You'll have your very own cove on Moosehead Lake at this Greenville home, a dog-friendly retreat with a private dock, a pebble beach that's ideal for swimming, and a picnic area and enclosed porch at the water's edge.
You'll find this home just 20 feet from a small, protected cove on the southern shores of Moosehead Lake. Swim with your children at the private pebble beach (protected by a breakwater of rocks), board your fishing boat at the cement docking area (for small-to-medium-size boats), and find an ATV trailhead in Greenville Junction less than a mile south.
Step inside to enjoy a classic home with lofty ceilings, free WiFi, and a gas fireplace. Pick summer blueberries to use in homemade pancakes (please note that the kitchen has an electric stove and a convection-enabled microwave, but no oven), gather for family barbecues around the outdoor picnic table, and feel the warmth of the sun in the enclosed, lake-facing porch. Your dogs are welcome to join you. This home has a washing machine but no dryer.

This was our second visit to this location. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities. The rental has a nice area to sit by the water and swim. Also, I liked that it was close to the town, so groceries and activities were convenient. We played miniature golf and enjoyed the Katahdin cruise. We can certainly recommend this rental!

Beautiful camp and location. Hope to stay longer next time.

We have been going to Moosehead for years and always enjoy what we know as the Pearl

Overall very happy with the stay. The camp was our style, simple, rustic, and clean. Very close to downtown Greenville. The rock formation creates a very calm "pool" of sorts in the lake. The water was always refreshing. We'd definitely rent here again.

We chose this home because we have a boat and it said there was a dock. We were disappointed to find that the dock is not suitable for a boat; the area to dock is only 3 feet deep at most. Also, the water in cabin is not consumable and all appliances are very dated. We enjoyed sitting out by the water, but pine needles were falling everywhere and coated our boat and cars. Even with the good location, we likely will not be back since we can’t use the dock.

Quaint, lovely cottage with plenty of privacy and lots of space for hanging out by the lake, swimming and boating. We took 2 teenagers and they had a blast. Very close to hiking, shops, etc.

The beds were very uncomfortable and noisy.Every time you moved it was loud and annoying. The outside area could use some TLC. Living room chairs very worn. The view is great from the porch. Maybe some instructions for all thr tv remotes. Also some window treatment.

We had a great stay. Could have used some wood for outside fire pit.

This camp far exceeded my expectations and I honestly don’t feel that the pictures do it’s reality justice. Such a peaceful camp for a relaxing weekend getaway!

The property was quaint and cozy. The lakefront property has great views of Moosehead Lake and is great for a relaxing getaway. The property is close to downtown Greenville, restaurants, and ATV trails. The boat dock with a breakwater is awesome.

House can be a little difficult to find. Road is currently under construction. House itself is pleasant. Cleaners left a note that upstairs bed had been slept in. Iron content of water is high and there was a recommendation to not drink the water nor use it to wash white clothes. There is a washer but no dryer. There is a small boat launch and small deck at the lake edge. Lake view is nice. Enclosed porch has an overpowering smell which makes using that space impossible. Location in Greenville is excellent. Convenient all.

Loved the spot where this cabin was tucked away. The private cove was so relaxing, saw lots of baby ducks and a few nearby loons. Beds were not that great though.

Coming from Arizona, we came for the fall colors and they didn't disappoint! We enjoyed exploring the town, lunch on the lake, searching for moose (though unsuccessful) and relaxing on the dock. The house was cozy and we loved its unique touches. We can't wait to come back.

Beautiful location and very peaceful setting. FYI….both downstairs beds too squeaky to sleep in for us but loft bed was just right.

Rustic little cozy cabin right on the water. It for our needs for the weekend. Easy to find and close to town

The cabin was cozy yet had plenty of room to spread out. Plenty of towels. The cabin was very clean. We would stay there again if visiting the Moosehead Lake area.

Great town location and beautiful views of Moosehead. Really great dock area with your own boat launch. Was very difficult to cook anything without an oven and there was a musty smell everytime you walked in. Old furniture and old torn carpets. Diamond in the rough.

Large living, dining, and porch area for relaxing and entertaining. Direct waterfront with a nice protected cove for swimming and kayaking. Close to all of the amenities in the town of Greenville.

Was very relaxing, loved the cove. Only complaints are only 1 working tv and was in livingroom. Tvs in bedrooms dont work. Fake cable lines hooked to out dated tvs. But was relaxing watching the squirrels, ducks, loons on the cove

Last year we stayed here, this year we rented it for our extended family. It's cozy and has the charm of a cabin with plenty of modern amenities. We spent all week in the living room playing games and puzzles at night, and during the day took advantage of the nice horseshoe stone beach. This house has good views too and is close to town. There's also a good front porch where we sat and listened to the lake. Perfect to escape our busy lives.

Great time at Breakwater Lodge
My daughter and I came to Maine for a wedding and vacation. It rained almost the entire time we were there, but we still had a great time. Sitting on the back porch in a comfy chair with a good book, watching the changes in the lake was absolute heaven. Cabin was spotless and just lovely. It had everything we needed, including a family of deer that came for a photo op. We would definitely recommend the cabin for anyone who is looking for a lovely place to stay while in Maine. Thank you for helping make a vacation memorable.

Loved it
Hands down the best place we have ever stayed, close to town and the house is great. The views are amazing, just sit at morning watching sunrise and then bite for sunset and star gazing. We will be back to this gem. The house was big and we had 6 adults with plenty of room for all of us, we spent most of the indoor time on screen porch, also if people have small children the cove is perfect for swimming as the break wall creates a great sallow end.

Perfect location on the lake. Short walk to the water. The broken lawn chair graveyard needs to be cleaned up.

Perfect Maine Camp
We stayed a week with our three daughters, dog and boat and loved this camp! We’ve been going to Moosehead a few years now and this was the perfect camp for us! The camp itself was so clean and well stocked. Our only complaint would be the grounds around the camp need a good cleaning. Dead shrubs EVERYWHERE, broken plastic lawn chairs and other debris litter the yard.

Vacation 2020
Great place to have plenty of room. Loved the huge screened in porch. We were very close to the water with our own litle cove .the ducks were fun to watch! Close to town but felt remote.New mattresses would be nice. The grounds also need a good grooming and debris cleanup. Had a great week at this camp. Even had a dishwasher! Crockpot would be nice as well as frying pan that don't stick on.

Lovely Private Cabin
This cabin was the perfect weekend spot for my family - close to town but totally private. My kids enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the cove. The only "hiccup" was a 30 min delay in our checkin due to housekeeping still working. It was not too much of a problem.
