We loved our stay in this cute, clean and convenient apartment. We arrived early by water taxi and were met at the dock! We were able to drop our bags off and returned after lunch to a clean well maintained apartment. The location made it easy to explore all of Venice. I would recommend this apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay in Venice. The villa was well-maintained and clean. The location was in a nice, quiet and safe area. Cinzia and Oriel were so helpful with arranging transportation for us.

The property is perfect for two couples. This location places you close to everything, and is also a serene and lovely spot. It had everything we needed and more. Our host was extremely helpful and met us at check in. Super helpful; great way to begin our vacation in Italy.

The location was quiet but close to restaurants, etc. It was great that our private water taxi could drop us off at the property. The property was clean and had all that you would need. We also enjoyed the garden. The communication was responsive starting before our arrival through the end of our trip. Would definitely recommend.

Location was perfect Easy walk to all parts of Venice. Nights were quiet to rest. Many restaurants close by including Rosa Rossa. Apartment was very clean. Great AC on these super hot days. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed. Orial was in contact and responded quickly to help with arrival

Very nice apartment. Well equipped easy to get to by water taxi. The location is near a lot of restaurants and shops. When you check-in, because of the location and a locked gate, it is necessary for the host to meet you at a pre determined time which can cause slight problems if your plane is delayed. The host was very accommodating. Overall great stay.

The location was excellent and was halfway between the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. It was stocked with everything we needed including toiletries, coffee, etc. It was a beautiful apartment and we enjoyed our stay!

Overall an excellent apartment, but it could use non-skid mat in the shower and bathtub and better black out curtains in the bedrooms.

This apartment was lovely. They had all the amenities you can fit into a small place. There was a lack of space for clothes in one bedroom but we managed. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was good. Lots of dishes for cooking. Sufficient room for 4 adults, especially because of the lovely garden area. We loved sitting outside in the sun after touring Venice. Great way to get sunlight, which is hard to come by in any ground floor apartment in Venice. Very close to 2 different Vaporeto stops, allowing us to put our 3 day passes to good use. Great communication with owner and check-in person. Overall a wonderful stay.

A very comfortable apartment in a great location. Close to the water bus stops and walking distance to all the sights. Would recommend this apartment for all these reasons.

Garden apartment in a Palazzo, located on a small canal with boats gliding by, very comfortable and well appointed. Venice is a special place and our stay here was memorable. Wonderful neighborhood. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Steps from the grand canal and a central piazza but in a quiet nook away from the crowds, our family of four (including two teens) loved it. I’m especially appreciative to the owner/host for accommodating us when we had an unexpected challenge on our stay. They were also so helpful in setting a water taxi and answering a question we had about venice for New Years. Grazie mille for the hospitality! I will be happy to refer my clients to this accommodation.

Loved that fact we were able to take a private boat from the airport right to the dock where the apartment is located! A great way to see the Grand Canal! The apartment was quiet and comfortable. Very convenient to everything. Would definitely book again!

One of our doors opened to a side canal and being from Canada this is just so cool. We were near everything. The arrival by water taxi was fun. Everything about this place and Venice is such a unique and fun time

