Big place and beautiful location, but needs a good scrubbing through out.

Beautiful location.

The house was very dusty and felt dirty. It seemed as though it had not been deep cleaned in quite awhile. Cob webs all over, dust along the baseboards, drawers and window ceils need scrubbed. The frig needed wiped out and the freezer could have also used some wiping out. The ice tray for the auto ice maker had crumbs in it and grime along the container. Lots of cleaning needs done on both floors of the house. The down stairs felt very cold and too much like a basement then a entertainment area/ extra room and bath quarters. The jacuzzi tub jets were spitting out what appeared to be mold/mildew. Very disappointed.

With better maintenance and quieter neighbors, this would been a really nice place.

Pros: Beautiful stream behind the house, lovely shady trees all around, very close to all the attractions we wanted to see, big house with nice beds.

We were expressly warned that quiet hours were between 10pm and 8 am, yet three out of four nights we were awoken by the neighbors yelling obscenities and shining flashlights through the windows! On the last night I was woken at 2 am and 6:45 am. To make matters worse, there were no window coverings on our window, and inadequate shades on the living room window. Totally unacceptable. The master bedroom door couldn't be opened because the latch got caught on the door jamb, trapping me in the room one night. Not a restful vacation :(

Very good

It was located at the heart of the Mt Hood area with plenty of activities. We enjoyed how we were surrounded by trees and could listen to the river. The beds were comfortable and all amenities were there. Our son really enjoyed the air hockey table.

When we first arrived it smelled like it had been closed up for awhile. We were able to open up some windows to air it out. The shower upstairs has very low water pressure but we discovered that the shower downstairs was much better.
