refreshingly cool mountain breeze. The perfect climate.
All in all we would highly recommend this property and will definitely be staying here again. A huge thank you to Alex and Terry the property owners for allowing us to use their beautiful holiday home.

Its the final day of 10 and im typing this beside the pool wondering if i can push my flights back... indefinitely... The Villa has housed 7 of us with room to spare, its a beautiful example of a new build villa and one of the nicest ive seen here. split over 4 floors each bedroom has been finished to a very high standard each ensuite is also lovely. the living area is large, comfortable and modern the teenage boys especially loved the huge HD TV with direct internet access and the 3D glasses. The sofa is enormous easily seating all of us when we decided to watch a movie. The kitchen was large enough to house 3 floyd style cooks and it opens onto the communal living space so you never feel out of it. If you like me love to cook you may find theres a lack of appliances its pretty basic, no hand whisk even, made the pancakes challenging but its a small point. We ate on the outside dinning table every night we were at the villa its huge and right next to the gas grill which we used twice. The pool and outside seating area also only get praise, i would definitely recommend the villa Jasmine, but more than that the area, Kalkan is utterly charming, theres one big club by the harbour Ibiza style the boys went to 3 times and loved, it easily compares to some of the better London clubs and easily over 100 smaller restaurants and bars for the quieter evenings, the shopping is amazing so bring plenty of cash... Taxis are cheep and the place if pretty magical. so what are the draw backs.... there must be some. There are but they are all such minor points ill just bullet them. The villa doesn't have a folder with useful local info in it so do your area research before hand to save losing time at the start. All the floors are polished stone, its stunning, but it proved lethal on several occasions over 10 days there was around 10 falls (especially in the bathroom and stairs) The bill in the bars and restaurants is invariably wrong, theres always something on there you didn't order, however they do take it straight of once you point it out.The villa is on a hill, a steep hill, a really steep hill. its probably only 100 meters to the flat road and We all managed to walk up it to the cafe and shop for supplies but it would be a challenge to someone who isn't at least of medium fitness. Finally the worst thing is its so lovely you don't want to leave.....im going back to London totally dissatisfied at its lack of Mediterranean climate.