A Farewell Venezia As I awoke this morning, I was truly melancholy as today was my day of departure from the City of Love. Many times, my wife & I spoke of our romantic adventure to Venezia. Finding the VRBO, which had everything she had envisioned was the first step. The special apartment that fulfilled all her visions; access on the water, romantic evenings on a gondola, as musicians would serenade us, as we gently glided along the Grand Canal, & then would return to our apartment & enter through the private entry off the rio del Duca canal. Rising each morning to wander the streets of Venezia just like the locals. Looking for the favorite bacaros or osterias, where we would find the many varied cicchetti, small bites the locals love to eat. Finding a special restaurant on Burano to savior the local delicacies of fish, again eating what the locals eat. Visiting Murano to see master glass blowers plying their trade, producing goblets, & glasses which were as light as a feather & even an elegant vase, made with a precision which readied them to hold the beauty of a fresh bouquet of the best flowers. Walking hand-in-hand, crossing one bridge after another, stopping for a photograph here & there. Standing on a bridge searching for the colors of the evening sky; glistening reds, yellows, & oranges that would appear above the buildings along the Grand Canal of Venezia, as we celebrate our love for one another. I came to Venezia, to the apartment she loved & lived her dreams, our dreams from so many years ago as we eagerly awaited an opportunity to make our trip to the City of Love. Yes, it was bittersweet to step in the private taxi as I realized I was leaving, but I knew I had done my utmost to fulfill those dreams. And knowing that, I left with a smile on my face & joy in my heart because I left a part of her in rio del Duca canal outside the apartment on Calle Vitturi o Falier, 2909 San Marco, Venezia, Italia. To search, to dream, to love & to fulfill the dream even if she was only there in spirit, I carried her n my heart & always will. Thank you for this beautiful opportunity to live her dreams in Venezia. Un bacio.

Loved our stay!!

Fantastic location, only a 2 minute walk from the Accademia bridge and equidistant from St Marks and the Rialto bridge. Apartment had everything needed for a short break with the bonus of a garden area. As a place to stay for ourselves as many-times visitors and our first-time friend we all loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The air con set very low after a long day of travel was the best welcome we could have asked for. Orial was incredibly helpful directing us to the water taxi before we arrived. Alessandra was waiting for us on the dock and got us settled. The white cat that visited every day was a highlight. We understood we could get a water taxi right from the apartment but that was not the case. Although it did not bother us at all, I believe the listing did state that we could get a taxi right there. We would absolutely book here again.

We had a wonderful vacation in old Venice. The property is tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood not far from the sites.

Wonderful property with privacy, security, and great space. The beautiful quiet garden away from the noise of tourism and city noise was a wonderful greeting at the end of an active day. Modern kitchen and appliances, separate private sleeping quarters. Highly recommend.

This property was as advertised, thus the 5* review. The property was clean, the bedding comfortable, decent towels, a full kitchen (although I did not use it for cooking, it would have been easy to prepare meals there). The owner/manager provided a list of options to arrive at the property from VCE. I chose the middle of the road (cost/time) option, being Alilaguna, 27 Euro for a round trip per person, dropping us at the Sant'Angelo dock. The owner's representative met us and the walk to the property was 15 minutes (with luggage). Note there are several minor sets of stairs to traverse during the walk. The walk to/from St. Marks Square was about 15 minutes. Recommend that you purchase a multiday pass for the public water taxi. It was well worth the money spent. I used the water taxi multiple times, sometimes just to tour the canals via water. I believe that a grocery store was nearby, although I did not use it. The nearest square is Campo Santo Stefano. There are a few restaurants, but I do not recommend any of those. Much better restaurants were found on the other side of the canal starting in the Accademia area (also a short 7-10 minute walk).

This place is perfect. We said it’d be the kind of place we’d purchase if we decided to buy a vacation home in Venice. Location, property manager and the actual home were perfect.

Very clean and spacious. Separate bedrooms and bathrooms worked great for 2 couples traveling. Dining area is small and the view is not as shown in the pictures as there is a metal 2 foot or so high flood wall protection. Also burglar bars on that window. You have to move the table to open. There is a washer dryer combo in the kitchen but I couldn't figure it out. Written directions would be a benefit. Was met at water bus stop and taken to Vrbo and Orial explained everything. Hard to remember it all. Written directions would be good for a refresher. All in all a wonderful stay.

Nice two bedroom apartment for our family of four. Easy check-in from private water-taxi right on canal. Would be nice if they gave info on where to ask for pick-up for transfer after checking out so this could be booked in advance. Loved the small terrace in garden area and the bottle of prosecco provided upon arrival. I didn't like that we had to take our own trash to the dock. There were also ants and some bugs in the apartment, but that could be common in Venice. Overall, the location and accomodations were still very good though.
