Our visit to Chiswick was perfect. The house is lovely, nearby to transportation and on a nice, quiet street. Check-in was very easy, the VRBO photos are accurate (in fact, the place was even nicer than we thought it might be). The hosts were lovely and even invited us for a drink. The cleaner came frequently and was also a delightful person to have visit. We definitely would have stayed longer but the house was booked :(

We can recomend it 100%, it is such a beautiful house. A very friendly hostess answered our questions promptly, we felt well looked after. We felt like we were at home. Okay, there are no palmtrees and grey sqirrels in the North of Germany :). There is a very good subway connection, the Oyster Card was our best friend, but in the surrounding area are also wondeful reataurants and shops. We wish everyone a lot of fun in this wonderful house.

We are a family of 4 staying for 5 nights. One teen slept in the 2nd bedroom and one slept on the futon located in the family room. Very clean property and comfortably furnished. Located 10 minute walk to the main Chiswick High Road where most of the local restaurants are located and Chiswick Park Underground (subway) that we used to get to London city center, Heathrow Airport, and other locations. A helpful instruction booklet for the property (i.e. garbage collection, recycling instructions, places to eat, transportation, etc) was very welcome. We definitely recommend this property for your visit to London/Chiswick!

We had such a wonderful time in this beautiful, and comfortable home. After a long day of sight seeing it was so nice to come home to a nice and cozy home. Sandra was wonderful in answering our questions. Definitely a must stay! Thank you Sandra for a truly memorable stay.
Also a huge thank you to Angelo for being so nice and helping us find our way around.

Sandra’s place in Chiswick is a warm, spacious, inviting space. It feels like a genuine family home, easier to relax in than the more contrived, soulless places you sometimes encounter. Like so many London homes, it is spread over multiple levels, but this adds to its charm and creates seperate zones, often a welcome feature for a family. Sandra is an excellent host, easy to reach and ready to help. The neighbourhood is quiet and pretty, a nice place to stroll through on your way to Chiswick High Road, with its high concentration of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and public transport. We loved it and we hope to return.

As advertised within good walking distance to the tube, shops, and restaurants. Clean and warm and everything seems to work.

We really enjoyed our stay in the house in Turnham Green. It is very well equipt (e. g. kitchen) and has generous room capacities. The furniture is typically English, what we really liked because it's a difference to most other holiday houses. The surrounding (access to bus or tube; supermarket...) is comfortable, too.

Great location, a short walk from the shops and restaurants on Chiswick High Road, and easy access to bus/tube. The property is nicely laid out and the kitchen is well equipped. Our host Sandra was very helpful and responded promptly to all our questions. We had a lovely stay!

We had the most fantastic stay. The property was absolutely perfect. We felt like we were living in our own beautiful home in lovely leafy Chiswick. Quiet location, but very conveniently located to Chiswick High Street, with great shops and restaurants, and tube nearby. And also close to the Thames and beautiful old waterfront pubs.
The house is so comfortable, roomy, well appointed and full of character. Perfect place for London visit. Would love to stay again!

The townhouse was lovely and the layout was awesome giving each couple their own privacy and their own bedroom. Sandra gave a very easy self checkin process. Things that future people should know: they advertise a washer/dryer but the dryer function of the front loader doesn’t work and we didn’t know that until after we did our first load of laundry. There wasn’t enough toilet paper, paper towels, or garbage sacks so we ended up purchasing extras of those for our 6 day stay. There weren’t any wash clothes and no extra linens - just one hand towel and one bath towel per person for the 6 day trip. We would’ve been fine washing bath towels but dryer didn’t work. Furniture and decor was beautiful and kitchen very well stocked with dishes, pots/pans. Parts of unit were high end and the shortage of things mentioned above felt cheap.

The location is lovely and convenient, just a short walk to Chiswick High Road. The apartment is very well stocked and thoughtfully decorated, not like some of the soulless rental places you get sometimes. Note there are 2 flight of stairs to climb, so those with mobility issues should be aware. And the oven was a bit tricky to operate but a quick call to Sandra resolved it (she will add more detailed instructions to the manual). All in all a good stay! Thank you Sandra.

Sandra's flat is beautifully decorated. It is two bus stops (or about a 10-15 minute walk) away from Chiswick High Street, a lovely tree lined street with many grocery stores and restaurants.
The flat is arranged in interesting layers. From the front of the house, you enter a small hallway leading to a full flight of stairs to a landing with a bedroom at the back of the house and a bathroom to the side. A skylight illuminates the landing Up four more steps to the front of the house is the main living area, kitchen in back, sitting area in front. A half flight of stairs to the back takes you to a sunny landing with an armchair. Another half flight to the front leads to the final bedroom with ensuite.
Hopefully this description will help you envision the layout of Sandra's lovely flat!

So charming!! Nice quiet area. An easy 10 minute walk to grocery store to get the things you need for your stay, and to public transportation to get where you want to go. Checkin/checkout instructions were clear and simple. We had a wonderful time!

A very well-appointed, clean, bright and comfortable home for us while in London visiting family and friends this autumn. Two good bedrooms and two bathrooms, with accommodation spread over different levels for privacy and convenience, and plenty of space for clothes and luggage. The kitchen is properly equipped for both everyday use and guests for dinner, and includes a good dishwasher, and the living and dining areas work well. Bed linen is of good quality, there are plenty of towels, and we appreciated having the washing machine. Heating is good, there is plenty of hot water and great internet. The location is extremely convenient, with excellent airport access and within easy walking distance to both bus and tube services, and with a extensive selection of grocery and other shopping nearby. Sandra and her husband are pleasant and obliging hosts, and this property would definitely be our first choice of a place to stay when we return. Thank you, Sandra.

A special home away from home, beautifully presented and comfortable
This was a perfect home away from home for us when we travelled from New Zealand for a four week stay in Chiswick. We want to thank our host Sandra who was so helpful and responsive both before and during our stay. The upstairs maisonette is in a quiet residential street close to Chiswick High Street. It was comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed. Dawne who helped out with cleaning was extremely friendly and completed her work to a high standard. We would definitely recommend this property to other travellers. Thank you again Sandra for making our stay in London a special experience !
